Episode 35's

“Manira, there are guests. Try to meet,” said abah. Old man whose hair is full of gray hair and his voice is very old but still looks healthy and fit.

Manira knows, you must be trying to match her to someone else again. He looked at me with an annoyed face. He seemed to have been very tired of the problems that had dragged on for so long. There was anger, fear and unease that Manira tried to show from her gaze.

“I don't want to,” replied Manira.

Abah hush. But his silence harbored a rage that seemed to have been harbored for quite a while and now it was time to reveal everything. He stared fixedly at Manira, scaring Manira. There was a father's great hope that suddenly turned into a huge disappointment as well.

Manira shed tears. His heart was always broken whenever it was positioned at an intersection like this. This is the umpteenth time I've betrothed such a beautiful Manira to a man. It usually ends in disappointment, anger and shame because Manira always rejects them. Not only did she reject the proposal but she did not even want to see the face of the man who came for her.

For others, it would probably be considered Manira to be arrogant, arrogant and picky. But for Manira, there is no other love than her lover. That's the only reason why Manira has always refused to be betrothed. Because he is still waiting for his lover who once promised to return. That promise now ensnared Manira's legs and neck and left her unable to move forward or backward in her life. She remained stag in the same place, standing in the same place as her beautiful dreams that someday her lover would definitely return for her. He was even like a madman who always stood at the old station every three o'clock in the afternoon. Even crazier, she almost took her own life than being forced to marry another man.

But I have other thoughts. He is a parent, a father who feels he has a responsibility to marry off his daughter. Moreover, the age of Manira is 28 years, the age that is very mature for a woman to marry. If you do not get married soon, it will be a disgrace. Where some people still agree that the image as an unmarried woman over the age of 25 years will be referred to as a spinster and the designation is more identical as a disgrace that embarrasses the family. That's what I'm fighting for.

“Abah can no longer bear the shame of hearing abah's child referred to as a spinster,” said abah with teary eyes, sad. “It is sad to hear there are people who call you arrogant, arrogant, picky and others. Abah knows it's not true, but can you what????” the old man even cried in front of Manira.

“Bah, Manira can not love other men besides him,” Manira trying to give abah understanding.
