Engelskraft: Love of Wasted Angels

Engelskraft: Love of Wasted Angels
Miracle Light

The next night, Ailey felt uneasy. After praying fervently for Kevin's father and Abram's family relationship, something stuck in his heart. He simply moved around in a sleeping position while closing his eyes, trying to find comfort. Something was troubling him, I don't know what it was.

Many times he closed his eyes and counted to put him to sleep. But his two eyes still did not want to obey his drowsiness. Finally, Ailey gave up and opened her eyes. He stared at the ceiling of the roof of the house trying to calm his anxiety.

“Definitely Kevin is still in the hospital accompanying his father.” Mumbled Ailey himself.

He was still staring at the ceiling with his eyes wide open. Slowly she put away the blanket on her body.

“I'd better go there with Kevin. Free also can not sleep here.” Continue while lifting his body from the bed and preparing.

Ailey walked down the hallway of an already deserted hospital. Doctors and nurses were also not visible to the traffic and only a few were on guard at the nurse station. The night was getting late, many rooms there were already turning off the lights because the patients were already fast asleep. However, the room where Kevin's father was lying was still radiating light. From a distance, a beam of light slipped out from between the doors.

Ailey's footsteps slowly headed there very carefully. As much as possible he does not want to cause a sound that can disturb other patients. From the front of the glass on the door, she looked inside and saw Kevin sleeping on the sofa. Tonight is Kevin's turn to accompany his father, while his mother rests at home after a day of hospital vigil yesterday.

Before he opened the door, his attention was distracted by another figure standing in front of the bed where Kevin's father was lying. It was there that the light emanated from the room. Milo stood there with a white light covering him. Both of his hands were outstretched with palms pointing towards Kevin's father's body.

“What is he doing here?” Ailey asked inwardly and held herself back from opening the door. It seems like he wants to observe first carefully.

With his eyes closed, Milo looked exhausted with sweat dripping from his forehead. His mouth was creeping as if he were reciting a spell. Ailey, who was getting curious, tried to read her lips.

“Master, according to Your commandments, so be healed and lose the cancer that is in this old man.”

Ailey is aghast after successfully reading Milo's lip. Tears suddenly flowed from both eyes. He could not believe that Milo was praying to God to heal Kevin's father.

Ailey who was still fascinated saw the light that shimmered around Milo's body could only stand glued. He did not want to interrupt the prayer or the ritual the angel was working on. If the light can indeed restore Kevin's father's condition, then Ailey will not let anything disturb him.

An hour had passed since Ailey came and the white light that shimmered all over Milo's body slowly faded. Just as the light was gone, darkness enveloped the room. Only a slight ray of light from the corridor slipped into the dimly lit room. Then Milo fell down and fell on the floor with sweat soaking his body.

“Milo!” Ailey, who realizes that her friend is not okay, breaks inside.

“Ailey?” Milo was shocked to see the woman in the same room. “Since when are you here?”

“I don't want to bother you. That's why I only see from outside the door.” He answered while picking up the downed Milo.

“You're really worried about Kevin, yeah until you get here in the middle of the night?” Milo asked back in a loud voice.

“You all right?” Ailey asked worriedly.

“I'm fine.” Milo answered while trying to stand on his feet. He was a little shrewd but his body could still stand firmly.

“Don't be too forced! Just sit down.” Ailey.

“Cannot. Kevin will soon wake up. He can't see me here.” The angel said with a pale face.

“But your face is pale. Your body is also wet from sweat.”

“Thank you for watching me. I have to get out of here before Kevin wakes up.” The reply.

Milo staggered towards the door. With the remnants of his strength, he opened the door and walked out limply. Ailey who was worried for her friend immediately caught up with her coming out and called out to her from the doorstep.

“You did something to Kevin's father, ‘right? You not only pray, but also do something for his recovery.”

“Milo, thank you.” Ailey said in tears.

Milo continued his steps and walked away leaving Ailey standing at the door. Somehow Ailey had to thank the angel for her never-break-up help.

“Ailey, why are you here night-night?” Kevin's voice shocked Ailey. The woman immediately wiped away her tears.

“I'm worried about you because you're alone, which is why I came.” Answer Ailey as much as possible.

“You should have woken me up. Come, log in!” Take Kevin from the doorway.

Ailey turns her body around and finds a miracle there. With a full day, he called the CEO of Abram, “Kevin.. It.

Kevin immediately turned to the bed where his father was lying. He saw his old father move his finger. Slowly the old man opened his eyes and looked around while trying to digest the location he was in.

“Dad! Yes, God thank you!” Shouted Kevin hysterically as he approached his father.

“Kevin. I where?” Said.

“Dad is in the hospital. Dad is here for being unconscious for a few days.” Obviously while crying.

Kevin hugged his father. The sight was so beautiful that it made Ailey moved. For the umpteenth time, the woman again shed tears. The father and son's embrace was enough to answer his prayer. He promises himself to keep the relationship even though he has to leave Kevin.

“Thank God, I'm awake. I'll call the sisters to do further checking.” Ailey.

Kevin's father looked towards Ailey who was standing in front of the doorway. As their eyes clashed, Ailey trembled in fear that her presence would worsen the atmosphere.

“I'm all permission to leave, yes. I call the nurse first.” Ailey said as she turned her body around.

“Wait a minute, Ailey!” The father said with his voice still weak.

Ailey stopped and turned her head back to the father and son. Her face she submits for fear of meeting Kevin's father's eyes. She will definitely be scolded for still not leaving her child.

“Ailey, come here!” Take the father.

Then Ailey walked over and sat down next to Kevin. His face was confused because the eyes of the father who saw him were so soft.

“Pardon Dad for having complicated your relationship.” Said dad to Kevin.

Shaking, Kevin's father put Kevin's hand on Ailey's hand next to his. She smiled with teary eyes. Ailey and Kevin are still amazed at her attitude.

“Daddy dreamed there was a sparrow carrying a strand of red rope. The bird tied the rope to Kevin's ring finger. Then, he flew off with the other side of the rope and tied it to Ailey's ring finger. As each side of the rope connects, I see the sincere happiness of you two.” Unmistakably.

“Dad.” Said Kevin.

“My whole life, I've never seen Kevin that happy. Although only in a dream, but it feels so real that happiness also spread to my heart.” He said with a gentle voice.

Ailey and Kevin looked at each other. They did not expect that it could be heard by Kevin's father who always opposed them.

“Ailey, I'm sorry for asking you to stay away from my son. From now on, I give you both my blessing.” Continue while shedding tears.

The words made Ailey and Kevin cry happily. The two of them immediately hugged Kevin's father and showed the deepest gratitude. A warm atmosphere spread throughout the room. Sobs of crying should be heard up to the corridor to make the sisters and doctors who were on guard to watch the beautiful moment.
