Episode 63

Evidently, the spirit and positive thoughts of his own ability made Gibran have many brilliant ideas to sell the land. Then the money came. After that, there would be even more opportunities following behind him, if Gibran did not give up and stopped halfway. Now he says he wants to open a workshop. Something Manira thinks is impossible given that Gibran knows nothing about machines. But again where there is a will there is a way.

“I don't know much about the machine. But isn't there a lot of people out there who have the ability in this field?” gibran replied confidently, seeing that what Manira was worried about was nothing big. “I can recruit them to cooperate with me,” Gibran continued.

Manira once again made a notch with the contents of Gibran's head which turned out to be much smarter than he imagined. Gibran no longer viewed any of his limitations or incompetence as an obstacle to progress. Like going to Surabaya, if there is no bus, is there still a train? Why think of small problems? Isn't it important that goals are achieved? Don't wait too much. Do not wait to be clever first in the field of new machines open the workshop. But do everything you can to move forward, read all the opportunities, take advantage of all the opportunities. Don't wait until the spirit is hardened and rusted which will ultimately mean nothing.

Gibran's intelligence in negotiating made Mr. Arman recruit him as one of the marketing team in his company. His job is to market the apartment, house and all the projects that Mr. Arman is working on. The rest, Gibran managed his workshop business with the help of several experts. At first it was just a small shop. There are many threats of bankruptcy if considering Gibran is a person who does not know anything about the machine and business of this field. But his strong determination kept him from giving up and never stopped learning.

In a short time, he managed to get what he wanted. Gibran is no ordinary man. Maybe because he inherited the blood of Juragan Damar as a reliable businessman. Gibran can get everything in no time. He managed to change his predicate from an old station-waiting madman to a young businessman who was quite calculated, although still not enough to rival the success of Manira's lover who had arrived abroad.

That morning Gibran and Manira had coffee in a tavern. Manira was astonished to see a magazine that discussed everything about Germany at Gibran's table.

“Germany? Want to learn German?” Manira surprise.

“Why?” Manira was astonished to see Gibran so interested about everything related to Germany.

“There used to be someone who really wanted me to go there,”, Gibran replied in memory of Juragan Damar who had asked him to learn German. Somehow lately he was very curious and wanted to learn everything about the country.

“Who?”

“Already,” Gibran did not want to discuss further about the Damar Scouts.

Manira understood that Gibran did not want to tell him any further. He chose to switch the conversation, though,

“You did it,” said Manira.

“Thanks to someone,” replied Gibran while staring at Manira.
