"Huhoo! Huhuhoo! Hiks, hiks! Huhuhu" Madam Emely's cry broke out, echoing throughout Mr. Suherman's room.
Mr. Suherman smiled wryly at his wife's behavior which could be said to be childish at this time. He rubbed on Mrs Emely's back, trying to appease Mrs Emely.
Valeda scratched his head that was not itchy. She felt somewhat guilty when she saw Madame Emely start crying.
That afternoon, after finishing her work for the day, Valeda paid a visit back to her parents' house. Madam Emely was already waiting for him in the middle room while shaking her waist. Originally, Madam Emely had only put on a pouting face. However, when Valeda opened her mouth to speak, Madam Emely immediately cried.
Valeda knew what made her mother cry. Yeah, of course because Valeda's blind date failed again. Raphael even dropped the name of Madame Emely from the VIP list at Raphael's diamond shop. For Mrs Emely who really likes shiny things, it really makes her sad.
"Darling, don't cry anymore" asked Mr. Suherman.
"Yahwaaaa! Huhuhoo! Hiks, hiks!" madam Emely's crying is getting louder. Mr. Suherman covered his ears with both hands.
Valeda took a long breath. "Mama..." Valeda softened her voice. "Val doesn't want to be in a romantic relationship with the person who solved the problem using the gift. It was like he was free to do anything, the important thing was that he had already covered Val's mouth with a gift from him," Valeda tried to explain his line of thought.
"Stay, Val!" exclaim Mrs Emely. His face was swollen and his eyes were swollen. "Leaving the new Raphael, where's your manners?"
Valeda bit her lower lip. He did not deny how disrespectful he was last night, simply by leaving Raphael alone at that table.
"How's this, Pa?" Madam Emely turned to her husband who was sitting quietly next to her.
"What's how?" ask Mr. Suherman kalem.
"Our daughters failed dating twice in a row. This is a bad sign!" sahut Madam Emely.
Mr. Suherman smiled at his wife's worries. "really?" Mr. Suherman asked back. "Isn't it because our child is too smart and valuable? It's possible that those boys can't keep up with Valeda."
Madame Emely hit her husband's arm softly. "This you, always defending Valeda!"
"Not defending, dear. Valeda is very similar to me. He was intelligent and ambitious," Mr. Suherman still held firm to his thoughts.
Valeda, who had heard the defense from her father, felt very grateful. Mr. Suherman was indeed the one who understood most what Valeda wanted.
'Mama must now understand what I think" Valeda said in her heart. She doesn't want to follow a blind date anymore, and her father this time is supportive.
Madam Emely let out a long sigh. His eyes were on Valeda again. "Later tonight, come to our family restaurant. Seven o'clock."
Valeda gawked in disbelief after hearing Mrs Emely's words. "What, Ma?" tanyakanya.
"Mama ordered the table. So don't be late!" Madame Emely got up from her seat, then passed from the living room without regard to the protesting gaze of Valeda.
"Father! How'this?" valeda Whim.
Mr. Suherman simply smiled in response to his desperate son. "You know how your mother, Val, is" said Mr. Suherman.
Valeda groaned with anxiety. She still doesn't want to believe that Mrs Emely decided to date her again. In two days, she had already followed two exhausting blind dates. Isn't that enough to prove that this affair is not going well and is just a waste of time?
Mr. Suherman glanced at his watch. "When you meet in an hour. Just wanna rest here?" haggard Mr. Suherman.
"Papa will ask ART to prepare your room. Come in after ten minutes" said Mr. Suherman. "Papa wants to continue working."
Valeda nodded to answer Mr. Suherman's words. As soon as Mr. Suherman disappeared from behind the living room door, Valeda pulled out his smartphone to contact Kris.
"Yes, Miss?" greet Kris from across. "Will Miss be home now?"
"No. I'm resting here. An hour to go" Valeda stopped talking, because it was so hard to go on a date.
"What's up, Miss?" kris asked, finding his boss suddenly silent.
Valeda lazily explained it to Kris. He's not gonna help. Kris would even side with Mrs Emely to spy on Valeda.
"Just so. You're relieved!" sahut Valeda and hang up. Valeda leaned back for a moment to the sofa. She tries to think positively about her third date.
"For my first and second dates, it may be a good sign for a third blind date set up by Mama" Valeda tried to convince himself.
Ten minutes later, Valeda went to his room to rest. The room that accompanied him since he was three years old. However, right now he was very rarely occupied.
Not because the room is uncomfortable. Mr. Suherman tried very hard to decorate Valeda's room into a private apartment (minus the living room). But, still Valeda chose to get out of the house and live alone.
Valeda felt uncomfortable if she had to deal with her three brothers. To be more precise, he did not know how to start a conversation with three family people that felt foreign to him.
"Hi, Val!" a heavy voice that sounded foreign, was heard as Valeda passed through the hallway of his house.
Valeda looked back, finding a man who looked exactly like Mrs Emely, leaning against the sky-blue door leaf. "Hi, Brother Joan," replied Valeda. He stopped asking about the news of his second brother, because from the expression on his face, it was clear that Joan was fine.
"Tumben's at home?" Joan continues the conversation.
"The one who asks" Valeda replied.
"You better not cry often for Mama" Joan advised. "Don't be like Alexandre who is currently single. Mama's really frustrated with that one kid."
Apparently, the situation did not get along with his three older brothers, not changed since childhood. Valeda actually did not want to interfere or side with anyone among them.
"What about Joan's sister?" Valeda. Joan, who had such cold comments about their first brother, was not a person to be proud of.
If a wealthy family had several children living in luxury since childhood, surely some or more of them would be too complacent. That's what Joan is like.
This second child of Mr. Suherman and Mrs Emely, could be said to be the most problematic. Joan loves to party, get drunk, and change girlfriends. His behavior often made Mr. Suherman lose face in public.
Valed was the savior for Mr. Suherman. Valeda's remarkable achievements, as well as his stunning visuals, boosted Mr. Suherman's popularity.
"Isn't having a boyfriend better than nothing?" Joan defended herself. "At least, I didn't become an old virgin like Alex or considered to have sexual perversion like Lucas."
"I didn't come here to hear the chattering of Brother Joan" Valeda said. He turned around and walked quickly to his room. Don't forget he locked the door as soon as he walked in. "A bad decision to go back to this room" Valeda muttered while shaking his head.
