Tensions were felt at the home of conglomerate Abram. Kevin and his father sat facing off coldly. As if it could not be bothered, Kevin's mother could only observe from the kitchen. It had been almost 1 hour they both spoke seriously, but there seemed to be no satisfactory results.
“So you still won't listen to me?” Kevin's father said in an angry tone.
“How else do I have to give an explanation to Dad? I want to get serious with Ailey. I also promise to keep Abram's company running as it should.” Obviously Kevin.
“Then what about the disease he suffered? It will be a disgrace to our family.” The father still insisted.
“His disease is not a disgrace. Times have changed, there is nothing to worry about.”
“Daddy still disagree!” Rigorously.
“Dad, can't you see me as your son and not Abram's business wheel-drive? I didn't ask for much.” Kevin brightly lit with a soft voice.
The founder of Abram did not make the request of his son. He just threw his face away and crossed his arms. The hard nature that was on him was unshakeable. He still does not allow Kevin to be in a relationship with Ailey.
“I'll stick to my stance.” Kevin said as he stood up from his seat.
“Kevin!” Jerk the father.
“Sorry, I'm not a kid anymore that you can manage as you like.”
Emotions overflowed from the father's heart and boiled until they reached his brain. He never likes to be denied by others because he thinks all his decisions are the best. Without trying to dampen the atmosphere, unexpected words were spoken from his mouth.
“If that's what you want, don't ever call me your father again!” Said the father firmly.
Kevin choked to hear the words coming from his own father. His body trembled slightly, but he tried to stabilize his footing. Without replying to a single word, Kevin headed for the exit and started his car engine. Then, he passed away.
“Daddy, aren't you overdoing it?” Ask your mother from behind the kitchen door.
“Let that kid! If he needs money, he will also come back looking for me.” He said full of confidence.

It was very late that day. Ailey has to get ready for bed so she doesn't get late for work tomorrow morning. After her healing time with Lanny, she had already made up her resolve to return to live with gusto. The blanket closed and the room lights were turned off. However, there was someone who knocked on the door so that it disturbed his sleep. He got out of his bed and turned the lights back on.
“Who, the hell are these nights?” He said as he opened the door to his locked room.
How shocked Ailey was to see Kevin standing in front of his rented door in a mess. His cheeks were red and his eyelids were slightly closed like a drunken person.
“Hai, Ailey!” Greet Kevin in a dragged voice.
“Ke... Kevin? Why did you come here so late at night?” Ailey Protests.
“I want to tell you something.” Continue half-conscious, “I love you. I... love..”.
He had not yet finished his sentence, his body falling towards Ailey. His head was directly resting on the woman's shoulder.
“Kevin?” Bitch Ailey.
Ailey slid Kevin's body slowly on the mattress while supporting his head with a pillow so as not to stumble. Understandably, the old mattress so that the bus is not soft anymore.
“Why do nights have to come in this state and say it, anyway?” Ailey muttered with a red face.
He looked carefully at the handsome face of the CEO. He hadn't seen her this close in a long time. A longing swept through him to make his palms go through every curve of the man's face.
“Sorry for doubting you.” Ailey's whispers.
Sincerity emanated from Kevin's sleeping face. Ailey realizes how difficult it is for the man to live the demanding life of his parents. Kevin must be so tired of facing everything alone. If not, how could he have gotten this drunk and bounced up to his contract.
The half-conscious love statement that Kevin made was still echoing in Ailey's ears. It was not a made-up but sincere statement coming out from his subconscious. The woman shed tears unnoticed. Warmth filled the heart so that it could not express it with words.
He spread his body next to Kevin who was already snoring loudly. While paying attention once again to the face of the man next to her, she gave a small smile as she slowly let out her cries as if she felt the burden the CEO was experiencing. Ailey cried and continued to cry until her eyes were closed from exhaustion.

Sunlight slipped into the crevice of the curtains. The noise of vehicles began to be heard through the walls of the house. On a simple mattress, two human children sleep next to each other peacefully.
Kevin who was disturbed by the morning sunlight began to wake up and open his eyes. Right next to her, she saw Ailey's innocent sleeping face. For a few seconds he was hypnotized by the sight until finally realized from his daydream.
“Why am I hired by Ailey?” Ask yourself a question while jumping out of bed in shock.
“Wait a minute! Last night coming home from drinking, I don't really remember what happened after that. Don't tell me I was here late at night drunk! Yes, my goodness Kevin!” He screamed in panic and woke Ailey.
“Oh, already awake?” Ailey asked as she rubbed her eyes that were still not fully open.
“A... Ailey. Tell me what I did to you last night!” Said Kevin stammering while prostrating on the floor.
“Ha?” Ailey is still half-conscious about understanding the CEO's words.
“We are both one bed, am I.?” Said decapitated.
“Ooohhh! You came here last night and fell asleep at the door. After that I laid you in bed and I fell asleep.” Ailey answered Kevin's question.
“Really I didn't do anything to you? At least, did I say something stupid?” Ask back.
Ailey recalled the man's love statement last night who was heavily drunk. Of course if you think about it again, Ailey could have misbehaved so she had no intention of telling him.
“No. You didn't say anything.” Ailey said as she yawned.
“Thank God, I guess I repeated a bad thing that happened to you when you were a teenager. Ah, sorry I didn't mean to bring it up.”
Ailey looked at Kevin who felt bad for her. How could he not fall for a man this good. Then, Ailey stepped forward and caught up with him kneeling on the floor. Gently, he hugged Kevin tightly to the point of making the man flinch.
“I should be sorry. Sorry, because I don't understand what you're going through and let you go through it all by yourself.” His words are loving.
Ailey's attitude touched Kevin's heart. He returned his embrace by wrapping his hands around Ailey's waist. The two men did not want to let go of his hand. They both seemed to be enjoying an unexpected moment of reconciliation on that sunny morning. Accompanied by the sound of the vehicle horn that began to earthy, the two of them chuckled in a small sense of warmth given to each other.
