Valeda grabbed Daniel by the hand and squeezed him. "Don't be nervous" he whispered before Daniel got out of the car.

Daniel answered with a charming smile. Then, he got out of the car to open the door for Valeda. Daniel reached out as Valeda lowered one leg.

Valeda received Daniel's hand. He felt he could not miss the opportunity to join Daniel. "Makasi," Valeda said as they began to walk side by side.

"This is the first time I've seen your house in person" Daniel said.

Some luxury cars seem to have been parked neatly on the streets of Valeda's house. There have been many family members who have come, especially the brothers of Mr. Suherman.

The dim garden lights add to the romantic impression between them. Daniel and Valeda pass through the path that surrounds the house of Valeda. His steps lead them to the back garden, where a dinner party is held.

The flower garden belonging to Mrs Emely has been conjured up in such a way, that it becomes an extraordinarily beautiful gathering place. Decorative lights flickering like stars. The beautiful sound of the violin spoils the ears of the invited guests. Fragrant food filled the garden.

"Let's go see Papa and Mama" asked Valeda.

Daniel sighed, then puffed out his chest. He's ready for everything that's going to happen tonight.

Valeda pulled Daniel's hand toward one of the tables, where Lady Emely was sitting while chatting with Valeda's aunts.

"Good night, Ma," said Valeda.

Madam Emely turned to hear Valeda's voice. Her happy face turned wry when she found Daniel next to Valeda.

"Good night, ma'am," Daniel slightly bowed. "Your taste is great for this dinner" Daniel added in praise.

"When are you coming, son?" Mrs Emely did not comment on Daniel's greeting. Seemed intentional, indeed. But Daniel tried not to put it in his heart. He wanted to keep the atmosphere of this wonderful dinner until the end of the event.

"Just now, Ma" replied Valeda. "Have Val's brothers come too?" Valeda changed the subject.

"So they were here. Probably greeting other guests" said Mrs Emely. "Why did you bring him here, Val?"

"Emely, why so ketus?" sidelines for Madame Evan who sits next to Madame Emely.

"Yes, Em. It is not good if you continue to oppose your child's relationship so" said Mrs Reyki.

"Good night, introduce me to Daniel" Daniel said to the two middle-aged women sitting with Mrs Emely.

"We already know about you" replied Mrs Reyki. "We are the aunt of Valeda. I'm Reyki, and he's Evan."

Daniel bowed once more to say hello. "I've read an article about you, Madam. You guys are such amazing women."

Mrs Evan and Mrs Reyki laughed proudly at Daniel's praise. "How long have you known Valeda, Daniel?" ask Mrs Reyki.

"About two months" Daniel answered. "I fell in love with Valeda at first sight. I mean, who wouldn't fall in love with a beautiful woman like Valeda? Lies his name when I say I don't look at women from his face."

"Every man is like that, right?" timpal Mrs Reyki.

"You're right, Rey," replied Mrs Evan. "If we don't have the capital to look like, surely our husbands won't choose us."

"People say, a beautiful woman will give birth to sweet children" Daniel added.

Mrs Evan and Mrs Reyki laughed again. "If you're single, Dan. I'd like to introduce you to my son" said Mrs Evan.

"Didn't you remember his social status?" great-grandson of Madame Emely. He still disagrees with Valeda and Daniel's relationship. "It's okay if women only have faces. But if her man is only face-to-face"

"But what I heard, Daniel's the manager of an orphanage?" cut off Mrs Reyki. "You're managing it alone?"

Valeda swallowed his saliva with great difficulty. Again, he was almost swept away by the dreadful seduction of Daniel which must have been a mere charade.

"It's like hearing the modern-day dramas 'Romeo and Juliet'" Evan said. "By the way, three of your sisters got scholarships at top universities, right?"

"really. They have done well" replied Daniel.

"It just so happens that my son will also enter that university. I'll ask my son to help your brothers there later."

"Thank you very much, Madam!" daniel answered quickly with a smile.

"In that case, I will also ask my son to attend that university" said Mrs Reyki. "At least, my daughter could choose one of Daniel's younger siblings."

"Well, you're fierce too, huh?" seductress Evan.

Valeda glanced at Madame Emely who was just silent. In the slightest, there was no condescending expression from her mother. It is not easy to melt the heart of his mother who is like a stone, just like him.

"Night, Daniel!" a greeting from someone interrupted their conversation. "How are you?"

"Night, Brother Lucas," replied Daniel. "I'm good, as always."

"Have you met Daniel?" ask Mrs Emely to Lucas.

"Ah... Yeah..." Lucas found no reason to lie. "I'm trying to make sure my sister's okay with a boy. So, I went to see them."

"I didn't think you guys were that close?" Madam Emely looked very suspicious.

"Isn't it good if I can get them close?" cut Daniel.

Madame Emely kicked the table while standing up. He raised his chin high, wanting to show that he was angry. "Suach to you!" he said and walked right off his desk.

Daniel took a long breath. "It seems like whatever I do will remain wrong in Mrs Emely's eyes" she told Valeda.

"Not to be so thoughtful, Dan," Madame Evan replied. "Just enjoy your dinner."

"Thank you, Madam."

Valeda's hand, still hanging spoiled in Daniel's arm, suddenly squeezed Daniel's arm. Daniel looked down to make sure. Valeda answered Daniel's questioning gaze by nodding at the crowd of women not far from where they were standing.

"It looks like we have to say hello to Valeda's other brother" Daniel said. "It's nice to meet the beautiful ladies tonight" said Daniel, bowing.

"Tante, Val go there first, yeah!" Valeda follow pamit.

"Yes, your handsome girlfriend, don't keep it hidden" said Mrs Reyki.

Valeda hurriedly pulled Daniel away. Lucas followed behind them in silence. "He's my second brother. Joan," said Valeda. The look in his eyes could not be separated from the horde of women surrounding a tall, silver-haired man.

"Are you going to say hello now?" ask Lucas.

"We can't keep avoiding it" Daniel replied. "Is he really the most dangerous?"

"Yes. He's the kind of man who will crush his enemies to their deepest roots" Lucas said.

"Origin didn't become his enemy, I'm safe, right?" ask Daniel. He did not think of himself who was in danger. However, he thought about his younger siblings in the orphanage. If he had an enemy with a bad reputation like Joan, his sisters would be the ones to lose.
