Chapter 88: Conflict and Peace
Sulis and Ahmad were sitting on the grass field chatting. Sulis was involved in a school conflict with his friend Dina.
Ahmad: What's the problem with Dina? Did you make a mistake?
Sulis: No, Ahmad. I was just trying to help Dina in a school project, but we had different views on how to do it.
Ahmad: Ah, understand. I understand that the dispute makes you sad and difficult to sleep at night.
Sulis: Yes, it is difficult to think of a way to resolve this conflict and restore my relationship with Dina.
Ahmad: What if you two try to talk about this problem calmly and objectively, and find a solution together?
Sulis: That seems like a good solution, but I am not yet sure if Dina would be willing to start such a conversation with me.
Ahmad: I understand, it can be difficult. But, I am sure that if you show a cool head and patience, you can help bring peace and peace to this situation.
Sulis: Thank you, Ahmad. I will try my best to resolve this issue and maybe bring peace to this situation.
Ahmad: In life, not all conflicts are avoidable. But we can learn how to solve it and seek peace, so that we can grow and learn from the experience.
Sulis and Ahmad then walked together towards their class in hopes that Sulis could resolve his conflict with Dina and bring peace to the situation.
After a few days, Sulis and Dina finally met to talk about the matter that was going on between them. First of all, Sulis apologized for his attitude which was probably too harsh at the time they worked together on the school project. Dina also admitted that he also had a hand in the conflict because he was too defensive about his views on the project.
Sulis and Dina then talk about the right solution to solve their problem. They finally agreed that they should keep working together and respect each other's views. Dina also agrees to be defensive no longer and is open to new ideas that could help their project succeed.
Sulis was very happy that he and Dina could finally reconcile and resolve their problems. After the meeting, their relationship became closer and Sulis felt more confident and had more friends at school.
Ahmad was delighted to hear from Sulis and was proud of Sulis' ability to handle the conflict with a cool head and fight for peace. Ahmad then said to Sulis, "I really appreciate your wisdom and cold head, Sulis. You've resolved the conflict very maturely, and I'm sure you've learned a lot from this experience."
Sulis smiled and felt moved when he heard the praise from Ahmad. He was relieved that he had found peace among conflicts and learned how to resolve conflicts in a kind and peaceful way.
"I feel even more confident now" Sulis told Ahmad. "I know that if there is a conflict in the future, I can handle it in a positive way."
Ahmad smiled. "That's what I think of you, Sulis. You always have a good and positive way of dealing with problems."
Sulis was happy to have the support of Ahmad. "Thank you, Ahmad. I'm glad that you appreciate the way I handle this conflict."
Ahmad nodded. "of course. Sometimes we have to learn from less pleasant experiences to get better."
Sulis agrees. "really so. I feel I learned a lot from this conflict, and I hope to avoid conflict in the future."
Ahmad nodded. "I'm sure you'll be able to do it, Sulis. I believe in your abilities."
Sulis smiled at Ahmad. "Thank you, Ahmad. You've always been a good friend and supported me."
Ahmad smiled. "We support each other, Sulis. That's a true friend."
Ahmad shrugged his shoulders. "We've been friends for a long time, Sulis. We've been through a lot together."
Sulis recalled the various memories they had passed together. "Yes, we've been through a lot together. From the hard times in school to the present, we still stick together."
Ahmad smiled. "We must always keep our friendship, Sulis. That's what keeps us strong in the face of everything."
Sulis agrees. "It's very true, Ahmad. Our friendship is like family. We have to support and respect each other."
Ahmad nodded. "Absolutely. We should set a good example for the people around us, including other friends at school."
Sulis. "And also a good example for the teenagers out there who may experience conflict as we do."
Ahmad stretched out his hand and Sulis held him tightly. They smiled at each other and felt relieved that they had resolved their conflict and strengthened their friendship. They know that any conflict can be a lesson to grow and develop better.
"Any agreement, Sulis. Conflict is everywhere, but if we are able to resolve it well, then we will definitely grow to be more mature and wise" Ahmad said.
Sulis nodded. "But the most important thing is the courage to apologize and forgive. Sometimes it's hard to do it, but this is what makes us stronger and closer to each other."
Ahmad nodded in agreement. "It must be difficult, but it is the first step to create peace. We must be willing to open our hearts and put ourselves in the shoes of others, so that we can understand their feelings."
Sulis took a deep breath. "And when we have understood their feelings, we can take steps to resolve the conflict in a way that is best for all parties."
Ahmad looked at Sulis warmly. "You're so smart, Sulis. I'm glad I could discuss this with you."
Sulis smiled. "Me too, Ahmad. We have to keep learning and growing together."
The two of them continued on their journey, feeling relieved and happy after successfully resolving their conflict well. They feel that their friendship is getting closer and they are ready to face challenges together in the future.
Ahmad took Sulis hand and smiled. "We should always be able to set an example for others in resolving conflicts in peace and understanding. We should be able to inspire others not to be easily provoked by emotions and be wiser in solving problems."
Sulis smiled. "Yes, you're right. We must be pioneers of peace in our environment."
Ahmad nodded. "We both can do it. Let's start with small, for example by appreciating differences of opinion and not easily provoked. We can show that conflict can be resolved peacefully and with mutual respect."
Sulis nodded in agreement. "Yes, we have to start with ourselves. Let's set a good example for others."
The two walked together, thinking of ways in which they could practice peace and mutual respect in everyday life. They are aware that although conflict is inevitable, peace can also be achieved if we are willing to learn and act wisely.
On the way home, Sulis and Ahmad felt peace and relief after successfully resolving the conflict that had occurred between them. They realize that the world cannot be completely free from conflict, but everyone can participate to create peace.
Arriving in front of Sulis' house, Ahmad said good night and promised to continue their talks at a later time to discuss further ways to achieve peace in life. Sulis smiled and replied goodbye that night.
As Sulis walked into his house, he felt the warmth of his family that was waiting for him. Sulis told about the conversation and discussion about the peace he had with Ahmad on the way home. His family loved to hear such things and supported Sulis' actions to become an agent of peace in his neighborhood.
Before going to bed, Sulis prayed to be a pioneer of peace and unity, not only for his family and environment, but also for the world.
