Chapter 79: Testing and Certainty

Sulis was sitting with Ahmad in the school garden after finishing his final semester exam. Sulis looked sad and agitated.

Ahmad: What's up Sulis? Why does Sulis look sad?

Sulis: I'm not sure I can pass this exam, Ahmad. I am not confident in the answers I give.

Ahmad: Take it easy, Sulis. Everyone must have felt the same worry after finishing the exam. But that doesn't mean we should just give up.

Sulis: How can I be sure of the results of this test?

Ahmad: First of all, we have to accept the result with the air, Sulis. If we fail, we must learn from our mistakes in order to be better in the future. However, if we succeed, we must celebrate our success.

Sulis: But what if I fail and cannot accept the mistake? I fear that failure will stir up shame and disappointment in me.

Ahmad: Sulis, everyone has experienced failure in their lives. We need to learn to stay confident and bounce back after failure. We must not let failure take control of our lives.

Sulis: Thank you, Ahmad. I feel calmer now.

Ahmad: Good. Always remember that failure is not the end of everything, Sulis. Don't be afraid to fail, but be afraid not to try.

Sulis nodded in understanding. He felt even more excited to wait for the results of his final exam. He knows that failure is not the end of it all and he will fight harder if given a second chance.

A few weeks later, the results of the final semester exam have been announced on the school's notice board. Sulis came to school with a pounding heart, afraid of the test results. He met Ahmad in the schoolyard.

Ahmad: How did Sulis see the test results?

Sulis: No, I'm afraid to see it. What about you, Ahmad?

Ahmad: I managed to get a pretty good score. But I'm sure Sulis can surpass my grades.

Sulis: I'm not too sure about that.

Ahmad: Sulis, do not underestimate your potential. Remember, we can all learn and grow. And to get better, we need to accept our mistakes and keep trying.

Sulis finally gained courage and went to the notice board. His eyes were fixed on the names of his friends. Sulis stretched out her hands and exclaimed in excitement.

Sally: I graduated! I got into a pretty good list!

Ahmad smiled and embraced Sulis.

Ahmad: Look, Sulis. You can do it. We can all do it. We just need to try and try well.

Sulis smiled and felt very relieved. He feels he has passed this very difficult test and is ready to face a better future.

Eventually, Sulis learns that failure is not the end of everything. Don't be afraid to fail, don't be afraid to try with passion and determination. All difficulties will end up convincing ourselves and bringing out our best potential is the key to our victory.

Sulis: Thank you, Ahmad. You always give me support and encouragement.

Ahmad: We are a team, Sulis. We help and support each other.

Sulis: Yeah, I'm very lucky to have a friend like you. What about our plans after graduation?

Ahmad: I choose to continue my education to a higher level. How's thyself?

Sulis: I also want to continue my education, but will probably choose a different major from you.

Ahmad: It's okay, the important thing is that we continue to learn and achieve our respective goals.

Both laughed and shook hands. During this time, they went through a lot together, and they promised to always support and help each other on their journey into the future.

Then, the two of them left the schoolyard with hearts full of hope for a better future. Sulis was very grateful to Ahmad for his support and enthusiasm. He knows now that nothing is impossible if we have a strong determination and spirit, and continue to strive to achieve our ideals.

Sulis: Ahmad, I want to say something.

Ahmad: What's wrong, Sulis?

Sulis: I understand now that life is a never-ending test. But with determination and a strong spirit, we can definitely deal with it.

Ahmad: That's right, Sulis. We must have courage and confidence in ourselves, and trust God to help us pass each test.

Sulis: Thank you, Ahmad. You always give words that are wise and motivating.

Ahmad: Same, Sulis. We support each other.

They continued their journey and talked about their future plans. Sulis was relieved to have found certainty in himself and was ready to pursue all his dreams and ideals with high spirit.
