The full moon adorns the night sky. The boisterous visitors of the mall began to dim. Cars and motorcycles began to fill the exit queue. Ailey who was standing in the lobby of the mall looked nervous as she looked around. It seems that he was uncomfortable at his boss's call home this morning.
“You sure Mr Kevin will drive you home?” Ask Siti who is next to him.
“Entahlah. He told me to wait in the lobby after work.” Answer Ailey.
“Abiz once. Never once did our CEO drive the store clerk home. Does she not like you?” Goda Siti's.
“Do not talk carelessly! Bu Lina could kill me later.” Ailey said in a panic.
“Hehehe. It could be ‘kan like Korean dramas. A CEO falls in love with his commoner employees.” Bisik Siti flirtatious.
“You'd better go home! Don't make me groggy like this!”
“Hmm. Looks like there's another guy waiting for you too.” Siti said as she pointed behind Ailey.
Ailey who was curious about Siti's words immediately looked back. Unexpectedly, Milo smiled at him as he walked over.
“Will go home, huh?” Ask Milo.
Siti who suspects a potential romance elbowed Ailey's arm hard. “So this is the owner of Engelskraft you told me about? Good too.”
“Sssst!” Ailey nudges Siti back to stop her mischief.
“What's up, here whispers?” Milo asked curiously.
“Nothing. I go home first, yeah. Greetings, Mr. Milo.” Siti said as she left the two of them with her naughty smile.
“Who is he?” Ask Milo.
“My coworkers, Siti. Hehehe.” Ailey replied while scratching her head due to misbehavior.
“You haven't come home?” Milo asked.
“Eh, anu... that..” Ailey replied stammeringly.
“Wah, you're waiting for me, huh? Just know that I'm going to the cafe today.” Milo replied confidently.
“Hey, you are always so confident, yes!” Typhoon Ailey.
“You want me to take you home?” Milo asked, switching the conversation.
“Actually, i..”.
Ailey did not answer. The sound of the car horn was heard calling out to him. Ailey who was shocked to hear him was instantly distracted by the loud voice.
“Hai, Ailey! Sorry for waiting so long. Yuk, I'm intermin!” Kevin from his fancy car.
Kevin and Milo were staring at each other. The atmosphere that night was getting colder. Like two predators facing each other, a sense of discomfort perched on Ailey's body.
“Anu, I go home first, yes Milo.” Ailey said slowly.
“Oh, so you waited for CEO Abram to pick you up, huh? Though flying with me is much faster than his car.” Milo was upset.
“Don't start again with your angel stories!”
Just a step Ailey towards Kevin's car, Milo clasped Ailey's wrist to hold her back.
“Ailey come home with me.” Milo said firmly to Kevin.
Milo's words sounded like a threat in Kevin's ear. Annoyed, Kevin got out of his car and shut the door pretty hard. He showed his frustration.
“I made an appointment with him to drive him home. Go, Ailey!” Reply Kevin while holding Ailey's other hand.
Ailey, who was between the two men, seemed confused to see the behavior of those who were fighting over it. He could feel the tension going on between Milo and Kevin. They looked at each other sharply without flinching at all as if they were defending their respective egos.
“Let go of his hand, you made him sick!” Reprove Kevin.
“Hey, you're holding it too tight. It is impolite to treat your own employees.” Reply Milo.
“You two are why, anyway? Release my hand! Pain know!” Ailey protested while shaking both hands.
“Sorry!” Excited Kevin and Milo simultaneously while releasing their respective grasp. It seemed that they were too focused on arguing to forget about regulating the strength of their grip.
“It is not appropriate for you to treat women like this. How outrageous!” The protest, “Beginning with it, I already agreed to Mr. Kevin's offer so I'll go home with him. Milo, you should also go home soon.”
Kevin seemed satisfied to hear Ailey's reply. He looked at Milo with a look of disdain. Her spirit was truly like a child who had just defeated her friend in a race. Milo who realized the meaning of Kevin's gaze immediately threw his face and turned to Ailey.
“Alright, you be careful on the road. Don't let him beg you for something like when he begged me to collaborate with Engelskraft. It was so annoying!” Milo intentionally.
“Hey, be careful when talking!” Kevin who heard the cynical talk.
“Already, you guys are like little kids! Hopefully after tonight's incident, Abram and Engelskraft's cooperation can still go well.” Ailey sighed while shaking her head.
Kevin's cell phone suddenly goes off to interrupt the small quarrel that was going on between the three of them. He gestured to let her pick up the phone.
“You're sure to go home with your boss?” Milo asked making sure in the middle of Kevin who was receiving the phone.
“I've already rejected him but he insisted to keep dropping off. However he is the CEO of the company I work for, I do not feel good if I refuse him continue.” Ailey whispered.
“Going home with me will be much more fun and of course quickly to the destination. You sure you don't want to fly with me?” Milo made sure.
“Stop that angel of yours! Not at all funny.” Reply Ailey.
“Ailey, sorry it seems I can't accompany you home. I have important business. Again I'm sorry.” Said Kevin after receiving the important call.
“Oh, it's okay, sir. I can go home by myself.” Answer Ailey's relieved.
“Then I go first, yes. You be careful on the road.” Kevin said as he entered his luxury car and passed from Ailey's presence.
“What kind of man cancels his own invitation to a woman.” Milo sounded annoyed.
“Better this way, so I don't have to be awkward with the car. I'll go home first, yeah. You also come home, it's night.” Ailey.
“You should come home with me. I'll prove to you that I'm really an angel.” Reply Kevin in a stern voice while looking around to make sure there was no one else but the two of them.
“You want to know when you're doing that, anyway? I'm going home now! Please be engrossed in your own imagination.” Typhoon Ailey.
A bright light suddenly radiated from Milo's body. The dazzling light made Ailey unable to see clearly. But faintly, he heard the sound of the flapping of bird wings. But the sound was different, much louder than the flapping of a bird's wings. Gradually the bright light that surrounded Milo began to dim. Ailey's vision began to return clearly. In front of him, he saw Milo standing full of prestige with dull white wings that stretched majestic. The scenery was so charming that Ailey was stunned and could not say anything. Milo is an angel.
