SEASON 3 part 37. HAPPILY EVER AFTER - ENDING SEASON 3

I'm happy that everyone is there, Mama, Papa, Papa Lam, all the sisters and family of both Mama and Papa. For a time they forgot all the problems and were present at our engagement.

"Arnold Lam?" Papa initially looks surprised to see Papa Lam on the invitation list.

"I invited him because in the last few years he helped me a lot. My sister also just got married last month, I hope Papa isn't angry." He looked at me and breathed.

"It's okay, everything you consider family, you think it's good must be here." Papa patted me on the shoulder and was willing to budge, I'm glad he didn't protest I invited his enemy.

He even welcomed her himself as the main representative of the family. Mama looks pretty suprise too she's willing to have a quick chat with Papa Lam.

"Everything looks like it's fine, your family's coming all over." Koko who knows the whole story also commented on Papa who was willing to chat with Papa Lam, my sister and her extended family. I nodded happily, like there was no dispute, they made peace for this special day. Although our family has a pretty messed up story, today everything seems good.

"Yes, there seems to be no commotion, even though these 3 families have had a big fight with each other. Now it seems they're a normal family."

"That's great. Something good." Koko smiled.

I smile. Now it is Papa who represents who is grateful to all the families who have come. The day event was filled with a sense of haru. Our wedding will be held within two months of this event.

"Our beloved daughter is about to get married, what a joy. And she married a colleague and family friend, Mr and Mrs Cheng. Both of us Father and Mother really feel happy for them for their families in the future." Even Mama is willing to stand beside Papa today because she also appreciates Mama at this moment not to bring another woman.

I'm glad today everything went well.

"Thank you Mama and Papa are here." At the end of the show lived our parents and my sisters.

"What are you saying, we may not accompany you. You're our pride." Mom smiled at me.

"Your marriage is calm. Dad may not be there much help, but later I transfer the fee, your mama will be here to help you." I laugh. As always Papa is generous if he is happy.

"Where are you going to live?" Papa asked Koko now.

"Ehm in Koko's apartment, it's wider than my apartment, and closer to Mama's. We're not looking for a new apartment."

"Alright, it's up to you to set it up as long as you agree."

We joined in chatting with our parents before returning home. A pleasant afternoon and evening everyone was happy.

"You look so happy today." We were at home at the end of the afternoon.

"Everyone is gathered today. Mama and Papa, they made peace for me. Even Papa was not angry when he saw Papa Lam and did not touch her. It was a pretty big effort for him."

"You're not happy for us?"

"Whatchu mean? How could I not be happy for us. I'm used to being next to you, I guess. It feels nice and quiet every day to be able to come home here."

"It feels like family?"

"It feels like family." I smiled at him. Someone who accompanies your days and is with you, may this family remain intact until later.

"Yes, I know. I also want to enjoy my pregnancy with a little relaxation. Right now I don't want to be too stressed with work, maybe later if our kids are busy school, I have more time."

"You've thought about it apparently."

"I grew up with a rather busy Mom everywhere. It feels a little lonely sometimes, maybe I try another way with my kids. But you, hmm. You do have to work. Unless one day there's a kid who suddenly claims to be your son and asks for an inheritance, you'll see what I can do to you."

"Antamateur, you're always threatening people with evil mode?"

"I'm good at being good to me. But now you're the best."

"Why did you fall in love with me."

"I don't know. I like how you keep on lighting up, how you defend your mother. With you there is no drama for attention, it is the opposite of my previous relationship. It's all fun, it's not a scary thing to deal with, and then suddenly I miss you if you're away from me, I think I'm used to being with you, we're used to relying on each other, and then all of a sudden I miss you, and we're together. No love at first sight, just being comfortable and finally needing each other." I smiled hearing his answer.

"Why do you like me."

"Because you're more profitable to like." He laughed out loud.

"Daughter Wong Lee Man, you made me a kind of option on the purchase order list."

"At first yes. But I didn't choose wrong. I really like what I choose, even if you only propose with one word, but I'll take it."

"It seems that magic word will continue to be discussed for the rest of your life."

"You're right. Your ring. You really have the heart. That's practical."

"What matters is that we are together. And will try to be together forever."

"Effort together forever. Much more important than a ring."

"Agreed."

Rings are just things.

What matters is how you live it. Our path is still long, but hopefully we can live it like Papa Lam and Aunt Yun Lan.

Not all stories end sadly.

There is also a truly happy ever after, but of course there is an effort to it.
