Dion PoV's
Rianti's phone has been going on for more than five minutes. But there are no signs of it closing soon. My focus is not on time, but on Kristy's serious expression that refracts both surprise and heightened anxiety.
"I can't decide for myself, Ri. Later I talk to Masku, yes," said Kristy who increasingly curious me. The mention of Mas in that sentence I'm sure refers to me. So I made sure they were talking about something related to my wife. And Rud was a figure that was sure to be the main character, given who Rianti was.
My thought of guessing their conversation left me a little daydreaming and unaware that the phone was over. The clap on my shoulder resuscitated me. Apparently Aryan did it because Kristy called me many times but I didn't respond at all.
"What's wrong?" tanyaku.
"Tadi Rianti said that ...," Kristy paused her sentence.
Aryan who realized the situation immediately decided to move places but I held back. I want him to hear it too. To me, Aryan is my best friend and my brother, who is my heart's advisor.
"Here, just. We are family" I said with a smile.
Aryan who was already standing finally sat back down. I turned my eyes back on Kristy. My cue was captured well. He began to prepare to explain the news he had just heard. Deheman's voice came out of his mouth. Let out groggy creeping and replace with tranquility.
"Did I already know how Mas Rud is doing?" Kristy asked very carefully.
"Hm," I muttered.
"Rianti asked, can Sister Rosa meet Mas Rud just once?" Kristy is carefully choosing her words.
I had expected that a question like this would reach my ears. Sooner or later it's just a matter of time. And that's a sign that I have to be prepared if you hear it, I don't know from anyone else. Preparing for answers, that's what I have to do. Reason, behind me keeping all this a secret.
My preparation should be more than that. I have to prepare myself for you to leave if you choose to be around him when he's like this. Yes ... preparation for getting hurt yourself.
"Why did Rosa meet Rud?" sidelines Aryan with his question.
"I haven't told you, Rud amnesia. All I remember is Rosa" I briefly told Aryan, who knew of Rud's abduction but was unaware of his condition after being released by Mr. Alex and his men.
The calm that Aryan used to master this time was like a little distracted. His face showed an easily readable shock. Deheman, that was also what he did to regain control. Same thing Kristy did.
"Did Rosa know about this?" ask Aryan first.
"I haven't told him yet" I explained with a long sigh.
"After yesterday's abduction issue, did Rosa take a stance on your relationship?"
Aryan can read our secrets. I finally told you that there was a promise made by you to no longer see Rud even if it was the last day his breath blew. A beautiful promise spoken without you knowing how Rud is now. Falling in the wrong memory, which I believe will carry your promise to me, if only you knew.
"Rosa has taken a stand, now is the time to prove what she said. If he still chooses with you, it means that you are a match. But if he can't afford to leave Rud, you should also be heartened. There is no point in forcing love" Aryan said very wisely.
"I've taken something very precious from him, can I still just let him go?" I ask myself while I am restoring my hair full of anxiety.
"Would if you insisted on staying in the relationship you would be okay? Did the three of you not hurt each other?" cerca Aryan is making me more upset.
"Unless Rosa chooses to stay, then you have to find a way for Rud to stop fighting" Aryan said, patting me on the shoulder.
Should I take you away from Rud? What Kristy said was right, when Rud disappeared without news, our days were fun. But when he came back, it was hard. I thought you just needed time to forget it. So, should we go and come back someday?
"You don't worry, we'll be fine, all right. I'm gonna find the best way not to hurt everyone" I tried hard to make them sure it wasn't a big deal to me.
"The happy path, for Mas Dion and Mbak Rosa," Kristy said with a smile.
"Happy walk together for Dion and Rosa" Aryan completes Kristy's sentence.
I am happy to see them smiling. Even in that smile there was worry. My problem is let me feel the weight. No need to involve a lot of people. Because of this love, I'm the one who started, sweet or bitter, and I'll bear it all myself.
"Kris, Mama's still a long time, isn't she? I think we've been going back this, I didn't say goodbye to your mother," I said next after seeing the clock on my wrist that had shown the clock nine past.
"Mama if you have talked with him or like to forget time, Mas. If you want to go back now, no 'pa 'pa, I'll pay to Mama, '" replied Kristy who then followed her advice.
Rushing home, it's not really that you're looking for me but that I want to rest my mind.
Especially by riding Aryan's car as a passenger, I tried to close my eyes when the car began to walk.
"What do you sleep with?" aryan asked when he saw me massaging my temples in closed eyes.
I don't intend to answer the question. But Aryan's not his name if he just gives up. He has a thousand ways to make me talk. Including ways of intrigue-filled fishing.
"Don't worry, if Rosa chooses Rud, you've won a lot. Status remains virgin but has already unsealed her. Isn't that an advantage?"
"You think I married the series she made a fortune?" Can marry her it's a fortune not an advantage" I grumbled.
"If you feel lucky, don't let go of your luck. There is not necessarily luck for the second time" Aryan explained while focusing on driving.
"I was the second chance in his heart. The first was Rud," I honestly recalled how I came back after deciding to leave your side.
"You mean?" Aryan started to pry my story.
"Rosa and I are a long story that takes time to tell" I explained, staring at the road ahead. Equally long, only the difference is this path is straight while my love path is winding.
"I made time all night to listen to your story" Aryan explained with a smile.
"Why should I tell you?" ask next.
Aryan lowered both eyebrows. "Because I am a substitute advisor to your heart. So I have to know the details of your story so as not to give any advice wrong. Aye, right?" aryan's reason for getting my approval.
"Hm" I replied with a mutter.
"okay! We'll be telling stories all night" Aryan assured.
"Hm," again I only reply with a murmur.
Aryan smiled. My murmur was considered approval. I don't mind doing it either. Maybe telling her would be more lightening and there's a way out. Holding your own is not the best way.
