PRISONER OF LOVE LOVE THE WIDOWER

PRISONER OF LOVE LOVE THE WIDOWER
THE SEASON 4 Part 30. The Awkward Start 4

"Shiori, you came home last night, have a show?" Friday morning, Mama had asked, because lately usually eight o'clock has arrived home.

"Ryohei-san is taking dinner."

"Ryuhei? He and his son often take you out. You guys have a special relationship."

"Ehmm, now just think of it as a good friend."

"Now a good friend? You mean Ryohei said something to you?"

"He didn't convince Mama. I think we'll just be friends first."

"What do you mean unconvincing. He was a polite man, loving his son. Did he say anything to you and you refused?"

"I didn't turn it down, I just said we'd walk first."

"You're that kind of person, what do you want. Dear family, kind to you, courteous to old people, handsome, well-established. Shiori, if you're looking for the perfect it doesn't exist. Everyone has their flaws." Mom started to lecture me now.

"Mama, I told you I didn't turn it down. Just walk first, no need to rush."

Mama now sighed.

"Mama, don't worry okay. Everything's gonna be okay."

"Ryohei's been that good, you're still making things difficult for him."

"I don't make it difficult for Mama, I'm just getting used to it." Maybe Mama doesn't understand because she doesn't live it. "I'll go first, dear Mama." And I left her with a kiss, baby.

Today there is a new credit rating. We went to an office close to Ryohei's office. A company applying for a loan value large enough for the expansion of their plant. The production facilities that have been running are usually easily approved, but this is with a value large enough that I have to come along.

"This is our director, Miss Shiori Tanaka." A manager introduced me to a client who would present their project. Some men look at me quite in amazement before introducing themselves, as I said seeing women in high positions is quite difficult in Japan.

"Just start the presentation."

It turned out that the lead delegate was the director of production, an American man of maybe about the end of his 40s I guess, but because of maybe his Japanese language limitations he was replaced assistant explained to us.

The presentation went well actually, we got the points we wanted to ask. Some seem poorly explained. Who can understand how to explain in detail only the leader of the delegation.

"You know my question, Mr. Helmer, please explain to me, I can understand perfectly whatever you say." He looked at me and began to explain in more detail and answered a few more questions from me.

"Mr Helmer, I'm 25 years old in the USA and Europe, my English is like my mother tongue."

"really. It's only fitting that you can understand so smoothly."

We were invited to lunch with the team later. Our conversation went quite smoothly because he was born in Massachusetts, where I studied at the University.

Unexpectedly I saw Ryohei-san then, she just smiled at me, as she also seemed to be hosting her guests. So I continued to chat with Mr. Helmer as usual. He's a man full of humor if you can hear him talk. Unfortunately only I was able to catch it fully enough.

At the end I went to the toilet and Ryohei seemed to be doing the same thing on purpose.

"New client?" He looked at me from the glass sink. "You look so familiar with that gaijin, he can only talk to you?"

"Yes. Gaijin's new client, Japanese is bad, so all he can talk to is me.." I teased him on purpose, because he's sensitive about any gaijin I meet. It seemed like he was greatly rivaled by that gaijin.

"I see, you deserve to be so excited." Now he comes up with insinuations again

"You jealous?" I grimaced amusedly. Gaijin was already almost 50, did he not see his already bald hair in front of him. He just kept quiet and didn't answer me.

"Maybe you taught her to eat sushi this time, didn't." He wasn't serious and insinuated, I laughed.

"Eating sushi doesn't need to be taught by Ryohei-san."

"Hmm so. Good means my guess was wrong." I faced towards him, tidying up his slightly slanted tie. She looked at me with her curious eyes, her perfume was smelled again by me.

"You're so sweet, are you jealous of bald grandparents. He's a gaijin, but my standards seem very far away. You're more handsome than him. You satisfied?" Now her lips are putting on a faint smile because I'm complimenting her. "I'll go first okay,..."

"Tomorrow I'll go to your house." He spoke so I had to go back to see him again.

"Hmm it's up to you. With Sayuri not."

"You're expecting more Sayuri than me?" I laugh.

"So now you're jealous of your own son?" I smiled broadly. She seemed to run out of words to answer me, I was indeed a difficult girl to deal with it seems. "Come, I'm waiting for you of course." His face seemed to be relieved by my answer.

"Let's call okay." I gave him an okay sign and with those words I turned around to leave him.

He seems to be serious about us. This time without her son having to get involved.
