PRISONER OF LOVE LOVE THE WIDOWER

PRISONER OF LOVE LOVE THE WIDOWER
SEASON 5 part 12. Colin Knight's

Two weeks later I was standing in an exclusive club that could only be entered with a special member registration in Manhattan, this club specifically held a business luncheon, he said, business lunches for business people to exchange networks.

For a while I was able to gain access to it, and I was on assignment this time. Not a dangerous task, Kelly just wanted me to make sure that someone showed up at a meeting and I took a picture of him secretly with a special camera disguised as a watch.

It was finished easily.

But then I saw someone I knew as Colin Knight there. He used to come near me, but I ignored him, he joined the person who was my target. My target this time is an old man named Sam Lynch, I don't know who he is but if he gets on the wanted list it means he has a problem of course.

Leave it alone, I don't want to find trouble. Unfortunately the problem still occurs.

"Julie." Colin called me when I was just about to take my friend away. This Colin is my brother's friend. It's only been two years different with me. She was actually nice, my sister said she was a trustworthy person, only I was too lazy with the term dating back then. I enjoy dating in my own world.

"Ohh Colin, what a coincidence that you're here." He smiled to see me. I know he's put his heart on for a long time, but in the five years since breaking up with Gary my life has felt like a fast train track, my only vision forward has not had time to look at him.

"You're in NY apparently."His voice and face were calm, he was a serious person, I talked to him several times when he used to come to our house. A typical person who thinks things through has just spoken.

"Yes, there's a brand photo shoot and someone wants a new partnership here."

"Look at your restaurant in Manhattan, it's bustling, your investment is growing well."

"Yes, it seems to be handled by the right person."

"With colleagues?"

"Yes, but I'll be back soon."

"Want dinner with me?" I doubt it, but maybe not bad either. Maybe I should give myself a chance. He's handsome after all.

"alright. When?"

"Whatever, I'll follow your schedule." This time he smiled. Just this time I agreed to dinner. "You live on Warren Street, don't you?"

"You ever been there?"

"Frequently." Looks like he and brother won best friend.

"Tomorrow okay."

"Pick up at 7?"

"Yes, okay."

"alright. I'll be down at 7." I want to smile with enthusiasm.

"Ehm, I go first okay. I still have something to do. I'll see you tomorrow." It's awkward, I've known him for a long time as Big Brother's best friend, feeling expected like this isn't nice.

"Yes. Careful." I went away feeling noticed from behind.

I actually wanted to see Louis, he made me curious. I haven't had time to call him because of the busy work schedule, there's no way I'd accidentally come to his office even if I knew.

Now on my trip to the photo studio I called him, it's still lunchtime anyway.

"Julie."

"Hi." I was suddenly confused as to what to say.

"Why did you call?" His response was flat and formal, making me squeak first.

"Ohh I'm in NY. Just asking how you are. Are you busy?"

"good. Not at the moment I guess. It's lunchtime."

"Ehm, want to have dinner with me." Now he is silent thinking of my invitation. I acted first. "I agree to your dinner call 2x, at least you'll return the favor. Don't don't be so mean to me, I'll pay." He's laughing a little now.

"And you're doing a calculation once."

"I'm just bidding on 2x dinner debt." I don't know why I want to do this, I think I'm crazy. But wanting to see her again made me too brave.

"What you're expecting is actually Julie.".

"Nothing." I don't know what I expect from him. "I just want to talk to you. Is that wrong."

"Well, when?"

"I'll be here until the end of the month. What this weekend can be, Saturday night."

"Well, we'll meet where you want."

"Okay I'll send you the place later."

"All right, Saturday night." With that I made an appointment with Louis again.

If Thomas and Kelly knew I'd be talked to at length about this.

"Oh, did he report to you?" My second brother, Adam Harris, is the closest brother to me. He highly recommended his friend.

"Of course, she should report to me if she asks you out."

"It wasn't a date, it was just dinner. Don't think shit."

"At least I know you've been approached by someone I can trust. He's a good guy Julie, only he's overworked for his business, also had experience several times not with the wrong woman, just like you. But now it seems that he is already at a stable stage and has more free time."

"Adam, you're very happy to promote your friend. You're calling just for this, or do you have any other business?"

"Dirty sister, I hear you're making trouble in Tokyo?"

"What problems did I do in Tokyo?"

"Someone says you're having trouble with Mark Ivanir, Julie you should know he's not easy to deal with, why are you having trouble with that kind of person." I told him what he was doing, starting from giving me gifts, suddenly I knew he was a hotel with me and forced to hold my hand.

"Can't you just avoid him, he's a guy who plays in the politics of people like that pretty hard to deal with?"

"Adam, take it easy, he'll accept big trouble later. You don't have to worry. He won't have time to take care of me anymore. You think he doesn't often look for trouble with people, his enemies are a lot out there." If he knew what kind of problems I had and who I was involved with.

"You mean how?"

"Here you go, let's just say I have some good intel. Don't worry about Mark Ivanir, in a few days he'll be done. Trust me."

"All right, I hope you're right. In addition to you, be nice to Colin."

"You on your sister's side or your friend's side? You have to choose one."

"You two will later why should I choose one. Happy dating." I have to grimace at hearing him talk.

If you'd say I'd rather have a meeting with Louis than Colin. What's wrong with me.

At 7 I went down to the lobby, Colin was there sitting waiting. He looks handsome as always, in his casual suit and in a dark t-shirt, it seems he's a man who pays attention to sports, his body is nice, at least from the outside you already know he's dashing, he's a good guy, what's wrong with me hasn't seen him all this time.

"You look beautiful as always." I wore a faded yellow one piece dress with an A-line silhouette. I don't think there's anything special. It's me in standard, safe, almost formal form.

"You look good, too, Colin." I arrived in front of him. "Where are we going?"

"Manhatta, do you like."

"Ahh skyline restaurant, nice place. Of course." I've guessed the choice he'll make, a romantic restaurant, a skyline or a classic.

"You're free to replace it if you don't like it."

"No, I like it of course." I should be nice to her at least, otherwise Adam would be mad at me.

"We haven't seen each other in a long time." He was looking for a conversation when we were already on our way.

"Yes, it's been a long time. I thought you were married, but apparently you're still single. Too many are chasing you now that you're single?" I laughed at my own question.

"Do you think I'm someone like that?"

"Let's know, I don't know, there's a lot I know like that. So maybe that's not too surprising."

"I met some people of course. But maybe not the right person."

"Finding the right one is hard."

"You yourself? What's got you in trouble? Are you waiting for George Clooney to be single again?" I laughed, and he remembered I was crazy about Clooney.

"Hmm.I've met him, after meeting him, I'm so ordinary, there are still many friends who are more handsome than him."

"You're surrounded by too many handsome men as it turns out."

"I think so..." I laugh.

The conversation is growing more fun. He's not what I remember, although he still stays with his composure, but now he's more detached, knows to make jokes, maybe because of more social experiences, everyone develops I guess. We had a nice time, a nice dinner, a gorgeous view of Manhattan, unexpectedly I enjoyed talking to him tonight.

"You're still a long time in NY."

"Ehm, until the end of the month I guess. Less than two weeks."

"If you're in London maybe we can see each other again?"

"Yes, okay."

"Do you have to agree to me."

"No. Why should I be forced. Chat with you is fun." I think I want to know him more. He's fun anyway. He seemed relieved by my answer.

"Well, we'll see each other later if you're in London again."

"okay."

The night's over. I think I'm the first step to finish with my past.
