Episode 25's

18 Years later...

Ngiiik...

A beautiful woman in a white dress was seen sitting on one of the wooden chairs, carrying a violin and playing it. A heart-wrenching song seemed to describe his deep longing for someone. A person whose arrival he was very much looking forward to at this old station. There was hope waving like a child waving his hand, longing for his mother. A very deep hope that also describes the pleasure on the face of the white woman.

Behind the old station, there was a homeless man holding a broomstick, under a shady banyan tree. The dry afternoon breeze continued to drop its leaves to make the moustached-haired man have difficulty cleaning it. Not only was his hair shabby, his clothes were also dirty, it was unclear whether his original color was brown or yellow because it was too decile. He stood under a huge tree like an old station-waiting demon.

“Crazy people...crazy people...” some little kids in SD uniforms yelled at him while throwing stones at him.

The creepy man looked at them and the children ran away in fear. They were afraid that the madman would go on a rampage and chase after them. These are the days Gibran had to go through. A 12-year-old boy transformed into a grown man who was like a terrible old tree-keeper. He is so hurt by his past that he no longer has the spirit of life. Not having a purpose in life and allowing himself to fall apart.

Gibran decided to leave the village. He does not want to live in the past even though the past still follows him. He could never escape the incident even after 18 years had passed. Gibran grew up and lived in this old station like a madman working as a broomstick, just to be able to eat. There was nothing else he expected in his life other than just to eat and be able to survive until tomorrow morning.

It remains in Gibran's memory of how he got rejected everywhere,

“A bastard... an illegitimate child...” exclaimed his peers, at that time, one of which was Mahesa.

Gibran felt like he had nowhere to go. Before, everyone was afraid of Juragan Damar so they did not dare to say anything. But after Juragan Damar died, one by one began to dare to sneer at Gibran as a child born from an illegitimate relationship. Everyone was like looking at him with a look of disdain and contempt.

One day, a friend from his village passed by this station with his mother. The little boy was happy to see Gibran whom he had not seen for a long time,

“Gibran!!” shouted the little boy with a face of sumringah. “Ma, it's Gibran Ma. Akbar's classmate,” continued the boy while pointing at Gibran who was sitting in the corner of the station.

“Hush!!” jolt the child's mother with an angry tone. “Don't play with an obscure child like her,” said the mother in a tone of disgust and a look full of contempt.

Seriate....
