Episode 56's

Manira walks to one corner of the bridge. He stared at an empty land beside the bridge. A ground covered with weeds that began to dry up. A few meters beside him was a small lake but the water was very clear. It is located a bit far from the highway that connects it with this bridge. Some fir trees even make the arid soil look invisible. From a distance it was just like an empty forest, uninhabited.

“You see that?” manira said pointing to the empty land overgrown with wild plants.

Gibran looked towards the empty land that was also passed by a small but beautiful waterfall. Unfortunately, it is hidden so that not many people visit. Plus the wild plants on his left right and the old tunnel whose back they are stepping on, enough to make people cringe if they have to visit the place.

“It has been ten years the land was installed signpost ‘DIJUAL’, but until now no one has bought it. If you can help me sell the land, I will give you a big commission,” Manira said offering a challenge to Gibran. Gibran said, if you only do something small then the results will also be small. This time, Manira offers him a great job and it is not easy. If Gibran can do well, the advantage he can also certainly not a little.

Gibran was silent for a moment. Doubt began to infiltrate his soul again. Occasionally the insecurity reappeared which made his steps back shrill. He wasn't sure if a madman like him could do such a big job. He stared at the railroad tracks under the bridge, confused, agitated at the thought of whether or not he would take this job.

“What doesn't start today, will never finish tomorrow,” Manira cheered Gibran who hinted if he didn't start moving today, there will be no change in him. The more delay will be further from success. Gibran must not stop, must not give up because of his own fears, because of his own indecision that killed him before he started anything.

Gibran seemed to be thinking things over seriously. He tried to crush his own doubts. He tried to rebuild his spirit and his confidence. He clenched his hands, forcing himself to be willing to move forward.

“You sure I can do it?” ask Gibran.

“Doubt can only be removed by taking action. If you don't do anything forever you will feel hesitant and afraid to do something. A skydiving coach once said that the plunge itself is not scary. The scary thing is to wait and wait for the time of the drop. There is no other way but to try it or you will continue to feel doubt and fear like this,”

“For the first time,” replied Gibran that he had really found a reason to live and he wanted to get up from his slump immediately but he did not know what he should do. He still doubts.

A moment of wanting to step forward, a moment later the doubt lingered.
