Episode 89
“This is impossible..” Gibran was shocked.
Gibran's entire body felt limp, helpless. His heart screamed in pain at the fact that Manira would be destroyed tonight. Gibran was crying in a corner of the holding cell after repeatedly beating the bars and screaming to be let go. No one heard it. Now Gibran was alone in that cell with his sorrow and all his regrets.
“I'm sorry...I'm sorry.” Gibran felt very guilty while banging his own head.
An agonizing regret made Gibran's chest feel tight. He could go back crazy and be a bum. This time it might be even worse. Mahesh managed to make Gibran feel guilty and continued to torture himself to atone for his guilt. He beat his head and even hit it against the wall for not being able to accept such a painful reality.
Gibran did not stop blaming himself. If only he had never met Manira then Mahesa would not have used Manira as her means of revenge. It all happened because of him. Poor Manira must fall victim to the grudges of two never-ending half-brothers even though time has long passed. Gibran lamented. He feels guilty for not being able to do anything to save Manira. The crying didn't stop all night. He couldn't imagine what would happen to Manira tonight.
Manira lives history. After the incident, Manira fell silent in her room in the morning with a blank look. He was shocked because the man he trusted so much, the man to whom he trusted his whole life and he hung his hopes turned out to treat him worse than an animal. Manira is disgusted at herself to the point of not daring to look at the world anymore. Everything's been ruined.
She squatted on the floor of her room, looking down, crying. In his mind he always asked, though,
“Why can't I stop loving her?”
Manira weeps for being trapped with her own love so she can't replace it with anyone. There were too many things he sacrificed but everything seemed to be meaningless at all. Manira keeps crying, regretting why she had to fall in love with Mahesa, someone who doesn't care about her in the least. He's very desperate. His whole world has gone dark. One by one his memory of Mahesa's treatment to him reverberated.
Manira is sad that all this time Mahesa has made it into a display that is targeted by many men. The auction, Manira remembered it more and more. An auction that is getting longer the price is getting higher and making Mahesa happy turns out to be an auction that auctioned her virginity. Is that the real Mahesa? Manira kept asking, what's wrong? Why should he be treated like this?
Manira remembered her dream at that time. In the dream Manira said,
“Can't you just once be the bad guy so I can stop loving you?”
Seriate....
