The Seventy One

"Who exactly is this man, dear?" Noah asked as he stroked Evelyn's hair.

"Whose man?" Eve raised her head towards Noah, they were chatting in bed before going to bed.

Evelyn stared at the watch in her hand, at 7:30 pm Noah was already 2 hours late from the time she should have come home. His phone could not be reached, causing him to worry. He called the office and they said Noah had been home since 4 p.m.

"Bath after that meal, yes, I wait at the dinner table" Evelyn said as she took off the shirt on Noah's body and placed it in a basket of dirty clothes.

Noah closed his eyes as he inhaled the soothing scent of Evelyn's body. Once quite satisfied Noah lets Evelyn go while he heads to the bathroom.

"Where to? why are you coming home late?" Evelyn asked when the two had laid themselves in bed, their positions now facing each other so that Eve could see the slightly changed look on Noah's face.

"There's work I have to finish in the office baby" Noah said, stroking Eve's hair.

"But I was on the phone to the office, he said you've been home since 4pm" Evelyn was a little suspicious when she saw Noah looking misbehaved.
