I WASN'T...

I WASN'T...
Elder sister

Many times I looked towards the door of my inpatient room, waiting for Rena to come. This morning I was moved to a regular room. If in two days all my supporting examinations are good, then I can go home. I was also very bored in the hospital. The patients who came after me have even gone home.

"Where's the kid!?" my great-grandson is upset.

"Patience.. Not long ago also nyampe," said Satya. "Lo wants to play monopoly just like to look for the exam but his student has not come."

The door to my ward suddenly opened. "Rin! Long a-" my protest sentence stopped. The person I thought was Rena, turned out to be someone else. "Sir Dika?"

"I'm sorry I just came by now" a tall man came over to my bed. His familiar face depicted a worried look. He took off the backpack and placed it carelessly near the foot of the bed. "Gue had to solve some cases and it turned out to be a lot of time!" he hugged me tightly. "You're all right? Is anyone still sick?"

"Now it's okay, brother," I nodded back. I haven't seen Dika in person in a long time. The burning longing spilled all over as soon as he was present.

"Ehem!" One cleared his throat, making us remember his presence. "I'm sorry, I think I'm disturbing, huh? Your boyfriend came all the way here."

I and Brother Dika exchanged views, then broke up together. We are often mistaken for people who do not know us.

"Lo who?" ask Brother Dika. He crossed his arms in front of his chest.

"Known, I'm Satya. I'm Debi's schoolmate. One exculp too."

Brother Dika frowned. "Did you know Debi?" ask her with a haughty tone. I know he wants to ignite Satya's anger.

"A week after MOS."

I blinked, shocked because Satya still remembered when we first met. Satya turns out to be the type of person who cares about the same little things, huh? From his grim demeanor, after all, it seemed like he was indeed the kind of person who was considerate.

"Lo really is just Debi's friend, right?" Brother Dika wrapped his hand around my shoulder, trying to pump Satya up again. I, the hell, dare to bet that Satya will not react anything. He, right, has no feelings for gu-gu

Satya suddenly stood up. His face was the same when he was angry. The look in his eyes that were as sharp as the eagle's eyes, pierced my heart again.

"He's my brother," I made a sound. I don't want Satya to get angry anymore. I still have a lot of needs for him during my school days. I also have not returned all the good thoughts from Satya. "He's my brother who goes to school out of town. Big brother."

"ah! No fun, Deb! He stopped again!"

"Is that her way to ngusir men near lo?" satya asked with eyes narrowed suspiciously.

I nodded, while Brother Dika was lying next to me. "My brother is special. I have to find someone special for him too."

"Sister complex!" insinuate me.

"Bye, dong! My sister is just one. I have to take good care of him, right?" he answered while ruffling my hair.

"Well! Brother Dika!" rena's voice screeched from the entrance. "What is Dika's sister!?" Rena ran in and hugged Dika. "Goodbye, Brother! I haven't seen you in a long time! How are you?"

"Okay, dong! Especially after seeing that Debi is healthy, so even better!"

"See I'm not happy?" fashion Rena.

Kak Dika observed Rena from head to toe. "Lo stays flat, huh? Not good to see!"

"Lt!" Rena thrust a fist into the ribs of Brother Dika. "Deb, sorry I just sampe. I didn't buy this for you, "he handed me a box of cookies. "Hi, Brother Satya! Long wait?"

"No, really! I, anyway, relax. Her Majesty Princess Debi who insists daritadi."

"Hue right hehas!" protest me with a mouth full of cake.

The cake that Rena brought was so good! From the taste, I know that this cake is not easy to find, but Rena willingly queued for me. Uuuh, moved me!

"So play?" Rena sat at the foot of my bed.

"Main what?" ask Brother Dika.

"Monopoly."

"Hahian hajah! Hue wants to dope."

"Deeeeeb! Telen first, Beautiful!" great-grandson Rena.

"Don't you just get angry because of the old Rena coming? Now don't even want to play?"

I grunt. I was upset eating cake I was disturbed. "Yes, deh, yeaha! I'm following!" i'm nyerah.

The rest of the day we spent playing. I forgot my plan to study all the subjects I missed during my hospital stay. I was too pleased with the presence of Dika. Especially when he told me that he could have a full week off and I would continue at home.

Actually I'm a bit bad with Sister Dika, because at her age, she should be busy looking for a life partner. But he chose to stay by my side for a while longer.

"What time does your mom come?" ask Kak Dika when everyone has gone home. We played for almost four hours. Rena and Satya until reprimanded by the room nurse for not reminding me to rest, instead I tried to play until I forgot the time.

"Finished shift," I turned towards the wall clock. "If it were today, at half ten in the night."

"Mom didn't come home?"

I shook my head weakly, feeling guilty for Mom too. "Mother went home to get some dirty clothes or laundry. The rest of it is the same here as Debi."

"Tonight let me be here."

"Aren't you tired?"

"Mom's tired." Brother Dika sat on the sofa while stretching his body. "I actually feel guilty about Mom for leaving you both at home. If you knew you'd be this busy, I wouldn't have chosen a university far from home."

"But that's Brother's ideal! It's good to be real soon. Brother, don't say that, dong!"

It feels like cursing yourself because it is this weak and requires help from many parties. Not only Rena that I difficult, but Mother, father, and also sister Dika. Plus, there were some incidents with Satya's involvement as well. Keep on paying the debt I have. I just want to finish high school with good grades. Hm.. Also the math olympics.

"Lo want to eat chicken satay?" Brother Dika brandished his smartphone. A food delivery app was posted there.

"If it's night, Debi can't eat meat, sister," I explained. "But if there's iced tea, you may! I want sweet."

"Lo ate a cake, Deb! I can't eat sweet anymore!"

My lips are manyun. "Yes, deh.. Fresh iced tea."

"Well, that's it, dong! So that sister must be obedient!"

Lo serah!
