Thirty One
"I'm sorry my wife Eve" The name 'my wife' spoken from Noah's lips made Evelyn's heart throb. There was nothing wrong with Syahira, Noah's wife. But considering they had arranged a dream together, Noah used to call Eve with the name of my wife with the intention of teasing to make Evelyn feel unwilling Noah gave the title to others. Well Evelyn did admit that she really did not know herself in this matter.
"Yes my sister" Evelyn said briefly. Previously Noah asked Syahira to rest and asked for time to talk with Evelyn. Of course Syahira allows her, she hopes Eve and Noah discuss their relationship again.
"Lately Syahira is often thought unreasonable. I hope you don't take every word of his heart." There was confusion in the man's eyes
Once again Evelyn's heart was broken. Which words should he not take heart? in fact, every speech Syahira managed to make him happy and feel alive again even though he did not intend to comply with the request of the woman.
He hopes Noah still loves him even though they won't be together, at least he doesn't feel loved alone.
"Do what will make you comfortable Eve. Don't mind Syahira, I'll give her understanding. Live happily, lest others be your hindrance in achieving your happiness" Evelyn was stunned, somehow every word Noah sounded so hurtful. Noah's words contained an ambiguous meaning, on the one hand it seems to drive Evelyn to leave but on the other hand it sounds full of regret because it was once an obstacle to Evelyn's steps to achieve her happiness in the past.
If the second meaning that Noah meant the girl was eager to shout, explain to Noah that he was wrong. Noah thinks he's constricting her and feels tormented but when the man leaves Evelyn realizes his mistake. He wanted to be in that man's confinement again. But it's too late now, isn't it? Whatever he says will not change the fact that they are now standing on two different sides separated by a deep gulf.
"Thank you for everything brother, sorry for the hurt and pain I once gave to brother. Please apologize to Syahira for not being able to fulfill her wish" Well, Evelyn has not had time to apologize to Noah for his mistake. After this he did not know whether to meet Noah again or not. But now he can step lightly, not least regret because the apology has been said.
"So you're going Eve?" Ask Noah.
"Yes, brother, don't tell Syahira first. Tell me after I'm not here. Maybe I won't be in this town anymore"
Evelyn smiled sincerely, the last smile she would offer to the man she loved.
"You Evelyn, be happy. I have forgiven everything that happened in the past. I also apologize for my selfishness that hurt you" Noah said. There was a bit of a shock in the man's voice. He wanted to ask where Evelyn was going, but he felt he no longer deserved to know more about the girl.
"May I hug my sister one last time?" Evelyn ventured to ask for something she could not ask for, and she strengthened her heart to be ready for Noah's rejection. He knew Noah was a loyal man.
Overwhelmingly Noah nodded and spread out his arms, with a smile and the roar of Evelyn's tears thrusting into Noah's arms, feeling back the warmth and scent of the man's body.
'I love you sister, still love you so much' Evelyn whispered in her heart. Enough he's self-absorbed his feelings, no need Noah know. He hugged Noah tightly, inhaling as much of Noah's scent as he could.
"Sister, I'm gone" Evelyn broke free from Noah's embrace. Removing the tears that flooded her beautiful face.
"Eve accept this" Noah took the money he had in his wallet.
"Not much, but it might help a little" Evelyn hesitated to take Noah's gift. But he does not know what he will face in the future, he has to suppress his ego.
Evelyn leaves the house, leaving Noah to look at her disappearance. Evelyn has been determined to save her story with Noah who has really ended. Evelyn wished she could live a better life without the stifling regrets.
I hope there is hope for him to live a happy life. Falling in love again? I don't know Evelyn hasn't dared to dream any further

"Why let Evelyn go? the girl was kara. Where's he going? aren't you worried about Evelyn at all? Do not let you regret it" Syahira sobbed when she found out Evelyn had left their home.
"We can't interfere too deeply for Evelyn Syahira's life. He has the right to make a step for his life" Noah tried to give understanding to his wife.
"As she was alone, her mother had just left. His soul is not strong. I was afraid something happened to him. Let's go find Eve, pick Evelyn up again" Shahira shook her husband's unmoved hands.
"He'll be even more distressed to be here Syahira. We are nobody to him. Evelyn may have gone far, she said she was leaving town herself"
Syahira was surprised, looking intently at her husband.
"You're the same as him. We have to take him now. Maybe Evelyn hasn't really left yet"
Syahira was so anxious when she saw her husband was just silent without movement.
"I'm looking for him alone if you don't want to mas" Shahira will step out but his hand is immediately blocked by Noah. The man led his wife to sit on their bed. She wiped the tears gently.
"Understand the Shahira, do not impose your will and think according to your version. Evelyn may not be as weak as you think. Mana knows his soul is even more depressed when he is here" Noah said softly.
"Give him time for himself Syahira. I know your intentions are good. But do not let your good intentions hurt him. You understand, right?" Noah looked deeply at Shahira. Wishing the wife could let Evelyn go for the common good.
"I'm sorry, you're a barrier between you and Evelyn" Syahira said.
"What do you mean? Don't think no" Noah pulled Evelyn's body into his arms, gently rubbing his wife's hair.
"If I didn't exist maybe you and Evelyn could be together" Syahira said again.
"I told you not to think based on your own version. My story and Eve's over, she's not my destiny. Remember a wise word saying what is my destiny will not miss me otherwise what missed me cannot be my destiny."
