Engelskraft: Love of Wasted Angels

The exhibition of angel-themed artwork really attracts many people. Seen influential figures in Indonesia milling around in the ballroom of Abram City Mall. Media crews are also competing to cover various kinds of art that are there. What a pretty crowded sight.

While waiting for Milo to finish with his business in painting “End from the Rebel”, Ailey looked at other paintings that are no less beautiful. He looked at every detail of the paintings. Beautiful, yet none were able to enchant her like the black-winged angel painting seen before. Not far from where he stood, he saw the two Marliani brothers looking at the same painting.

“Ailey, glad to see you here!” Lanny cried as soon as she saw Ailey in front of her.

“Hai, Lanny! Hello, Ms. Lina.” Sapa Ailey's polite.

“How did you get in here? Isn't the entrance ticket of this exhibition quite expensive for you?” Syndicate Lina.

“Oh, the..” Ailey stammered.

“Already, Lina! Want to see when you're hard on him?” Lanny Protest.

“Truely too, I don't want my mood to fall apart in the middle of this international-scale art exhibition.” Further.

“I... I say to the toilet first, yes.” Ailey tried to avoid.

“I'm coming too! I just peed to accompany Lina around this exhibition. Come!” Take Lanny with Ailey's arm.

The two of them passed by leaving Lina who was still seriously considering which painting to buy. From a distance, he saw Milo was staring at the large painting seriously. Without a second thought he approached the human angel.

“Did you buy her a ticket to the exhibition?” Lina told Milo.

“Eh?” Milo's daydreams were caved in instantly. “You came here too?” Reply without answering the woman's question.

“I really like artwork. There's no way I'm missing the best work from the foreign artists on display here. By the way what are you looking at?” Lina asked as she watched the magnificent black-winged angel painting.

“This painting, you know who the painter is?” Ask Milo.

“Setauku, the painter has died a few years ago and this painting is the masterpiece of his. So valuable, no one dared to put a price on this painting. Therefore, the End of the Rebel becomes a priceless item that always moves around the exhibition venue until finally returning to the museum of luxury goods in Europe,” he explained. “What's the reason?”

“I'm just curious about the creator. Surely he is not a random person because he is able to produce a very emotional work like this. As if the one who saw it was sucked into the painting.” The answer.

“Wah, you understand the art apparently. Many people come to exhibitions like this just to be stylish or used as a source to create content. I didn't expect there to be anyone like you who appreciates a work of art.” Praise Lina with amazement.

Milo just smiled faintly at the compliment. In fact, he had indeed felt the same pain as the figure of an angel in the painting. However, he could only pretend in the presence of humans who did not understand the true story.

“Alright, please enjoy this exhibition! I'm first, yes.” Lina.

A small nod was given to him by Milo. While observing Lina who had gone away, she realized Ailey's departure. In a hurry, the angel went to look for Ailey and left behind the painting that had drawn her heart.

Lanny stands in front of the ladies' toilet carrying Ailey's bag. Ailey left the bag to Lanny to keep it from getting wet. Understandably, the bag was the only bag that the woman had. If the bag is wet or dirty, you must bother to clean it or buy a new bag.

“You're done?” Lina asked as she walked over to her sister.

“Thank goodness brother came! I peed, kebelet. Ailey was inside a long time. I'm putting the bag on you, yeah. Just a moment.” He said while handing Ailey's bag over to his brother's hand.

I don't know what possessed her, Lina opened the bag just wanted to eliminate curiosity. A seedy wallet and some cosmetic tools were strewn about inside. However, there was one thing that caught the woman's attention. An unfamiliar medicine bottle was lying at the bottom of the bag.

By reflex, Lina's hand grabbed the medicine bottle and read the medical writings there. He tried to digest the writing but could not understand it because he had never seen the drug. Curiosity filled him, he opened the lid of the drug and found the exact same form of the drug he found in Kevin's car.

His body looked at the details of the medicine in the bottle. Why is the HIV drug in Ailey's bag? If the drugs in Kevin's car are his, then Ailey is the passenger in his car. Not yet able to think clearly, he heard the voice of his sister and Ailey approached. Lina immediately closed the medicine and put it back in her employee's bag.

“Bu Lina?” Ailey saw her boss standing nervously holding her bag.

“This is your bag! You better replace it with a new, nicer bag.” He said, handing the bag over to the owner.

“Thank you, Mom already wanted to be cheered on my bag.” Ailey said politely.

The sound of footsteps came closer steadily. From behind the crowd, Kevin was seen approaching the three women. Noticing Ailey's whereabouts there, Kevin threw a smile. Ailey simply returned the smile with a small knot on her lips to keep from being too visible to Lina.

“Kevin, looks like I've found the painting I want.” Lina.

Not yet Kevin answered, Ailey lowered her head and said goodbye, “I go home first, yes.” He said as he walked past the CEO.

“I guess you didn't use the ticket I gave you.” Sela Kevin's.

“You mean?” Lina was surprised to hear Kevin say.

Ailey stopped her steps without even looking back. As much as possible he did not want to bring up his gift ticket in front of Lina, but instead the man himself was looking for a reason.

“You gave this exhibition ticket to the woman?” Lina sounded annoyed.

“Do not overdo it! No need to exaggerate like that.” Answer Kevin.

Lina who was furious saw Ailey standing behind her was ignited by jealous flames. The desire to pull her and grab her hair crossed her mind.

“Hey, women don't know themselves! Still dare to tease the fiancee of people apparently?!” Lina's protest was full of emotions.

Ailey did not answer the confrontation at all. He was still standing there with trembling legs as if glued to the floor he stepped on.

“Do not until I reveal your biggest secret, yes!”

Ailey raised her head in surprise. Finally, she looked back and saw Lina with her face full of anger. Does his boss know about his illness? Think Ailey.

“Ailey, I'm looking for you everywhere. It turns out here apparently.” Excited Milo as he approached them. He realized there was a debate going on between them.

“The prince has arrived. So, you brought that guy here using the ticket I gave you?” Kevin said with jealous flames.

“Ailey, we'd better go home now.” Take Milo while pulling the woman's hand.

Ailey's eyeballs looked at Lina tearfully. Then his eyes were turned to Kevin. He sees Kevin wanting to chase after him but is held back by the presence of his fiancee. The two of them looked at each other unmoved as if they did not have any power to express their true feelings to each other.
