Three Times Chance

Ailey's two feet stepped limply down the road to the kosan. His face bowed down while watching every footstep he took. Several times he chuckled to himself while recalling the special treatment given by Kevin. Accompanied only by the moonlight peering out from behind the night sky, he walked away wistfully while occasionally wiping his puffy eyes.

“The man is indeed the place to be disappointed.” Milo's voice was heard near the woman.

Ailey turned her head towards the sound and saw Milo standing in front of the garbage dump where he had his first encounter with the angel. Seeing the sad face of the woman he adored, Milo walked over politely.

“How's the engagement party?” Ask Milo.

“Where did you know?” Ailey asked back.

“What do I not know about you? Besides, actually I was invited by Kevin too but I did not want to come.” The answer.

“Why?”

“I don't want to see your moody expression as I see it today.” Milo.

Ailey was silent for a moment. He just looked at the angel standing in front of him and replied, “Murung? Make what?”

Milo sighed and looked at the woman sincerely. The silent atmosphere of the night made clear the unspoken answer. Milo understood perfectly well what Ailey was feeling even though the woman denied it.

“You liked that CEO, ‘kan?” Ask Milo to the point.

“Like? I dare not like a man, let alone a CEO Abram.” classmate The answer.

“Why should you deny if you feel it?”

“You don't understand. I just don't believe in men.” Connect Ailey.

“Because of that rape case?” Milo.

Ailey is shocked to hear that coming out of the angel's mouth. He never even told her that bad thing.

“Oh, yes you are an angel. You must know what happened to me without me telling.” Typhoon Ailey. “Because you already understand, it seems like I don't need to explain anything anymore.”

Milo looked at Ailey's face sadly. He wanted to say something that had stuck up to him all along regarding the incident back then, but he could not say a word. Actually, what was he still hiding to Ailey?

“Good. I'm not gonna bring up that case again. If you don't trust men anymore, will you trust me who is this angel?” Milo said softly.

“Why not? As long as you're not human, I think I can trust you completely.” Ailey replied as she smiled at the smile on her lips.

Milo replied with a happy smile. Light shimmered around his body and gave light to a dark night. Once again, he exposed his dull majestic wings to Ailey and flapped them several times.

“Because you have shown that sweet smile, I will give you a gift.” He said, extending his hand.

Without hesitation, Ailey welcomed Milo's hand. Quickly, the angel pulled and hugged her like she had when she first flew with Ailey. The woman was surprised, but this time she did not protest because she knew that the angel would take her flying. Ailey closed her eyes and felt her body slowly becoming light. The night wind was getting more and more on his cheeks.

They both hovered in the night sky. The lights adorn the surface beautifully. Quiet, as if all the burdens of the earth were simply gone when the feet did not tread the ground.

Ailey opened her eyes slowly. He looked down and found the light of the scattered lights so beautifully. But he realized that this scene was different from Jakarta usually.

“That's great, where is this?” Ask Ailey.

“Don't look down! Look at the one in front of you.” Milo's voice entered Ailey's ears politely.

So surprised Ailey saw what was in front of her. A red-colored tower with a very beautiful light rose from the ground with its tip right in front of Ailey's eyes. This architecture is not foreign, he often saw it in magazines or television.

“Tokyo...Tower?” Ask Ailey hesitantly.

“Quickly!” Milo cried while blinking his eyes.

“Seriously? We're in Japan? It was so fast, I just closed my eyes for a few minutes!” Shouted Ailey in disbelief.

“How? You like?”

Ailey looked up and saw a sense of pride on Milo's face. The woman nodded excitedly and hugged the angel tighter and tighter.

“That's so great! I've never been abroad and you've taken me to this place, I really don't believe!” Ailey is excited.

“Good if you are happy. I'm much more useful than any man in the world, aren't I?” The angel was satisfied.

“Againly a sex angel? Hahaha.” Typhoon Ailey.

“At least I present before you with a male form.” Reply Milo was a bit upset.

The two of them set foot on one of the skeletons of the tower and sat sweetly while watching the scenery around. Awe filled Ailey's body to see the beauty in front of her. It never occurred to him that he could go to Japan.

“Milo, sometime take me to another country as well, yes. With those sturdy wings of yours, I can walk around the world for free. How amazing!” Ailey.

“Hmm, let's save this conversation another time. I'll keep my wings until you're sure where to go.” Milo.

“Why is that? We can schedule one day for one country destination.” Her speech.

Milo. His eyes stared at the moon in front of him. Silence, only the sound of wind was heard.

“If I show my wings again for the third time, it's a sign I'll vanish from before you.” Milo's voice sounded soft.

Ailey who was sitting next to him was shocked without making any sound. He saw Milo looking at the moon with a glaring look. However, there was a sense of happiness from the two angel eyes that glared.

“As long as my mission goes, I am only allowed to show my angelic form to humans three times. That's my tolerance limit. Then, I want the next flap of wings I can show you as soon as my mission is complete. When that happens, I will return to Master's house and disappear from the human world.” Further.

Both of Ailey's eyes glazed over at the angel's explanation. I don't know since when he felt bound by fate with Milo so that the sentence made his heart sad. The speech just reminded Ailey that humans and angels are in different worlds. He clasped Milo's hand and made the angel turn towards Ailey.

“Then, I won't make you show your wings again after this.” Ailey's whispers.

The sweet atmosphere in Tokyo Tower with a moonlight shower moved Ailey's heart. He brought his face closer and kissed Milo's cheek. It made the angel's face reddened with shock and embarrassment. In a few minutes, the two creatures spent time there before finally flying home.
