Episode 99's

Gibran managed to knock Mahesa to the floor and strangled him. At that time Gibran remembered the cry of his mother who requested that Juragan Damar listen to his explanation that he was not cheating, he heard the cry of his mother who was struggling for help. He recalled how Juragan Damar beat his mother, dragged her and put her into a rotten warehouse. He also had not forgotten his own cry when he had to stand in front of the warehouse and cry while calling out to his mother, helpless. Then Manira cries out for help but Mahesa leaves him. Gibran recalled Manira's entire wait with all his sacrifices at the old station that ended in vain. Gibran was furious. He was eager to finish off Mahesa to avenge all her pain for it. Then Gibran saw a knife on the floor. He took it and...

“Hiaaatttttt!!!”

Gibran swung the knife over Mahesa's head and nearly killed him. But then Gibran dropped his intention. He stopped the speed of the knife that was already on Mahesa's head. He stared fixedly at Mahesa, trying to control himself.

“This one time only..” said Gibran. “For the first and last time I recognized you as a sister,” he said as he dropped the knife.

Mahesa has not given up. As soon as Gibran let his guard down, he secretly tried to grab whatever was around him to hit Gibran. Then he found a bottle of wine. He swung it up and almost hit it on Gibran's head. Fortunately, several security guards came and arrested him. The exhausted Mahesha was finally helpless against them.

Gibran took a deep breath of fatigue and anger. He cleaned the blood on his nose, the marks of Mahesa's punch. Then he looked at Mahesa who was also full of bruises and blood on her face and all over her body. Gibran was silent. Baffled. He no longer knew what he had to do to someone who was being held firmly by some of those security officers in order to stop causing trouble. Mahesa's revenge is never ending. Although Gibran was also still angry over Manira, but he could still refrain from doing further. But Mahesa, his anger is still burning even bigger. Maybe it was because he felt he had lost and lost all his power.

Gibran looked at Mahesa, “I don't know who to sue you for whose death? My mother, Juragan Damar or Manira.” said Gibran mentioned the names while counting them with his finger.

The security guards took Mahesa to the police station. Though helpless, Mahesa still stared at Gibran with hatred and anger. It seemed that the grudge would never stop before he died. In his eyes it was still reflected that someday he would definitely return to demand a reply. Wh why? For not a single moment, not a second and not once did Mahesa willingly see Gibran take all the wealth of the Damar Magistrate that should have been his. He was not willing to see Gibran happy because in every smile of Gibran he still always heard the cry of his mother who slashed him.

Ngii....

Gibran stood on the hospital balcony, on a clear morning. He plays a sad song that Manira used to play.

There was only one light, the rest was all dark

I don't know why I can't stop loving you

I don't know why I can never replace you with another

It was like suicide

It was like dying between life and death

My beloved.

My beloved.

Behind Gibran was a woman sitting in a hospital bed. Maniras. His gaze was still sad as if there were thousands of sorrows approaching him. She's quiet. Maybe forever he'll just shut up. Mahesa approached Manira and grabbed her.

“Hikz... hikz Gibran crying. “I'm sorry...” said Gibran, feeling guilty for not protecting Manira.

Her tears were shed looking at the woman she loved the most, now like an undead who could only open her eyes but could do nothing. Commas.

Finishes...
