Part 39's. Hongkong 6

“This is only 300 meters above sea level, you will not get a volcanic crater, only a hill 300 meters.” Derrick told me the facts. Apparently so, I thought there was a trail thousands of meters above but it turned out to be 300 meters.

“This trail version Hongkong Aunt Tata. Papa I want to go back to Indonesia again. Why am I so busy with lessons.” I laughed at his complaint.

“How was your holiday?” Ko Derrick asked me.

“Tante Yun took me for a walk and a three-day meal, I think my scales have gone up five kilos in these three days, I really need this hiking.” It's their turn to laugh now.

“If you don't ride the scales you don't go to Hongkong Aunt.”

We arrived at Shek-O beach, then down the road to the hiking trail, 20 minutes or so, he said, we will arrive at Shek O Peninsula Viewing Point with views of Shek O Beach in the foothills, as well as two islands after Shek O Peninsula. Sure enough Cecilia said, Derrick left us and hiked quickly to the first stop. While me and Cecilia let him walk himself ahead of there.

“Why have you never been with Papa before Aunt.”

“Oh, Aunty just met Papa not long ago, actually Aunt also worked on Papa company ads in Jakarta.”

“Reacted so.”

“What Aunty and Papa are dating?”

“Ohh, no.”

“Really? I thought yes?” Interesting, why would she deny me a date with her Papa.

“Why do you think we're dating.” I can't bear not asking.

“So, I used to ask Papa if he didn't remarry like my mom, I pity him, I've had a girlfriend since I was 14, but he never introduced anyone to me. I think Papa and Aunt are dating, just this time he invited someone to go hiking and go together.”

“We're just friends, your dad has helped a lot. Aunty refers to him as Koko.”

“Tante doesn't like Papa, he's handsome isn't he..” I'm not right now. Cecilia is apparently being marketing her Papa.

“You're handsome of course. But at our age, I think it takes more than just being handsome and beautiful to say something, a lot of consideration, a lot we've been through.”

“It sounds very complicated Aunt.”

“Complicated light.” I smile.

“Maybe I'll experience it too like you guys, I've broken up twice, it's complicated. It feels very miserable.” I smiled in response.

“You're going to college in USA, did you decide on your current boyfriend?”

“Yes, I think that long distance relationship is a bit impossible. We're young, if we have a destiny, maybe we'll meet again. Mama also said so, dating at a young age just to mess around and get to know people.”

“It's true of course. Believe me, it's better to pursue your career and dreams first, ... Many more to come.”

“Now, maybe in the future Cecilia, Auntie doesn't know, let the fate of the soul mate god decide, but for now we're just good friends. Oke”

“You like Papa not Aunty?” I laughed and decided not to answer...

“Already, let's follow your Papa. He'll say we both walk slower than turtles.”

The view is good, though, with a road that is not too difficult you can get a view of the entire region and the peninsula once you get to the bridge at the end of the Peak Shek O Peak (284 m) is the best place to see the panorama of the line hongkong Island peninsula coast. My heart is also happy, because as I thought it turns out Cecilia never opposed her Papa to have a companion.

“You two are indeed turtles. Slow down once.” Ko Derrick ruffled around waiting for us at the second stop.

“This is not Papa's treadmill. Aunty let's take a photo here,..” We ignored him and talked alone. Ko Derrick shakes his head when he sees us taking another picture. But let it be

We continued walking down the back of the dragon looking at the beautiful scenery of Tai Tam Bay to the west of Shek O Peninsula. On a clear day, Lamma Island in southwestern Hong Kong Island is visible from the deck. After going through the ridge, we arrived at Pottinger Gap. Here we will see the high-rise buildings of Chai Wan with a wooded landscape. This trip spoils the eyes as well.

And finally we arrived at Big Wave Bay, with its white sand. The exhausting journey was finally over. The sky and the white beach became a witness to our friendship.

I feel happy, it's a worthwhile trip for me, seeing Ko Derrick get into the sea water and just wearing his knee-length hiking pants makes my eyes too glare. How these aki-aki have such a nice case, let alone me the women here have all been bewitched by it.

“Do you show off intentionally, you're looking for a date here, why sit next to me?” She sat beside me topless in the sand while Cecilia was still in the water.She grimaced funny looking at me. “Is there anything funny?”

“You and Cecilia seem to be a perfect fit apparently?”

“We are both women, women have a lot to talk about from tip to toe.”

“So?”

“Iya, it is so.” He stood still and looked towards the beach. I don't know what's on his mind, I can't guess. I just stole a look into his field chest. It hurts the eyes too much not to see.

“Not get into water?” Damn it he caught me glancing at him.

“Later, still cape...” I was sitting under the umbrella of the beach we rented.

“Now only,..” He's pulling my hand now.

“Hei Ko!”

“This is Tata beach, you are not at all exciting, let's go to the water!”

The sun's still hot, I think my skin is charred by now. But the next splash of water made me scream in shock because he accidentally splashed it on me. Now that I'm soaking wet, he's laughing. I looked at it with annoyance, before long I was forced to join Cecilia sitting in the shallow water.

I was happy that day, very happy.
