PRISONER OF LOVE LOVE THE WIDOWER

PRISONER OF LOVE LOVE THE WIDOWER
SEASON 3 Part 11. The Grey Zone 2

Mama and Uncle suprise with the news that I can withdraw the Cheng family's support.

"Then do we have to pay them something? Did they ask..." I know what Mama's question means.

"No Mama, but I ask Mama and Uncle for permission to bring one person who can fight the Chow and Papa families, our strength will be enough against them."

"You're right, even if the Chow family joins, the exact number may be 35-40%, it's still very less. Who are you gonna bring?"

"Philip Leung." They don't believe what they're hearing now.

"What?! How come?" Uncle couldn't believe it. "Philip Leung's a rival arguably from the past?"

"I can be Uncle, but that means in the future Shing Wang and Hong Lung will have to work together a lot. With Leung in, we might be able to kick the Chow family." And I can kick Nathan out of Shing Wang, plus Papa's over-hyped dream.

"Can you?" Mom doesn't trust me as much. "We and Leung were hostile during your father's leadership, how could you have a relationship with them?" It's my turn to ask now.

"If I could be Uncle willing to make a deal, wouldn't I?" Uncle and Mama looked on.

"If you can, of course we have to make a deal with them. Want not. Sure do..." My uncle finally gave his voice.

"Then I will work on it, Uncle and Mama take it easy, everything will turn around in the next six months. I'll finish this. Do what Mama and Uncle have to do, if I can secure the support of both of them, the ones under the Chow family will instantly turn on us."

On the 25th, the Shing Wang shareholder meeting was held. Brother Cheng called me he'll be on the 9 o'clock flight, before noon he should have reached the hotel.

While me, Mama and Uncle have been busy meeting some who have definitely been on our side from yesterday. It's exhausting but it has to be done.

"I'm here, you need help."

"I'm going to have a mausoleum by noon with some close shareholder colleagues who will support Uncle, would you like to join?"

"Of course, I'm also one of your supporters."

"My room is 1529."

"I'm there."

These few days he seems to be busy, he just texted a few times and once called. No. I won't ask for more attention, he's up to his word I'm grateful. He is the one who keeps his promise.

There were two makeup assistants finishing my makeup and styling my hair when the knock on the door sounded.

"If it's Anthony Cheng, tell him to come in." One of them ran to the door while I was still sitting at the dresser.

"Mr Anthony Cheng?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Go in, Miss is making up." Assistant makeup again finish my hairdo .

"What's wrong, I'll just wait. Don't worry."

Shortly finish them. The light green semi-formal dress looks perfect, while my hair is sleek and neat for an elegant impression.

"Sorry, a little while, the lunch will start soon, thanks for coming early."

I stood in front of him and smiled. Now I don't care what he thinks of my appearance. I'm me, no need to affirm approval from others. Sit beside him comfortably.

"You seem to be very busy."

"It has started from yesterday when the representative came. I've been eating and drinking mostly wine since yesterday afternoon." I laughed crisply. "We have to go now. It's not good the host came later." I stood up first and walked up to the door and went straight to the elevator, Koko followed me.

"Cherrie, you can hold my arm." He suddenly said that when we were in the elevator.

"Ohh?" I don't think he's gonna say it, so I'm acting pretty cool as usual. Because I wouldn't ask if he didn't. "All right, thank you." I gave my smile while inserting my palm on his arm.

"Have you beaten up people these few days?"

"Ehm not yet, I just met friends, maybe tonight I'll do it." He looked at me while pulling his lips.

"You're ashamed to see me making a fuss with Koko?"

"If you're sure the commotion will benefit you, do it anyway, but if it just drops your own reputation, then reconsider your move." Well, he's supportive too, I like the answer.

"As usual, you always have the right words." I smiled and said my first compliment to her

"That's a compliment?"

"Of course."

"You always look beautiful as always." I grimaced.

"You should have brought me flowers, I didn't get compliments, that Nathan just bought me a big tulip boquet."

"That's satire?"

"Clear."

He laughed out loud. I don't know what that means. But apparently he held it and did not offend the coachman. I just grimaced to see it.

"If that's how I owe you, you're right I should have brought you flowers. I don't know myself."

This handsome Koko, why did she have to bring me flowers. He has no obligations.

"I'm waiting for the debt to be paid if that's the case."

But my mouth says something else, because I've learned not to be so arrogant now
