Engelskraft: Love of Wasted Angels

Engelskraft: Love of Wasted Angels
Conscience Debate

The phone alarm woke Ailey up in the morning. She took a shower and prepared to go to work. Three months have passed since he first worked at Abram. This made him already familiar with the daily routine as an SPG there. Several times he had doubted himself whether he could go through probation because of the negative sentiments given by his superiors. However, who would have thought that a small employee like Ailey was able to survive through many difficulties in his place of work until finally officially became a contract employee at Abram Electronics.

While putting together a positive aura in her heart, Ailey set foot out of her boarding house. As if seeing a ghost, he was aghast to find his CEO standing before him. Right in front of the door of the building.

“Pak Kevin?” Ailey's shocked.

“Hai.” Awkward sweep.

“Bapak why here?” Ailey asked as she dragged the man away from the boarding house.

“Oh, why? I want to take you to Abram City Mall. Hehehe.” Answer Kevin shyly.

“Where do you know my address?” Ailey.

“Easy once, I have access to the company personnel system.” The answer without hesitation. “Surprise!”

“What a surprise, anyway. Thank you but I can leave by myself.”

“Hey, don't be! I'm tired of coming here to pick you up. Four times stray because of wrong entry alley, you do not pity?” Kevin said reasoned.

“Pak, I never asked Dad to pick me up. Besides what people say later if they know you go to a village like this.” Reply Ailey.

“Consider this to return my failed promise back then to drive you home. No need to hesitate.”

Ailey was silent for a moment. He remembered that time Kevin had wanted to drive him home. But because there was a sudden phone call that required the man to leave, Ailey was canceled delivered home by her luxury sports car.

“If Bu Lina knows how? I'm not good, Mr.” Ailey said worriedly.

“No need to worry. As long as you don't tell him, everything will be fine.” Answer Kevin casually.

“But he's your fiancee, you know. The answer of the Father seemed to put me as an affair. Scary!” Ailey responded while hugging both of her arms giving off an impression of disdain.

“Wah, a female ge-er like you is indeed annoying. I'm just being nice to my own employees.” His kill.

“Yakin? Have you ever invited Siti?” Ailey said as she furrowed her brows.

Kevin only retorted by shrugging his shoulders slightly while beating his gaze in the other direction. Truly a prankster, deliberately giving ambiguous code that can make others misrepresent.

Kevin sighed and smiled slightly, “Women in general will never refuse my invitation. You are different, yes. Tell you what, I'll keep dropping you off because I'm already here. So that there is no discomfort with other employees, I will drop you at the nearest red light from mall.”

“Are all CEOs the same as you, always doing a lot of things, sir? Hahaha.” Timpal Ailey laughing. He did not expect Kevin would provide such an easy solution without the slightest strange taste.

“Alright, today only, yes. By the way Where's Dad's car?” Ailey asked.

"I parked on the side of the road. I don't dare to go inside the alley, afraid of blisters.” Answer Kevin.

The morning weather was quite sunny, coupled with two young people who responded to each other's presence with flowering hearts. To be honest, Ailey intends to avoid Kevin from having misunderstandings with his superiors. However, the sudden appearance of the CEO seems to make the woman's heart melt. Ailey realizes that her CEO's behavior is unnatural given to an ordinary employee like her. But what power, it seems that he also enjoyed his moments together with Kevin.

The radio broadcast from Kevin's luxury car sounded very clear due to the reliable head unit and subwoofer in his class. Accompanied by a romantic song played by a radio DJ makes the two sitting next to each other look nervous.

“The radio announcer why play music like this, anyway? Should be a vibrant music in the morning.” Kevin said as he held the wheel.

“Replace only, Sir of the complaint continues.” Typhoon Ailey.

Deftly, Kevin immediately moved the radio channel. Several times changing the broadcast, the song played is still about romance. It seems that Kevin is getting upset and finally letting romantic songs play out in his car. Ailey, who noticed her boss' nervous behavior, immediately turned her face towards the window to hide her laughter.

Suddenly the alarm from Ailey's phone goes off and breaks the awkward atmosphere of the two. Ailey who just remembered that her medication hours had changed immediately turned off the alarm in panic. As a result of yesterday's forgetting to take medication at the right time, Ailey had to adjust her medication hours slowly in order to return to the usual time.

“Should there be a phone you did not pick up?” Asked Kevin who did not realize that the loud voice was the sound of an alarm.

"No, Sir. That's my phone alarm.” Obviously Ailey.

“Alarm? Do you usually wake up at this time? Gawat also has employees who like to wake up during the day.” Tempt Kevin while laughing.

Ailey was silent at the CEO's joke. He was busy thinking about how to take the medicine without Kevin knowing. If the man finds out that Ailey is HIV, he could be kicked out of his company that very second. Like being powered by the universe, a beggar approaches Kevin's car, which is stopped by a red light. Ailey sees an opportunity to take medicine as soon as Kevin serves the beggar who is begging next to him. Because of his panic, Ailey accidentally dropped a single item of medicine into the passenger seat he occupied. Worse, he did not realize that there was a drug that fell on his boss' car.

“I drop you here only, yes. It's okay, right?” Kevin asked as soon as he reached the nearest red light from Abram City Mall.

“Yes, it's okay, sir. Thank you very much, yes.” Ailey said as she opened the passenger door. Before closing the door, Ailey reminded me not to pick her up, "Next time don't pick me up again, yeah. You know how scary Bu Lina.” is Connect Ailey while closing the door afterwards.

Abram's CEO smiled as he watched the employee run away from his car. He watched closely the figure behind Ailey who looked frail but full of spirit. His heart was pounding so much that it caused a question mark. What feeling was in his chest? In his heart he insisted on denying that it was a feeling of love. He still uses his logic that the glory of his company is the number one. There was no way he would like an ordinary employee who would not bring the slightest profit to his business.

“What, the hell am I thinking? It would be stupid if I liked a woman like that.” He muttered while stepping on the gas pedal.
