The burden of the Firstborn

Abram Electronics store flooded by visitors. Ailey and Siti look overwhelmed handling the visitors who come. The two of them did not even have time to chat because of the denseness of the day. Transactions come and go, it seems that the digital marketing strategy that is applied runs effectively.

After 8 hours passed, the store slowly began to quiet before the mall closed. The two employees were finally able to breathe and stretch their muscles.

“Crazy too, yes today! If every day is crowded like that, I guarantee this store will not go out of business.” Siti muttered at the cashier table while paying attention to the list of transactions that occurred that day.

“Hopefully tomorrow is also crowded, yes. I don't want to lose my job again.” Ailey.

“Ai, you definitely don't believe in our sales today. Transactions tripled compared to the usual day, you know.” Siti said while pointing towards the cashier monitor.

“Yes!!!! This way, Miss Lina will definitely be better off on us.” Ailey is happy.

“Don't expect too much, Ai!” Refuse Siti while shaking her head. “The name of a person's personality has been formed from small, difficult to change. I'm not at all sure.”

“I get it, anyway. No harm hope a little, ‘kan.” Ailey said.

While waiting for the closing hours of the mall, the two of them were busy chatting while occasionally serving customers who came even though it was not as crowded as before. But out of nowhere, Lanny appears and greets them both. The look of the night was very simple, wearing a t-shirt and jeans, complete with flip-flops.

“It seems you guys are very happy.” Suddenly said.

“Lanny! Just surprise me.” Ailey.

“What's up, anyway?” Lanny asked curiously while stealing a glance towards the monitor. “Wah, great!!!! Surely my brother will be happy to see this sales increase.” Exclaims.

“If he is not happy, it is certain that there is a psychiatric disorder.” Said Siti starkly.

“Hey, don't make fun of my brother! But, sometimes I also feel like he's mentally ill, anyway. Hahahaha.” He said full of jokes.

It was so different with Lina. Lanny is very easy to joke with and not easily offended like her brother. But there's one thing in common, the Marliani brothers, by the way, there's definitely no filter. Everything can come out of the mouths of both of them.

“Eh, how about you close faster? I'd like to treat you to coffee at Engelskraft.” Bring along.

Quickly, they tidied up the store and shut down Abram Electronics faster than usual. They do not want to miss out on expensive coffee deals that they could never buy before. If usually they can only buy coffee in the cafeteria or starling who used to walk around the streets, this is their only chance not to bother about the money that will be spent just for the sake of a cup of coffee.

The atmosphere in Engelskraft is still crowded even though there is 1 hour left to operate before closing the mall. However, there is no visible queue in front of the cafe snaking as usual. Fortunately, the three women got a seat without the need to queue. It is inconceivable if you still have to queue, definitely not going to hunt.

“Tumben once you guys really become our visitors, usually just peek from outside like freaks.” Said Mario ketus.

“We are customers, please be more polite a little!” Replied Lanny who was sitting while crossing her legs.

“This isn't my boss, she's the sister of Lina Marliani. Actually he's very good, you know.” Ailey replied in a soft voice.

The three women enjoyed the atmosphere of the Engelskraft cafe that night. Like a friend who has known for a long time, Lanny can blend in with Ailey and Siti without obstacles. They talk about many things like friends.

Not too long ago they were talking, suddenly Lina barged into the cafe with an angry face. He kicked down the table where the three women were talking to spill one of the coffee on it.

“Enak, yes you guys are even lazing here? You think the store is closing at what time, huh?” Shouted Lina's doormat.

“Sorry, Mom. Anu...” Siti and Ailey flirted to answer the boss.

“Kak, don't upset them! I brought them here and closed the store faster.” Lanny Bela.

“What? You don't even work at Abram, you dare to manage our operations?”

“Iya, I'm sorry. So don't blame Ailey and Siti anymore, yeah.” Connect Lanny.

“It should be as a child of the Marliani family, you set a good example. You bring our family's good name, you know.” Lina Emotion.

Suddenly silence covered the entire room. The visitor who was still inside only noticed the quarrel of the two brothers without daring to mediate. While Lanny who tried her best to defend the two Abram Electronics employees was seen cornered to hear the words of her brother.

Mario who is usually sprightly to reprimand people who make a scene in his cafe also silence himself. Ferdi elbowed Mario to tell him to break up the dispute. But Mario remained silent and only watched from the bar table closely. It seemed that he had indeed deliberately allowed the quarrel of the two brothers.

“Always so...” Lanny started talking, “Always bring the big name Marliani. Can't you just look at me as a normal human being? What good is it to carry a surname if we can't be ourselves?!”

“Badness. You...” Lina has not had time to continue her anger, she was surprised to see Lanny's face flushed red with her teary eyes.

All eyes were on Lina to make the haughty woman tremble. He seemed embarrassed by the incident just now. He clenched both his hands and immediately rushed out of the cafe while bowing his face.

Ailey who saw the quarrel felt sympathy for the two brothers. Her heart ached from feeling pity to hear the statement from Lanny. Especially to Lina, who bore the burden of the big name Marliani because he was the eldest son of a famous oil businessman family. Mario, who can read human feelings, also feels the sadness that Ailey feels. Milo is protecting her because Ailey is a very delicate and fragile woman, Mario thought.
