About the Heart

About the Heart
Padlocked Black Box

This is my first morning as a real wife. Wake up early and prepare breakfast. When the time has shown at 07:00 all breakfast is on the table. Dion, who looked neat in his work suit, was already sitting at the dining table with an endless smile spread.

"What's this gonna do for my first breakfast, honey?" dion asked after gulping down the water I had prepared.

"Sorry, yes, I just missed the food that Mama brought last night. Or do you want to have breakfast on bread, all right?" bargain after admitting I didn't cook this morning.

"What can I eat, I can eat" said Dion, flipping the plate in front of him.

I immediately took the plate in Dion's hand and took the rice with a sufficient portion. " What side dishes do you want?" I ask to make sure because there are many types of dishes that Mama brought last night.

"Fried chicken, do not forget the breakfast and the sauce, yes, Yang," Dion explained in full.

"Mas, don't you watch your meal?" I wonder because the food is good but the body is good.

Dion smiled at my question. "Body body does not mean not to eat, let alone the food of my dear wife.

"Why are you always sweet, anyway? I'll love you more" I'm shy.

"My sweetness is always to make you fall in love with me" she wrote as she continued eating.

"You, it works" I stood up and hugged her from behind. I leaned my chin on his shoulder and began to spoil.

"Want me a bribe? Why don't you eat but hug me, honey?" dion asked as he twisted his body and pulled me into his lap.

I put both of my arms behind her neck. "Kangen."

"I haven't even left yet but you're missing. I'm home for lunch, honey. We will go to the boutique to make clothes fittings," said Dion to loosen the longing that has been holding me.

"Okay, I don't know either. Why don't I want to be separated from you" I'm afraid.

"It looks like you've hit my pellet" Dion said, chuckling.

"So, you've been beating me all this time?" I can't forget you for a second. Your face is always imagined, your smile is always charming even your jealousy I miss," I said as I stared fixedly at Dion.

Dion stuck out his tongue. "Now, I'm a pellet."

"Huft .. basic," I grumbled.

Dion finished his meal and went back to gulping water. "I can work, can't I?"

If asked that, I would like to answer no. Don't go anywhere! Stay here, by my side all the time. But not that love is not just spending time together but there is also time for others, working for example. It will be full if you only eat love. You have to be realistic, Rosa. Matrelah, little!

Haisty!

Whisper what else, this? Did the demon of credit start looking for prey? MLM businesses are mushrooming everywhere. Ah .. I don't know, obviously the money can not only snare favors but also sometimes become a curse.

"You've got to work hard, honey. It must even be harder, is not the cost of living three, four, five, ber... it is more expensive than the cost of living together?" godaku stroking the stomach.

Dion also placed his palm on the palm of my hand which was caressing the spoiled belly of my queen. "Is there Dion's junior in there, honey?"

"Maybe, considering every season you always ...," I said deliberately not forward the sentence. I took off one arm that was still wrapped around his neck. He moved out of his lap and took his right hand. I kissed the back of the hand and turned the smile. "Step, Honey. Be careful on the road!

"The song is Rita Sugiarto" Dion said as she kissed me on the forehead.

"Even dangdut, you know that?" many wonder.

"I know, only one I don't know. Why did you reject me for ten years?" satir Dion with a smile.

"I'll drive you forward, okay?" I asked as I carried Dion's briefcase, ignoring the question that I didn't really know what to answer.

Dion answered him with a gentle swipe at the top of my head. He grabbed me and walked hand in hand to the apartment door. Taking her black-colored bag out of my hand and then waving, leaving. I stared at his departure until he disappeared behind the elevator door.

My flat thing is also quiet. There is no WA or notification that is usually intermittent alternating. Trying to open the sosmed, it makes no difference. "Tumben, is it because it's Monday?"

I decided to leave the apartment. I want to breathe fresh air. Feel the shade dwell under the trees by tasting snacks from the brother of the cart that was running. I headed to a crowded apartment park with people passing by. Sitting on a bench while waiting for orders, a portion of seblak super spicy.

"Why alone? Where's husband?" ask a voice from beside me.

That familiar voice in my ear made me turn my head without a second thought. His figure that I had forgotten suddenly appeared again. This time without a piercing but softer cold gaze though still unlike the gaze that used to make me deja vu.

I can also control myself. The feeling I had drowned out seemed to no longer float. It remains unsettled and unraveled. "My husband makes a living."

"Of course, he already has a dependant to support you," he explained with his back leaning and both hands folded on his chest.

I stood up, intending to leave him. It wouldn't be nice to be alone with your ex even in a crowded place and it's a coincidence. Really coincidental? Yes, but I don't know for him.

"Don't go! I'm not gonna bother you. I was just waiting for my food that I was ordering, too" he said, eventually making me sit back.

It's no use to avoid it always. It would only make him think if I still wanted it when it wasn't true. I'm not the Rosa that was in Jogja yesterday. Rosa chooses between the past and the future. The choices I've made won't keep me haunted by the past.

"Congratulations to your wedding!" he said with a smile that did not show fine lines in both corners of his eyes, it means not a smile that is created happy.

I looked at the distance not wanting to see him. "Thank you, Mom." That's all, there's no other frills I want to say. Exactly what I can tell you.

"Sorry, I can only give you this. The promise I had to keep," Mas Rud handed him a plain black box that was padlocked without any keys he handed over.

"What's this?" I was curious because of the words he said.

"Keep it, the key is on me!" mas Rud ordered while standing up and walking away just like that.

I looked at the back that was getting away from it. What other puzzles he was playing. His attitude was made ordinary but it made me wonder even more. His steps sure make me sure that he won't come back even if I call. I looked at the box in my hand.

"What, this?"

*****

My eyes were still glued to the black box. "The Promise I Need to keep", that sentence was like keeping something very deep. Unfortunately I forgot the story behind that sentence. I'm sure that when we were together, there was a joke that was born as a nadzar. But it could not be stored in my memory that only focused on the sweetness of love that turned into the pain of the wound.

Ddrrtt-ddrrtt-drr!

My vibrating phone distracted my mind who was looking for an answer to a riddle. The name of Dion was his caller. Dion's? Shouldn't that name have changed? Either my sweety, My Honey or my other.

"Hi, ma'am," said Dion sweetly with her sweetest smile.

"When are you home?" ask me not to respond to his greeting.

"Before lunch I'm home, you get ready, yeah! We'll leave immediately" said Dion sweetly.

"Well, an hour before Mas comes home I'm ready. Now you're gonna lay it down, ah. Take a day off" I promised a smile before the phone turned off.

The car stopped in front of a shop. I spelled the name of this boutique slowly to make sure that I had visited this place twice. Yes ... This is the boutique where I and Mas Rud once bought a couple kebaya for the engagement of Tria and Rio. There is a little taste of the past that can spin memories. I'm quick to step aside so I don't get back stuck with the love I've written off.

"Here you are?" dion asked after seeing me endlessly reading the nameplate printed on the boutique's name.

Just a little nod I gave. And that already answers the question.

Dion removed his seat-bealt but did not immediately get out of the car. "You're coming in, aren't you, 'yes?"

I got a little gift for that question. Immediately breaking free from the seat belt, I preceded Dion out of the car. "Come on!"
