Thirteen

"Mom to talk, son"

Noah who was about to enter his room immediately stopped his steps. He looked towards the mother.

"Why ma?"

Noah looked astonished by her mama's serious look. He sat on the sofa facing the mother who was staring deeply at him

"Do you want to tell Mom something?"

Noah sighed, He always couldn't hide anything. My mom always knew something was wrong with her.

But for the problem Eve Noah can not tell anything. She was afraid that her mother would judge her lover badly and disliked Evelyn eventually.

"No, Noah's fine" Noah smiled sweetly to reassure his mother.

"You know, you can't always keep anything from your mom. Maybe now you are not ready to tell your mom. It's okay mama knows. But never feel alone, right? if you're getting tired of saving yourself you know where you're sharing" The mom's sincere smile and warm gaze make Noah feel better. He smiled and nodded towards his mother.

"If you have a break, baby. Mom's tired of taking a break too"

"Yes ma, Noah dear mama"

"Mama always loved Noah"

Noah felt how lucky he was to have a woman who understood and understood him more than anyone.

The man stepped into his room. He threw himself down, He looked at the ceiling of the room but his mind glared far away.

He didn't expect it to be like this when he loved. I feel like I have and I want to dominate. He realized Eve was not an item he could own, Eve had another life besides her.

He can't keep equating himself with Evelyn. He can reduce his association and spend time focusing on studies, family and Evelyn.

His daydreams were scrapped when the notification on his phone showed there was an incoming message.

"Sister, Eve's home"

Noah looked at the message from the girl he loved so much, the girl he had twice been caught lying to him. Lying if you are not angry or disappointed.

"Yes, happy break Ve. Sweet dream"

Noah turns off his phone after sending Eve a reply. He did not want to prolong the conversation again, he was afraid he could not help himself in an unstable emotional state to damage his relationship with Evelyn later.

Meanwhile Evelyn felt uneasy getting a reply from Noah who was other than usual. The man was cold. Usually Noah will call her right away.

"Eve apologise brother"

Eve decides to reply back to Noah's message. But a few minutes of waiting there was no reply. Eve reopened her chat room. He found the message to be only one that indicated the message had not yet been received by Noah.

Evelyn sighed, She knew Noah was trying to avoid her. The attitude Noah first did throughout their relationship.

"I'm terrified you must be disappointed, brother. I was wrong"

A single drop of regret tucked into his heart. Noah had enough to give him space, but he misplaced Noah's trust. Though Evelyn knew it was not easy for Noah to release himself to be with his friends

Evelyn was relieved to find Noah picking her up this morning. All day yesterday when accompanying Aira looking for gifts even until last night Noah did not contact him at all. Even when Eve tried calling the man's number was off.

When he finished his morning shower he was happy when he got the message that Noah was going to pick him up.

"Sister, where are you going?"

Evelyn looked at Noah as he was in his car.

"Not going anywhere" Noah replied with a faint smile at Evelyn.

"Why was it all day yesterday until last night you didn't call me? My sister's number is also inactive. Is she still angry with me?"

Noah paused for a moment, then returned Evelyn's disappointed look at him.

"Are you sure you want to talk about this now? you're about to enter" Noah glanced at the watch in his hand.

"So much less than when I was in class I didn't calm down because of your attitude."

After being silent for a while Noah sighed slowly.

"Yes big brother is still disappointed because you lied to big brother. Brother is just trying to dampen the feelings of brother so as not to be emotional. Brother doesn't want us to fight so it's better brother shut up for a while. Yesterday you also made an agreement with Aira. that is also the reason, sister does not want to disturb you spend time with Aira. Brother is training to let you get along and live what you like. Although it is not easy for my sister. But your happiness is the most important thing to you."

Evelyn smiled, she was glad Noah was beginning to understand her wishes.

"Thank you, big brother wants to understand me"

Noah smiled bitterly. A little disappointed that Evelyn was not trying to calm her feelings. She hopes Evelyn will promise to divide her time between herself and her friends. He saw a twinkle of happiness in Evelyn's eyes when he heard that she was giving freedom to Eve.

All right, Noah tried to be sincere. After all his goal to make Evelyn happy had been achieved even though it hurt him.

"When will you go home with your brother or your friends?"

Noah's already running his car, he's focused on the street.

"Just like friends? Yesterday we agreed to go to the cafe subscription all over the task"

Once again Noah was disappointed, the man nodded slowly.

"Can you brother? you're not angry, are you?"

"Yes, you can't be angry. Brother also wants to go to the central library to find another reference for the thesis." Noah shifted his focus. He did not want to dissolve in his disappointment.

"Success, baby make the script. Uda want to run, brother?"

He usually knows all about Noah's progress. He always accompanied every project Noah worked on. But lately he spends a lot of time with his friends until many are missed.

"Yes, already entered Chapter IV Maybe early next month you can hear. Doain smoothly yes, so you can quickly graduation abis it your application"

Noah smiled as he glanced at Evelyn.

Noah was able to catch Evelyn's facial changes that began to tighten. With all of her lover's changes lately Noah is not sure Evelyn will be willing to live up to what their previous deal has been. The couple married after Noah completed his graduation.

"So, I'm not just kidding Ve. Brother will not make you if you are not ready. Don't think too much"

Evelyn smiled bitterly. Frankly, he is not ready to enter the married life. He still wants to enjoy his days.
