Daniel was already panicking as Rangga moved closer to Valeda. He couldn't help saving his girlfriend. Applying to Rangga would not be useful.

"Why do you want to get rid of Daniel's son?" ask Kris.

Rangga stopped at his place. "I will do anything to protect Valeda," replied Rangga lightly.

"Heh, protect, huh?" cycad Kris. "Didn't you promise to raise that child like your own?"

"Where did you hear something so stupid?" Rangga asked back. "Where might I care for my enemy's son? I better get rid of it while I can, right?"

"In addition to the killer, it turns out you're a liar" Celine growled. "I know your parents, and they are good and wise. I didn't think they had a child like you."

Kris moved closer to Celine, just in case Rangga darkened his eyes and even vented at Celine. "I agree with what you said, Cel. It's only fitting that Miss Valeda doesn't like this person. I'm grateful Miss Valeda is still given some common sense."

"Haha! You guys are so compact!" Rangga pulled her hair back. Without warning, the blow floated again to Kris' chin. "But I'm going to make him bend his knees in front of me. You see for yourself, what I want will be done. That's how my world goes."

"I will make you feel the karma of your actions" said Kris angrily. "They are all meaningful people to me and you have hurt them."

"HAHAHAHAHA!!!" Rangga was broken until his tears came out. "It's funny what you say! You should have looked at your position first before putting out such irresponsible words." Rangga wiped away the tears that appeared at the end of his eyes. "What can a poor person like you do? Don't you know best how cruel the world is to people like you?"

Kris returned Rangga's eyes boldly. There was not a single bit of fear reflected in him. It made Rangga a little upset and wanted to teach Kris a lesson to submit to him.

Rangga turned to one of his men. "I don't think a blow as hard as anything will affect Kris. Find his family and torture them one-on-one. If necessary, make his father disabled!"

"HOW DARE YOU-" Kris did not continue his sentence, because for Kris there is no comparable meaning to describe how demonic Rangga's heart is.

"You should think before you say anything about me" Rangga warned. Rangga knelt next to Valeda who was still quietly lying on the floor. Celine pushed Rangga with her shoulder, but was soon removed by two of Rangga's men.

Rangga embraced the limp Valeda into his arms. Daniel and Celine called out to him many times, hoping Valeda would come to her senses. But Valeda did not open his eyes.

BRAK!!!

The sound of the barn door slamming open violently, made everyone aghast in shock. Everyone's eyes were fixed on the swarm of black-clothed men that burst into the room. Feeling that the one who entered just now was not his people, Rangga immediately ordered his men to attack.

Baku hantam has not happened because people in police uniforms entered the warehouse one by one. All the Rangga's men backed off regularly. "WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING!? HAJAR THEM SE-" Rangga suddenly fell silent. His eyes glared as he looked at the last person to enter.

"Finally..." Chris sat down next to Daniel. He looked at Daniel who was still confused by the sudden change in circumstances. "So, when I closed the door, I called Mr. Suherman and put my phone near the door. At least, Mr. Suherman heard our conversation earlier."

Daniel nodded in disbelief at what Kris said. "Are you recording it too?"

Kris smiled broadly. "of course. I will not miss such a precious moment. This will not happen twice in our lives" he replied.

Rangga walked up to Mr. Suherman, still with Valeda in his arms. "Oom, I'll explain everything!" said quickly.

Mr. Suherman was silent. His gaze was attached to the unconscious Valeda.

"Va-Valeda is fine, Oom," sambar Rangga. "I'll take him to the hospital and make sure he doesn't get hurt in the least!"

Mr. Suherman turned to one of the large-bodied men nearby, then nodded once. The man immediately took Valeda from Rangga's hands. Then, four policemen approached Rangga and arrested him.

"Oom up! Oom, listen to me first!" pinta Rangga while struggling. "I'm doing this because I love Valeda! Didn't Oom also disagree with Valeda's choice? Valeda can't be happy with a weak and powerless man like Daniel!"

Mr. Suherman paid no heed to Daniel's words. He stood in front of his son. Mr. Suherman stroked Valeda's swollen cheeks. The pain could control him. His most beloved son became like this and he could do nothing.

Two medics carrying stretchers took Valeda away from the warehouse. After confirming that his son had been handled by the right person, Mr. Suherman approached Kris, Celine, and Daniel. Three men in black helped them to unbind in their hands and feet.

"You all right?" Mr. Suherman was making small talk.

Mr. Suherman's eyes turned to Daniel. "I'm sorry you had to go through this" he said.

"I'm sorry to you, sir" replied Daniel.

Mr. Suherman let out a long sigh. "Things like this are unexpected. You still don't have the strength and power to protect my daughter."

All speechless. Kris and Celine looked at Daniel in panic. After what they went through, Daniel is still opposed by Valeda's father. But Daniel was calm. He himself was also aware that there was not much he could do for Valeda. Keeping to herself alone was difficult, let alone guarding a kind and innocent conglomerate princess.

"If you want to be with Valeda, you have to accept my help. You must hold your power and strengthen your defenses. I let Valeda go not to hurt anyone" added Mr. Suherman.

Kris and Celine gawked at Mr. Suherman's statement. The pleasure fills them. Ever since they knew Daniel, they had never been able to find another man better suited to be Valeda's life companion.

Not long after, Daniel was also lifted up on a stretcher. They were all sent to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment. Daniel closed his eyes fearlessly for the first time. She convinces herself to wake up later in the day, then sees Valeda by her side.

The aroma of medicine and bleach mixed together into one filled Daniel's lungs. He opened his eyes slowly. The bright light rays made him glare.

"Daniel! Wait, whoa! I'll get a doctor!"

A familiar voice made Daniel aware. His sight was still blurry, yet he knew who had been with him. The longer, the better his eyesight. He's in the hospital room. White filled his eyes.

"Doctor, hurry!" ask for that voice again. It turned out that Valeda went back inside the room with a doctor behind her. "Daniel is awake! He's conscious!"

The middle-aged doctor in a white suit approached Daniel. He pulled out a flashlight, then checked Daniel's pupil reflexes. A few seconds later, he used a stethoscope around his neck and examined Daniel's breathing. "We have to do some additional tests to find out the latest condition of the patient" said the doctor on Valeda. "However, it's a good thing that he finally regained consciousness after three days."

Valeda smiled broadly at the doctor's words. "Thank you, Doc!" quickly answer.

The doctor nodded and passed. Valeda collapsed on Daniel's side. He was crying sobbing. "Daniel.." call him in a quivering voice. "Daniel's... Thank ye... Thanks for being sober..."

Daniel wants to wake up, but he has no power. So, he simply moved his hand to caress Valeda's head. "Va-uhuk, uhuk!" daniel's voice won't come out.

Valeda got up, immediately reaching for the bottle of drink next to Daniel's bed. He thrust the bottle so that Daniel would wet his throat with water first, without bothering to wipe away his tears and snot.

Daniel smiled amusedly at the state of Valeda. He sipped the water three times, then tried to catch his breath. His chest still hurts. His head throbbed occasionally.

"Don't move too much" Valeda advised. "There are four broken ribs. Then, the doctor gave you fifteen nets in the head. Your left arm bone is also broken. But you don't have to worry. I'll take care of you until you're healed!"

Daniel chuckles. "Thank you, Val," he answered. "Sorry to trouble you."

Valeda shook his head excitedly. Daniel saw it until he was afraid that Valeda's head had slipped from his neck. "Kris and Celine are buying lunch. You want something?" bargained for.

"I don't think I've got permission to eat what I want" Daniel said. "Val, do you know the condition of my sisters?"

"I've handled everything. They're not allowed to come here because they're excited and they're bothering other patients. But, I can confirm that there is not a single thing I missed about them."

Daniel saw the seriousness in Valeda's eyes. "Thank God... Thank you, Val..."

"Don't say thank you anyway" Valeda refused.

Daniel looked at Valeda straight. "Do you want to marry me?" tanyakanya.
