Chapter 41: The New Plan

Sulis sat on the porch of the house, looking at the twilight sky. He looks sorrowful in himself, contemplating the journey of life he has gone through. His desire for a career in the music world is still not achieved, and more and more obstacles are facing him. Suddenly, Ahmad, an old friend of Sulis, came over.

Ahmad: (approaching Sulis) Hi Sulis, what are you thinking?

Sulis: (gobbed and smiled bitterly) Hi Ahmad. I was just contemplating my life. It felt like I was circling in place, not moving forward.

Ahmad: (sitting next to Sulis) Well, don't be so sad. You're so talented at singing, Sulis. Never stop fighting.

Sulis: (given for a moment) But everything feels so difficult. I've auditioned a lot, but I've always failed. I feel desperate, Ahmad.

Ahmad: You better change your perspective, Sulis. Maybe this is just the beginning of your success. Remember, in the course of life, there will always be obstacles and failures. What matters is how we look at it and deal with it.

Sulis: (looking at Ahmad in wonder) What should I do, Ahmad?

Ahmad: (pointing towards the piano) Have you tried writing your own song, Sulis? I know that you also have a talent for making music.

Sulis: (surprised) Actually, I tried it once. But I have always doubted my own music.

Ahmad: You must stop doubting yourself, Sulis. Writing a song is a great way to express your feelings. Who knows, your songs could become hits in the future!

Sulis: (biting his lips) I think you are right, Ahmad. I had to change my perspective and try again. Thank you for your support all this time.

Ahmad: (smile) Just relax, Sulis. I will always support you. And don't forget, never stop dreaming. Keep fighting, and success will come to you someday.

Sulis: (smiling) Yeah, I'll do it. I will pursue my dreams with all my might. And I know, with your support, I'll never be alone.

Ahmad: (embracing Sulis) That is the true friend, Sulis. Let's start making new plans to achieve your dreams!

The two of them sat on the porch of the house, discussing at length about Sulis' new plan. With a new spirit and unwavering support, Sulis is ready to embark on a new journey towards achieving his musical dreams. Together, they pledge to support each other, inspire, and live out their hopes in the music world.

A comb of sunlight pierced through the window slit, illuminating Sulis' room which was filled with books and notes. It had been a few days now, Sulis had spent his time studying diligently. He did not want to waste the opportunity to prepare himself as well as possible for the national exam that he would soon face.

Sulis felt more tense every day. On one hand, he wanted to show a resounding achievement to the people closest to him. But on the other hand, he felt burdened with the expectations and expectations given by those people. Sulis could feel the growing pressure as the days leading up to the national exam drew closer.

At that moment, there was a knock on the door of his room. Sulis found out who was coming. It turned out to be Ahmad, his best friend since childhood who lived next door to his house.

Ahmad: (laughs) "Hey, I can see your head behind a mountain of books! How many books are there for the national exam?"

Sulis: (smiling) "Haha, it seems like a lot, Ahmad. I don't want to disappoint the people who always support me."

Ahmad: "Of course they will be proud of you, Sulis. But trust me, they won't hate you if it turns out the results aren't as perfect as you think. They expect you to keep trying as much as possible, not to be perfect."

Ahmad: "That's how it should be. Remember, Sulis, the road to achievement is not always smooth. Sometimes, we will face obstacles that are difficult to face. But with courage and hard work, we can definitely get through it all."

Sulis: "I believe that, Ahmad. I will face all obstacles with my head held high, and will not give up so easily. I want to be someone who can inspire those around me."

Ahmad: "I'm sure you can, Sulis. I will always be by your side to give you support and encouragement. We're both going on this journey together."

Sulis: (warm smile) "Thank you, Ahmad. I'm really lucky to have a friend like you. Let's get ready for the national exam with gusto!"

Ahmad: "Of course, Sulis. Do not forget to also occasionally rest and relax. The balance between studying and resting is also important, so that your mind remains fresh and ready to face our tasks ahead."

Sulis: "Okay, Ahmad. I'll remember that. Let's do our best for our future!"

The two friends smiled at each other, ready to face the journey to their national exams. They supported each other and promised not to give up halfway. Together, they will fight vigorously and cultivate new hope in their hearts.

Sulis walked with hesitant steps towards her favorite seat in the park near the house. Since his decision to accept Ahmad back, his feelings have been jumbled between excitement and worry. Sulis hopes their relationship can recover, but he also does not want to repeat the mistakes of the past.

Shortly thereafter, Sulis saw Ahmad coming in a cautious manner. Ahmad looked awkward and nervous, showing how much he was unsure of his own decision.

Sulis let go of her gentle smile as Ahmad approached. "Hi, Ahmad. How are you?"

Ahmad smiled faintly. "Hi, Sulis. I'm good, thank you. Sorry if I'm late. I hesitated about whether I should come or not."

Sulis nodded in understanding. "It's okay. I also feel mixed. But, I want to give both of us a second chance."

Ahmad smiled with relief. "Thank you, Sulis. I promise you, I'll try hard not to make mistakes like I used to."

Sulis clasped Ahmad's hand with confidence. "I also have to learn to give you confidence again. But, we have to open up to each other and communicate well in order for our relationship to grow stronger in the future."

Ahmad nodded, his eyes shining with hope. "I agree, Sulis. We need to support and encourage each other. We can overcome all obstacles as long as we stay together and have trust in each other."

Sulis smiled with satisfaction. "Rubber, Ahmad. We feel fertile not only because we have made it through all these trials, but because we still have hope together. The hope sheet that we will write together in our future."

Ahmad looked at Sulis with affection. "I swear, Sulis. I will take care of you and love you with all my heart. We're gonna live out all our hopes together."

Sulis smiled happily, letting his heart be filled with warmth and love. "I also promise, Ahmad. We will continue to fight together to achieve our dreams. Together, we will become stronger and happier."

The two held hands together, feeling the vibrations of love flowing between them. Their wish sheet is not over yet, but they are confident that with strong trust and commitment, they will be able to deal with whatever is to come.
