I looked at the house next door from my bedroom window. That night, the rain fell greeting the ground. Not so thick, but if the reckless nerobos, yes wet. The rumbling sound of lightning made the quiet night become crowded. I could see a small part of the interior of the house as lightning struck once in a while. Apparently some of the windows in the house had not been fitted with curtains. Most of the lights in the house were out.
"Son?" Mom came into my room with a neatly peeled plate of apples, complete with cold orange juice. "Still learning?"
I looked down, found my physics training book open on the table. Oh, aye! I was studying before it finally rained and my attention was diverted to the haunted house next door. Damn, my room is a room whose window faces the house.
"Eat the snack, yeah! Let your stomach not be empty." Mom put a plate full of apples and orange juice on my study table. He rubbed my head. "It's ten o'clock. Don't study until it's too late!"
"Yes, Mom. Awkwardly. A little more." I ate one apple at a time. Hm! The sweetness..
My mother sat on my bed. "By the way, I met the owner this morning" I opened the conversation.
I turned to Mom, waiting for her to react to our annoying and haughty new neighbor.
"Mother bring cheese nastar," Mother added.
Huh huh? You brought him food? Make what? He's a rich man, right? Surely he immediately rejected the cheese made by my mother that is not the same as the taste of her tongue.
"She ate the taste immediately," Mother was wide open.
"Ma-eat out?" ask me stutter.
"Mother was invited in, and then tea was served. The furniture in his house was not too much. His house was just full of bookshelves and books!"
My eyebrows are wrinkled. Such a dandy woman, instead of arranging the house beautifully, but even a collection of books?
"I think you'd be a good fit if you were friends with him. My hobby is reading books."
"Diddeliver! Don't want to!"
"But when I met Mom, she was nice, friendly, and even ate there."
I shudder. Apparently the guy is two-faced. He wasn't like that when I stood in front of his house. Just stand up, you! But he hates for mercy! I think I'll steal the furniture from his house. She's a flat chick like me, burglar-faced, huh?
"She told me she just graduated High School last year. But not going to college."
"Wait, Mom! She just finished?" I remember how that woman looked. She looks too mature for a new size high school graduation.
"Yes. Three years with you."
Hm.. Maybe because she wears thick makeup, so looks more mature than her actual age. "Then why didn't he go to college?"
"Busy, he said."
"Busy?"
Mother nodded. "Busy work. He from Junior High has made his own money because he has no parents. He told me, when he was finally alone, he worked odd jobs so he could go to school. Fortunately he had an acquaintance who could help him until he finally became famous as he is now."
"Known?"
Mother sighed. "Maybe when you meet him, his mood is ugly and he's tired. But he's actually a good man, really!" Mother got up from her seat. "Seat the snack, then go to sleep, yeah!"
"Yes." Yeah."
My mother passed from my room with a thousand question marks on my head. Don't-don't, what I saw yesterday was actually an artist! Naturally, if the artist becomes senewen when I see who is nobody nangkring in front of his house. He, right, has to take care of privacy.
Speaking of apologies, I still haven't met Satya. He was also not nongol. My friend said he was busy practicing basketball. After my exertion, I samperin to the field, eeeeh Satyanya has returned. Is he usually this busy, huh? Until I find it hard to find him. I met him yesterday.
Fix it! He was angry and didn't want to see me. Waduh, if this is the story, dang, nih! Before I die, do I have enemies?
I immediately contacted Rena. I had to find information about Satya's mood before deciding to contact her over the phone. On the fifth ringtone, Rena finally picked up her phone.
"Yeah?" rena's voice sounded hoarse from across.
"Ren, are you sleeping?"
"Hmmm.. Who, here?"
Well, this kid must have picked up the phone without seeing the caller's name on his smartphone screen. "Debi, here!"
"Why, Deb, call nights?"
"About Satya's sister.."
"Satya's sister why?" Rena sounded stiff from across. Obviously he told me there was nothing.
"Lo chat with him today?"
"Hm.. Naw. He didn't reply to my chat again after your news yesterday."
I thought for a moment. "So, the mood's good again, isn't it?"
"What's wrong, Deb?" Rena asked back. "Is there a problem with Satya?"
"mmm.. I think it's offended for Satya's sister, huh!"
"How offensive?"
Jaelah.. When I told this to Rena? Later he himself even became more awkward when he met Satya. "There's just a little problem, anyway" I replied at last. "Gue plans to contact Satya, but still hesitates."
"Oh my God, are you hesitant to apologize?" Rena clucked from across the phone. "I'm sorry it didn't degrade, Deb! If you feel wrong, especially to offend others, apologize!"
"Yes, yeah, yeah.. Now I'll call Satya first."
"Yes, I want to go to sleep. Let me know tomorrow morning at school, yeah!"
I hung up. Right said Rena. I have to apologize. Satya was obviously angry at me. His attitude, which changed drastically after our last meeting, proved my estimation to be correct.
The last piece of apple finally got into my mouth. The crispness made my mouth can't stop. I spent orange juice in one drink. My stomach is full again. It means it's time for me to go to bed.
I held my smartphone in my hand. My feelings are upset. The rain outside the window grew heavier, making a boisterous sound. I'm not sleepy at all.
"Jeez, Deb! You just call Satya, keep apologizing! Why are you so nervous?" I protested to myself. Funny, I even think this-that, but have not said anything to Satya.
The clock has shown at half eleven in the evening. Is Satya still up, huh? If I call later, he's pat? Don't you just get angry with me? Not good, dong?
I took a long breath. Trying to calm the mind that becomes mumet itself. It's better if I talk directly to Satya. Tomorrow before I go to the hospital for control, I'll find him see you. If necessary, I'll take him in front of the school gate. I can't lose track of it again and let the matter drag on.
