Chapter 32: The Heart-Touching Reunion

After a long time apart, the long-awaited day finally arrived. Sulis and Ahmad meet again in a small, cozy cafe, where they often spend time together first. They sat at the same table as before, under the soft light of the chandelier.

Sulis smiled broadly at Ahmad's presence. Somehow, Ahmad's charm is still so strong after many years have passed. His face still looked fresh despite the fine wrinkles on his face. While Ahmad, he was also amazed to see Sulis. Although time had passed, Sulis still had a distinctive charm. His smile made Ahmad's heart thump.

Ahmad tried to break the silence with a gentle smile. "Write, it's hard to express how happy I am to see you again after all this time."

Sulis smiled as he replied, "Sama, Ahmad. I also feel very happy to see you back after so long. So many memories are engraved here" Sulis said, patting the table right in front of them.

"really. This is a place that means a lot to me. I still remember when you first sat here with your sweet smile that made my heart melt" Ahmad said as he gently clasped Sulis' hand.

Sulis smiled wryly. "Ah, you, Ahmad. It always makes me unable to get angry with you" he said, looking at Ahmad softly.

They both repeat sweet memories from their past. Their laughter echoed within the cafe. As if time ran backwards, they felt like two young people who had just fallen in love.

But then, Sulis' smile faded somewhat. "Ahmad, do you still have this wish sheet?" Sulis asked suddenly.

Ahmad looked at Sulis in confusion. "Wish sheet? What do you mean?"

Sulis smiled miris. "You remember when we used to be ambitious to make a wish sheet, a list of dreams we wanted to achieve together in the future?"

Ahmad was silent for a moment as if rethinking those memories. "Oh my God, how could I forget that. Of course, I still keep it in my black suit pocket."

Sulis smiled relievedly hearing that. "good. I still have the same sheet."

Ahmad took out a piece of paper from his pocket while frowning. "You really still keep it. I think it's a good time to open this page and see how we've been fighting for these dreams all along."

Shaky and hopeful, they opened the page of hope. Seeing their dreams emblazoned on paper is like remembering the sweet past and the delusion they built.

"There's one dream we haven't realized yet" Sulis said slowly.

Ahmad smiled warmly. "What's that?"

That smile then turned into a deep and meaningful mutual view. They both know this is the moment they always wanted and they don't want to lose it again.

Chapter 32 ends with Sulis and Ahmad clasping each other's hands, determined to make their final remaining dreams come true.

In the darkness of the night, Sulis and Ahmad sat on the porch of their humble home. A small lamp became his illumination among them. Sulis looked up at the sky full of stars, while Ahmad seemed to be in a distant mind.

Sulis: (within a deep breath) Ahmad, what are you thinking?

Ahmad: (smiling faintly) Many things, Sulis. A lot of things came to my mind.

Sulis: Tell me, Ahmad. I want to know what's in your heart.

Ahmad: (grasping Sulis' hand) Sulis, ever since we met, my life has completely changed. I felt like I had found the missing piece of hope in me. You make me feel like life means something.

Sulis: (his face flushed) Ahmad, I feel the same way. You are the light in the darkness in my heart. You were able to give me the warmth and love I had been looking for for so long.

Ahmad: Sulis, all this time I struggled to forget my past. There is still a burden I bear, a mistake I made. However, as time went on, I learned to accept myself and see a bright future with you.

Sulis: Ahmad, the past is a part of you that you cannot change. But what you can change is your choice to get better every day. I am here for you, supporting you on your journey to release the burdens of the past.

Ahmad: Thank you, Sulis. You gave me new hope and strength to rise. I will never forget you.

Sulis: (his eyes shine with confidence) I know that we will face many challenges ahead, but we will never be alone. We will take care of each other, strengthen, and face all things together.

Ahmad: We are an inseparable couple, Sulis. With you, I feel sincere and peaceful love. We will live this life with passion and create a beautiful love story.

Sulis: (smiling happily) Yes, Ahmad. This hope sheet will continue to be written together through every struggle and happiness we experience. I love you, Ahmad.

Ahmad: I love you too, Sulis. We will build a beautiful tomorrow together.

As they held hands, Sulis and Ahmad felt excited and confident. They believe that together, they can face all obstacles and achieve the dream they want. In the peace of the night, they make a promise to live a life full of love and hope.
