Engelskraft: Love of Wasted Angels

Engelskraft: Love of Wasted Angels
Feeling Betrayed

Ferdi looks overwhelmed to welcome visitors who come to the cafe. Since the latest coffee products launched, Engelskraft is increasingly enlivened by visitors who want to try the drink. Mario who is next to him is trying to make sure the visitor orders are not missed.

“Ailey hasn't returned?” Ask Mario to Ferdi.

“Not yet. Though it was crowded like this, but he had a long lunch.” Answer Ferdi.

“Wah, try to call him. He should help us immediately.” Tell Mario to his partner.

Disenchanted by the crowd that is difficult to contain, Mario headed to the outdoor cafe to approach his boss who was sitting right under the open window. He put a bottle of water on the table where Milo was.

“Your lady hasn't arrived yet. How'this? Cafe is bustling he's even late.” Said Mario.

“It's been 10 minutes, yes. Not usually he's late.” Reply Milo casually.

“Just you should scold Ailey when she gets here.” Scolds Mario.

Ailey came panting at Ferdi who was preparing coffee for the visitors. The woman immediately picked up the apron that was in the drawer and put it on quickly.

“Your turn comes, Mario is gone. Try calling him outside. Looks like he's reporting your delay to boss.” Complain Ferdi.

“Sorry, yes I'm late. I'll call him.” Reply Ailey while walking towards the outdoor.

Meanwhile, Mario still demands Milo to be professional and firm on Ailey. Although her angel colleague has special feelings for Ailey, she must be able to separate personal feelings with work professionalism.

“Milo, I don't want to know. You must discipline all your employees, including Ailey!” His protest.

“Yes, the affairs of feeling should be separated from work. I see, ‘kan you mean?”

“I'm serious. Don't blame me if I leak your biggest secret to her, yeah!” Said Mario firmly.

“Which secret?” Milo asked while looking intently at his friend.

“If you are the one who ignited the foul intentions of the man who raped Ailey first.”

Milo immediately moved out of his chair. His face looks unhappy with Mario's touch.

“No need to bring that up again! Actually what, the hell is your problem to say it?” Milo Protest.

Tension was between the two of them. As Milo stood right parallel to the cafe window, he gasped to see Ailey looking at him in disappointment from behind the window. The nervousness is clearly visible on Milo's face to make Mario curious about what his partner saw.

“Ailey?” Mario was flabbergasted to see the woman right next to him with only the window closed.

The two female eyes looked at them with disdain. The pain in his chest reappeared after a long time he buried to forget the bad events that happened to him when he was a teenager. He did not expect the truth to be heard unintentionally through the chatter of the angels.

“A...Ailey, how long have you been there?” Milo asked nervously.

“Newly come already gone again.” Ferdi muttered alone without knowing what was happening.

“Ailey, wait!” Milo spontaneously chased after him to cause a sense of wonder for anyone who saw him.

“Mario, they both why?” Ferdi asked curiously at Mario who walked up to him.

“It... I can't explain it. Too complicated.” The answer.

Tears rolled down the woman's cheeks. He ran as fast as he could away from Milo. His mixed mind was filled with various raging emotions. How could the figure who is considered as his guardian angel turn out to be the mastermind behind the rape case first? Her thought.

“Ailey, listen to me first!” Milo's voice was heard following him from behind but Ailey still did not slow down his pace.

The crowd at the Abram City Mall looked on in surprise as Ailey was running away from Milo. He doesn't care about his surroundings. All he thought about was going away because of the pain he felt. Ailey feels betrayed by one of her closest friends.

Unfortunately, Milo's footsteps were too wide and fast. He catches Ailey's hand and stops her from running.

“Ailey! Listen to me first!” Milo said nervously.

“Let me go! I don't want to talk to you!” Timpal Ailey in tears.

Milo who saw the moist face that was wet from the crying felt devastated. He couldn't even explain anything.

“Ailey..” Milo's voice sounds sad.

“Not just Kevin, even you weren't honest with me! I shouldn't have to trust any more with any of those men!” Ailey was full of sobs.

“Ailey, I didn't mean to lie to you!” Milo also shed tears.

“What protective angel? How dare you show up after ruining my life. You have no feelings!” Reply with anger.

Milo was stunned to hear the statement. He sees Ailey is not the usual Ailey. The woman was filled with flames of anger. Every tear drop that flowed, implied the indisputable hatred of Ailey.

“Ailey..” Milo felt guilty seeing the slump from the woman's face and slowly removed his grip from Ailey's hand.

For a few seconds, the woman stared at Milo sobbing. Until he turned around and walked away. This time, Milo did not chase after him. He only noticed Ailey's back, which looked frail at the time, and finally disappeared from her presence.

Milo lowered his face trying to hide the regretful cries of the people around who were watching the drama from earlier. Her chest feels tight. He did not expect that the secret that had been kept tightly ended up being revealed in a way that he did not expect. Rice had become porridge, the angel could only regret his actions by crying bitterly.

The Ramaiman Mall Abram City does not necessarily expel the silence that is in Ailey's heart. He felt a heartbreaking pain. Many times he tried not to believe what he heard, but given Milo's background as a fallen angel, everything made sense.

How lyrical. Not long ago Ailey heard something bad from her father, now she has to accept the harsh reality of the angel she believes to be her protector. Ailey was devastated, there was nothing else that could be the place to complain. He really feels alone. Nothing else can provide comfort. His heart was broken and broken. In his mind, he regretted his decision for having trusted the dull-winged angel. In the end, that trust became a deeper disappointment.
