54. Caught

"By... Daniel?" whispered Valeda. He could not believe what his eyes saw. Daniel was standing in front of him. "Why are you here?" ask Valeda. Not knowing why, he became nervous.

"What if I'm here?" ketus Daniel's. "Should I not be here and see you?"

"Bu-not so!" quick refute Valeda. He knew there had been a misunderstanding between Daniel and himself. "We're just walking around."

Daniel looked at Valeda from the tip of his hair, to the tip of his foot. Instantly, Valeda regretted having dandan all-out.

"Hm... Go for a walk with a friend with this beautiful appearance," said Daniel, his tone sounded flat. "Until you have to disable your phone? So you don't want to be disturbed?"

Valeda's guts became a whistle. The courage he had disappeared flowing through his feet and engulfed the earth. His mouth was tightly clenched, but he knew he had to explain why he disabled the phone.

Daniel suddenly turned his face. It was as if he was trying to avoid trouble. "Valeda, I want to talk" said Daniel. His voice sounded calmer.

"Valeda's my girlfriend" said Daniel.

"I think friends are more important than girlfriends" Rangga said haughtily. "Do you know, Love took her leave because you made her feel uncomfortable?"

"I told you, this has nothing to do with you" said Daniel.

Rangga opened his mouth, about to argue Daniel's statement. Valeda who knew that this would be a battlefield, directly advanced and mediated the two men in front of him.

"Stop!" Valeda pushed Daniel and Rangga away. "If it's like this, you're both ruining my day!" Valeda doesn't want to sound so biased. He was still confused as to what had happened, but he was unwilling to lose any of them due to his wrong decision.

"I chased you here because I wanted to talk about our problems" Daniel added.

Valeda turned around quickly, then ran away leaving the two of them. He ran quickly towards one of the rides and infiltrated the tourist entourage. Looking back, Valeda could see Daniel and Rangga trying to catch up. Unfortunately, the bus that was transporting them was already moving.

Valeda leaned against the bus seat. He breathed a sigh of relief knowing that he could escape from the two men arguing because of him.

"Hi! You look scared's. What happen?" (Hi, you look scared. What's up?). A man sitting next to her suddenly said hello.

Valeda cleared his throat and smiled a smile. "nothing. Just escape from my stupid friend" replied Valeda. (It's okay. Just running away from my stupid friend).

The blond man chuckled at Valeda's reply. His eyes were bright yellow, sparkling when struck by light. "Indonesian?" tanyakanya.

Valeda's eyebrows are up. Perhaps because he looked more like a Chinese than a native Indonesian, so the tourist asked him where he came from. "Yes, I am."

"Valeda," Valeda welcomed his new friend's hand. "Hearing your fluent Indonesian, it seems like you've been studying for a long time?"

Liam laughed when he heard it. "OK, okay... Please enjoy the animals here." Liam threw a smile before turning his head in the opposite direction and talking to the little boy next to him. Valeda could guess that it was his sister.

Valeda threw a glance out the window. He shields his chin with one hand. Seeing the vast expanse of green color, making it more relaxed.

Valeda smiled slightly as she looked at the giraffe. He remembered how he wanted to touch a giraffe as a child, to the point of overwhelming Mr. Suherman. 'Kangen Papa's.

Then, Valeda became oblivious to his problems and began to enjoy the full extent of every animal his bus passed through.

"Thank you for enjoying the beauty of the animals on our bus! Next, please continue your journey and see the beautiful underwater world!" the voice of the operator resonated inside the bus.

Not long after, the bus stopped. Valeda came out with the tourist group. Liam waved a small wave at him before leaving Valeda alone.

Valeda looked in all directions. There was no sign of Rangga or Daniel. "Hhh... At least it will be peaceful for some time" Valeda murmured.

He began to step up, entering into a tunnel surrounded by a giant aquarium. Valeda stood on the fence and looked up. A bunch of colorful fish flashed above his head. His eyes glare at the beauty of the underwater world.

Valeda still remembers clearly, when Alex lifted him over the shoulder, so that Valeda could see the fish more clearly.

Valeda stuck her hand up, as if she was about to grab the sparkle of the fish.

Valeda flinched as suddenly someone hugged her from behind. His brain stopped working so surprised, but his sense of smell knew who was behind him.

"Meet," he whispered.

Valeda swallowed his saliva with great difficulty. His heart is beating fast. He could feel the blood rushing to his head.

"Follow me!"

A pull on his hand forced Valeda to go along with the source of the sound. Valeda's eyes were fixed on the back of the head of the person walking in front of him. Valeda could feel the warmth of the man's hand. His face was hot.

They arrived at the rest area. Valeda looked up as the person before him turned around. "Never run like that from me!"

"Why?" asked Valeda in a soft voice.

"Don't go to a place where I can't see you" he said in a soft voice.

Valeda could not take his eyes off the eyes of his interlocutor. 'You cheated.' Valeda lamented inwardly.
