THE JOURNEY OF SULIS AND AHMAD

Chapter 23: The Journey of Sulis and Ahmad

Sulis and Ahmad decide to leave their village, in hopes of finding a better life on their journey. They walked on foot following the path in the forest, gazing at the clear blue sky in the morning.

Sulis: (with mixed feelings) Ahmad, are we doing the right thing? Leaving behind everything we know, just in hopes of finding a better future?

Ahmad: (feeling a little worried) Sulis, I understand that this is a big step and full of uncertainty. But don't let fear rule you. We both face this journey together, and with conviction and determination, I am sure we will succeed.

Sulis pondered for a moment, paying attention to the nature around them that looked peaceful and calm.

Sulis: (with face touched) Yes, Ahmad. We must trust ourselves and overcome our fears. We have the same hopes and dreams, and this is our chance to achieve them.

They continue their journey in high spirits, facing challenges and obstacles along the way. They talk about their dreams and share stories about their past.

Ahmad: Sulis, when we leave the village, I have one big goal that I want to realize in this life. I want to open a school in one of the remote villages, where disadvantaged children can get the education they need.

Sulis: (laughs) It was a very noble dream, Ahmad. I also have my own dreams. I want to be a writer and tell stories that inspire people around the world. I want to transcend the boundaries of our little village life and create positive change through my words.

Ahmad: (smiling) Sulis, I believe that our dreams will come true someday. We just need to keep going, facing every challenge with unwavering fortitude and determination.

They walk on, facing increasingly difficult challenges and obstacles, but never give up. Sulis and Ahmad continue to support and motivate each other, demonstrating the strength of their growing friendship.

Their journey is decorated with beautiful landscapes and encounters with people who inspire them. In every difficult moment, Sulis and Ahmad always remember their expectations, and with that, they keep moving forward, with the belief that a better future awaits at the end of their journey.

Finally, after many struggles and challenges, Sulis and Ahmad reached a large city that offered many new opportunities for them. They looked at the bustling urban landscape, with a feeling of dignity and pride for their achievements.

Sulis: (smiling) Ahmad, we did it. We both got here, and now we have a chance to make our dreams come true.

Ahmad: (laughs) That's right, Sulis. This is the door to our new life, and I thank you for having a friend as good as you. Let's start building our future, with infinite expectations.

They step forward into the city, ready for a new adventure that awaits them in the future.

Sulis sat on the porch of his house, looking at the beautiful sky in the middle of the afternoon. After a long struggle to achieve his dreams, Sulis was relieved because he finally managed to finish his studies and is now waiting for graduation. Ahmad, a close friend since childhood, came with two glasses of warm tea.

Ahmad: (laughs) It seems your mind is far away, Sulis. What wind is there?

Sulis: (smiling) Ah, nothing. Just contemplating. It's hard to let go of all this college time, Ah.

Ahmad nodded in understanding, while giving the tea glass to Sulis. The two of them sat facing each other, enjoying drinks and the wind that afternoon.

Ahmad: Sulis, I am so proud of you, you know? You have really been fighting for your dreams all along. You're cool, Sulis.

Ahmad: But you are special, Sulis. You are a tireless person and always try your best. I'm sure you'll be a big man someday.

Sulis smiled and blushed in embarrassment at Ahmad's praise. They have been friends since childhood and each inspires each other to achieve their dreams. By dusk, they were still sitting on the porch, talking about a future that was now approaching.

Sulis: Now what does it feel like to do, Ah? After graduation, I wanted to find a job and start my career. But on the other hand, my heart says the trials in life are not over yet.

Ahmad: (while patting Sulis on the back) Sulis, everyone must face trials and obstacles in life. So do you. But I know you've got a firmness in yourself. You will definitely get through it well.

Sulis: Ah, thank you, Ah. You always gave me a strong spirit and conviction. I'm lucky to have a friend like you.

Ahmad: Same, Sulis. You are always there for me too. Together we will move forward, conquer this world, and realize our dreams.

Sulis and Ahmad smiled at each other, bracing for a future that was not yet clearly seen. They know that this journey will not be easy, but they are sure that by staying supportive and sharing happiness, they will live life with hope and passion.

In the boisterous voices of those returning home from work, Sulis and Ahmad remained seated on the porch, enjoying a moment of togetherness priceless. They feel that in true friends with each other, there is the power to go ahead and realize all the dreams they have.

Sulis sat quietly on the porch of his house, his eyes blankly looking at the expanse of meadow that was slapping in front of him. He still remembers what happened a few months ago when he and Ahmad separated. At that time, the two agreed to focus on their respective careers in the hope of one day being able to unite again.

That day, Sulis felt very long for Ahmad. He wanted to know how Ahmad had been doing all this time. Without thinking, Sulis took his phone and searched Ahmad's number. After pressing the call button, the call is instantly redirected to a voice message. Sulis was a bit disappointed but he uttered a short message in a smooth voice, "Hi Ahmad, this is Sulis. I hope the news is okay. Miss you. I hope we can meet again someday. Take good care of yourself. See you later."

Sulis hung up her phone and continued staring at the meadow with mixed feelings. A few weeks later, Sulis received a call from a friend who told him that Ahmad was going home. Sulis' heart flowered upon hearing the news. He misses Ahmad and hopes to see him again.

A few days later, Sulis met Ahmad at a local coffee shop. Time passed by so quickly, yet their views on each other were still the same as they used to be. There was a warm smile on their lips when they came face to face.

"Ahmad, you look amazing" Sulis said with a smile.

"Thank you, Sulis. You also remain beautiful as always" said Ahmad while trying to hold his face red.

Sulis and Ahmad began their conversation by asking each other the news. They shared their experiences and journey during their separation. Sulis tells about his work as a writer and the success he achieved. Ahmad told me about his journey out of town, his promising work, and how much he misses Sulis today.

"But Sulis, do you still have hope for both of us?" ahmad asked in a soft voice.

Sulis looked at Ahmad lovingly and placed his hand on Ahmad's hand, "Ahmad, as long as you have hope, I believe we can go through all these obstacles. We have a bright future together."

Ahmad smiled and rubbed the back of his hand gently, "Thank you, Sulis. I miss you and I still have hope for both of us."

At that time, Sulis and Ahmad decided to restart their relationship with mutual support and committed to working hard. Despite the many challenges that may come in the future, they believe that with sincere hope and love, everything is possible.

They spent the night laughing, joking, and exchanging promises of the future. Sulis felt very happy because the hope he had instilled for months finally became real. A new chapter in their lives begins to open up, and they are ready to face it together.
