Episode 40's

Manira was silent, holding back her cries for sadness insulted and scolded by the Imam's parents. It was undeniable that he was also sick to see his parents being humiliated like this, but he really could not pretend.

“Well, honorable and elderly people in this village. We recommend that you educate your daughter well in order to be polite to older people,” concluded Iman's father as if insulting brother who can not educate Manira well.

“Pak.... father don't be..” The priest tried to arrest his parents but they would not listen. Both of the Imam's parents left Manira's house in disappointment and poor judgment.

Abah was silent, lowered, weeping, sad, not daring to raise his face, not daring to look at the old Imam much less to see their faces. Abah can't even say anything anymore so shy about Manira's attitude. This isn't the first time. Events like this have happened often and this time you are really tired.

Manira is crying, sad. Once again he had to face such a difficult situation. Many times he said that he did not want to marry other than the person he loved. But everyone seems to not hear it. They just keep on matching Manira with A, B, C youth and everything has to end like this.

“This is already the tenth proposal. When will kowe koyo ngene?” my mother was disappointed with Manira's decision. “Be careful notdok, do not let you later kuwalat. All the men who proposed to you have already rejected you. If someday you do not practice marrying and becoming a spinster, do not blame mother equally. Because of all this karma from your own sins,” my mother boasted as if cursing Manira who had closed all the doors of her heart to a man other than her lover.

Manira's heart is slipping, her tears are spilling. He was sick, disappointed and claustrophobic about his mother's curse. He was sad because no one could understand his feelings. Even mother, the one who should have understood and understood him the most could not do that. Manira sad. He feels alone.

“What is marriage based on good looks only? If handsome married, if ugly rejected?” manira replied, daring to refute mother in a harsh tone.

He was tired of hearing the insults of everyone who kept blaming him. He was disappointed because everyone thought getting married was just a matter of looks. They say that at least Manira should see their faces first. Then Manira thinks whether looks can be the size of a person should marry whom and should not marry whom. What if his face is handsome then can be married but if ugly does not become married. Isn't this unfair to those who have a face? While no one could choose he would be born with clean or dark skin, no one could choose he wanted to be born handsome or ugly. Why is everyone's thinking so shallow? Shouldn't love be based on the heart?
