Episode 66

The priest took a deep breath, puzzled over how else to make Manira understand that what he was doing was foolishness.

“The more stubborn, the more you will sink into your dreams. Once you are aware, you will know that too much of your time is wasted just waiting for one person who will not necessarily return. You are a fool, like one who drowns in the mud and does not want to be saved by anyone. Just hope that someday there will be a tree that sticks out its branches to save you...it is impossible,” said Imam trying to advise Manira in an annoyed tone.

Manira shook her head again with tears still flowing, “I'm sorry. I still can't..”

“Manira!!” shouted the Imam, angry. He had even raised his hand, almost hitting Manira.

“Hit, if it can reduce your pain,” Manira said.

“Sometimes you will regret it,” concluded Imam and left with his anger.

“Tell me what to do that can make you feel better,” cried Manira.

Priest turns around, “Marry me..”.

“Manira!!!” the priest shouted while running after Manira.

Manira kept running while crying. Many times he beat his own chest until a loud punch sounded as if it could ease the pain in his heart. The pain of being so many times he had to be an evil human being who always hurt many people. He blames himself, why does everything have to be like this? I want to make a lot of people happy but everyone is hurt by it.

“I just want to be a good person... I just want to be a good person.” he said while running, regretting why he always makes mistakes that make a lot of injuries.

Manira kept running until she got to a crowded place.

“Soaring!!! Move!!!” there were boisterous cries of several people in front of Manira.

Manira surprise. There was a big truck in the middle of the road. Looks like there was just an accident. Dozens of police and civilians gathered to evacuate the victims. There was a siren between the ambulance and the police car siren. Smoke billowed around the red truck. The beautiful woman split the crowd to take a closer look at the overturned truck. For some reason, his heart was beating very fast and very agitated. A few moments later.

“Aw....” cried Manira as soon as he saw an old man pinned inside the truck with bloodstains everywhere.

“Do not look!!!” the Imam said as Manira went into his arms, making sure that Manira did not see the terrible incident. Manira hid her face in the Imam's arms and wept bitterly. The priest tried to hold Manira tightly in his arms, as if to assure him that all would be well.

That afternoon Manira returned to play her violin at the old station. Beside him, there was a basket of sow flowers, a former from the cemetery. Every time I feel anxious or sad or miss someone so much, Manira always goes to this place. This time, Manira's expectations were much greater than the previous days. She really hopes to meet her lover today. Someone he's always missed his whole life. The song felt more heart-wrenching. More slashing than ever, probably because coupled with the unusual tears of Manira.

Seriate...
