55. First Time

"Love!"

The call made Valeda and Daniel turn to the source of the voice. Valeda could see Rangga looking back at them, looking back and forth. He must be looking for Valeda's whereabouts.

"Rang—" not yet done Valeda answered Rangga's call, Daniel had already pulled him to leave. "And that's Rangga nyariin me" said Valeda, but still follow Daniel.

"I won't let you go where he belongs" Daniel's voice sounded like a growl.

Valeda tried not to think about anything, but still his heart sided with Daniel. He was happy to see Daniel find him. Honestly, Valeda is grateful that Daniel is currently pulling his hand, not Rangga.

Valeda shook her head violently. He tried to get rid of the absurd imaginations about Daniel. 'We only date on contract!' Valeda reminded himself again. 'If Daniel finds the moorings of his heart, I will no longer be of any use!'

Daniel finally stops dragging Valeda, when they arrive at the tiger rides. Daniel encouraged Valeda to go up the stairs and sit there. The audience's admiration for the tiger attraction on stage made them pause for a moment.

Valeda regulated his breathing. He looked at Daniel who was sitting quietly next to him. Daniel's face looked angry. Valeda knew that Daniel was thinking about something, but refused to say it.

Valeda lowered his head, looking at their hands that were still clinging to each other on Daniel's knees. 'Did Daniel not realize he was still holding my hand?' thought Valeda. Valeda touched Daniel's arm to get his attention. The arm that was touched the other day by Daniel's ex-girlfriend.

Daniel looked in shock, then took off Valeda's hand. "Sorry," he said awkwardly.

"Isn't it too late to apologize?" Valeda. "Rather than apologizing, I want you to explain what happened. Why are you taking me away from Rangga and why are you angry" Valeda said.

Daniel pulled his hair back. "No idea" replied Daniel ambiguously. "I was angry when I saw you with him. So, I'm taking you out."

"I told you, he's my best friend. We've been close since childhood. After all, we are family," Valeda defended Rangga. He began to think that what Rangga said in the car earlier, was true.

"Why not take me? Why can't you be contacted?"

"You were mad at me this morning, remember?" ask Valeda.

"Why do you always stir up my anger?" grumbled Daniel with an annoyed face.

Valeda's eyebrows are up. "What's? Me? Foment your anger?" Valeda laughed loudly. "You are not clear! You're hiding a lot of secrets from me! Do you think I'm not upset? Just look at ting–"

Without warning, Daniel landed a kiss right on Valeda's lips, leaving Valeda speechless. He could feel Daniel's lashes tickling his cheeks. Valeda closed his eyes. Although she had trouble breathing, Valeda enjoyed the warm touch of Daniel's lips.

Daniel's hand touched Valeda's cheek, slowly moving down her nape. Valeda's hair bristles feeling Daniel's touch on his skin.

Daniel took off his kiss. He looked straight at Valeda. The glare of his eyes confirmed that he was ready to be slapped. "Val.." whispered Daniel, for Valeda had no reaction. "Sorry for this one..."

Valeda just wanted to ask for exactly what Daniel apologized for, but Daniel has already****** his lips again. This time it was not just a kiss, but more intense.

Valeda moved awkwardly. This is the first time she's had a kiss. He was surprised because he liked it. It felt like there were a thousand butterflies that burst out from his stomach, just like the love songs he had heard.

Just as the next cheers rang out, Daniel pulled back. His eyes were like he was drunk. Her cheeks looked red.

"Ka... You okay, Dan?" Valeda cupped Daniel's cheek, anxious about Daniel's change in expression.

Daniel laughed at Valeda's words. Valeda who from the beginning did love Daniel's shag teeth, became more and more fascinated. "Look, Val! The one who should be worried about that is you. Your face is red like a boiled crab" Daniel said.

Valeda immediately covered his face with both hands. "Don't look at me!" shy grandchild.

Daniel held onto both of Valeda's wrists and pulled her slowly. "Don't be covered," he said in a soft tone. "You are so beautiful..."

Daniel and Valeda bowed, looking at Valeda's roaring belly. "You hungry?" ask Daniel.

"Aaaaah! Don't know!" Valeda stood up, about to flee.

Daniel hastily catches Valeda's hand before he manages to escape. "We go together. I don't want to hand you over to that man anymore" Daniel said. His face looked serious, so Valeda did not dare to refute.

Actually, Valeda was still doubtful with everyone around him. Daniel has a desire for revenge and his relationship with Valeda. Then, Mr. Suherman and Rangga who seemed to be silent about what happened actually.

Did Daniel actually want revenge on his father for causing Daniel's father to lose his job? The question popped into Valeda's head.

Daniel held Valeda by the hand, as if he was afraid that Valeda would run away again like that. His eyes moved alertly, unwilling to cross paths with Rangga in the middle of the road. "Oh yeah, Val... I came here by taxi. I hope you don't mind taking a taxi back to your apartment" Daniel said, looking to the side.

Valeda nodded to answer. His tongue is still muddy. His mind was still floating around as Daniel kissed her gently.

"What do you want to eat?" daniel asked as they reached the entrance of the zoo.

"Anything" Valeda replied with a bowed face.

Daniel stopped a taxi that happened to pass, and then they went straight in. Daniel immediately informed the taxi driver of their destination.

Daniel leaned against the chair and turned towards Valeda. "Val, are you okay?" ask Daniel.

Valeda did not dare to return Daniel's gaze. It felt, his heart would explode if their gaze met. "What am I really doing?"

Daniel smiled. "You're so pretty when you're so shy. It was no different from an ordinary girl. Very sweet."

"Aaaargh! Don't keep teasing me!" Valeda punched Daniel in the arm. "You made me weird like this!"

"Hehehe" Daniel was a whimper. "Yes, yes, I will take full responsibility." Daniel stroked Valeda's head.

Valeda crossed his arms in front of his chest. "Ehem!" he's cleared his throat. It was a bit difficult for him to ask about his own personal matters. "I want to ask you something important."

"Yes, you can talk" Daniel replied casually.

"W-are you going to see him again?" ask Valeda nervously.

"Who do you mean?" Daniel did not understand.

Valeda sneered, as if she was disgusted at calling out a name that was on her head.

This made Daniel understand. "You mean Diamond?"

Valeda threw away his face. It was obvious that he did not like Diamonds. Valeda suddenly realized one thing. He hated to mention the name Diamond, just as Daniel would not say the name Rangga.

Daniel plays Valeda's hair with his fingers. "He's one of the ashdos at my college. There is no way I always avoid it" replied Daniel kalem.
