Engelskraft: Love of Wasted Angels

It was almost an hour after Ailey's work hours ended. He was standing next to the bar table with a bag hanging over his shoulder. Occasionally he matched the clock on his wrist with a wall clock mounted on the walls of the Engelskraft cafe.

“Still not picked up?” Ask Ferdi who is preparing a coffee order for visitors.

“Yes, it is not usual that the CEO is late.” Answer Ailey.

“Have you called yet?” Ask back.

“Already, Fer. But not lifted. There may be a sudden meeting.” Ailey said lethargic.

Ailey's face looked worried. Even though he tried to think positive, but actually he was afraid when something bad happened to Kevin. The sight stole the attention of Milo who was chatting with one of the cafe visitors until he approached him.

“Where's Kevin?” Ask Milo.

Ailey just shook her head. It seems he was lazy to answer the same question. His phone suddenly shook and he saw a message coming in from Kevin.

“Says he can't pick me up because there's still business in the office.” Ailey said as she read the message.

“Ya. I'll drive you home, yeah.” Milo made an offer.

“No need. Just bother you.” Reject Ailey.

“Not to hesitate, like a stranger. Come!”

From a distance, Kevin was holding his phone. He watches Ailey from a hidden corner of the building. He saw the woman walking lethargicly with Milo towards the parking lot. His face looked sad because he had lied to her.

On the way home, Ailey sat daydreaming in the passenger seat. His eyes glared at the mobile phone that was above his thighs. Milo felt that something was wrong with the woman.

“Why are you so weak today? What are you thinking?” Ask Milo curiously.

Ailey let out a long sigh, “Today there is a different on Kevin.”

“Different why?”

“Typically he always sends messages with an enthusiastic story. But his message today is just a quick message.”

“You're fighting?” Milo asked.

“No. Last night we had dinner with his parents and everything went well. That's why I'm confused by his attitude today.” Obviously Ailey.

Holding the steering wheel, Milo tries to see what is going on through his angelic powers. Visual pieces are so vividly visible that they show the true events that Ailey did not know after dinner yesterday. Ailey who noticed the blank look in the angel's eyes immediately shook her arm that was holding the wheel.

“Hey, you don't be dumb! Dangerous on a crowded street like this.” Ailey's bickering disrupts Milo's vision.

“Ah, sorry. I keep my eyes on the road ahead, kok.” The reply.

“Oh, yes. You can definitely use your power to figure out what is really going on. Please, help me!” Rajuk Ailey's.

“No want! I will be exhausted if I use my strength. You better ask him directly.” Milo said evasive.

“Ah, it's free to have an angel friend like you! Sebal!” Ailey was upset.

Milo deliberately does not want to tell Ailey his vision. If he knew, he would be very sad and disappointed that Kevin's parents did not approve of their relationship. Therefore, he kept it tight and refused Ailey's request.

“Maybe I was too overthinking. He must have been busy today. Yeah, he must be busy!” Ailey muttered trying to validate her own thinking.

As soon as the clock struck at 12pm, Abram employees flocked out for lunch, including the receptionist. Seeing that opportunity, Milo barged in to look for Kevin who had not appeared before him. He walked down the hallway to find the CEO's room. In the end, he found Kevin daydreaming inside a fairly large room.

“So this is how you treat Ailey?” Milo asked without further ado as he entered the room.

“Milo?” Kevin was suddenly shocked to see the owner of the Engelskraft barge into his room. “What are you doing here?”

“Jawab only my question! Why are you treating Ailey in such a cowardly way?” His embrace while grabbing the CEO's collar to make him stand from his lazy chair.

“Hey, hey! How rough!”

“Jawab!!” Shouted Milo while pushing Kevin to fall on his chair.

The CEO showed an unhappy face while fixing his messy collar.  He set his breath not to ignite the quarrel in his office.

“You don't have to interfere. What do you know about both of us?” Kevin asked in confrontation.

“I know everything! If you really prefer this company to Ailey, you better step down. Don't hurt that woman!”

“You know where it is from? Ahhh, that's not important! Get out of my room now!” Kevin orders with his voice out loud.

“Be a gentle man! If you really want to get away from Ailey, tell her straight away! Don't make him guess himself!” Obviously Milo.

“Out!” Shouted Kevin could not stand it anymore as he moved out of his chair. “You don't understand what I'm going through and feeling. No need to teach me as if you were the smartest.”

“I do not understand the way of thinking of a lowly human like you.”

Bruk!

Kevin's fist landed on the angel's face, causing him to fall. It ignited the flames of Milo's anger even more. Without a second thought, Milo hit back at the CEO and there was a fistfight to attract the attention of the employees who were there. Punch after punch is launched alternately. The employee who was disturbed by the commotion immediately broke inside and tried to break them both.

Kevin and Milo sit next to each other while treating their respective wounds with the red medicine provided by Abram's employees. Inside the huge CEO room, the silence made the entire room feel very empty.

“Milo..” Kevin breaks the silence.

Milo who was still upset at him from the blows that caused the bruises on his face could only turn his head towards that CEO without retaliating.

“Ailey's body for me.” Connect Kevin.

“I'll take care of it without you telling me.” Said Milo with a ketus.

“Maybe I'm a coward. But one thing you need to know, my feelings for Ailey are really sincere.”

“Really?” Milo asked doubtfully.

“Let me solve my problem first. So, until everything is in order, please replace me to take care of her because I don't want to bring Ailey into my complicated troubles.” Said Kevin in a soft voice.

The two men did not look at each other due to prestige. Although Milo does not reply to his words, even though Kevin does not see what Milo looks like when he hears it, Kevin knows that Milo can be trusted to take care of the woman he loves. Silence happened again in the room. Then, the two of them went back to treating the bruises that were on each other's faces without saying a single word.
