Dion twisted my body so we faced each other. Her sweetest smile was perfect. "Darling, Dion and Rosa will always be happy, together, forever. I love you," he said, kissing my forehead soft and full of love.

It was a part of my past that I deliberately lifted into the novel in memory of a story-filled youth.
