Daniel and Valeda sat side by side on one of the five-footed stalls. Two bowls of chicken noodles reflecting thin white smoke were presented in front of them. His wit was even able to make Daniel's stomach scream, even though he was tense at the moment.
"Es the tea, Mas" a woman of Valeda's age offered two glasses of iced tea in front of Daniel. Not forgetting he was blinking spoiled when the look in his eyes met Daniel's eyes.
"Makasi, Ma'am," Daniel replied simply, but obviously the woman caught him excessively.
"If you need anything, call me, yes" replied the woman. "My name is Mary."
"Oh... Okay," Daniel replied expressionlessly. He knew that smiling at a time like this would give Mary false hope. Moreover, there was a very pronounced killing intent next to him.
"Yourself?" valeda asked as Maria breezed away.
"Hahahaha," Daniel laughed softly. "Do you think of yourself as the same woman you were? Equally flirty?" Daniel asked back.
Valeda, who felt that she was Daniel's current lover, became ashamed of herself. His face turned red. "No" he answered half-murmuring.
Daniel stroked Valeda's head full of affection. "I'm sorry.." he said slowly.
"Why?"
Daniel stared at the chicken noodles in front of Valeda. "We should eat first. I'll tell you everything after we finish eating," Daniel decided. "I don't want our appetite to be lost because of this. The noodles are getting cold too."
Valeda nodded in understanding. "All right."
They finally enjoyed the food that was before them in silence. The voices of those around them did not even become a nuisance. Valeda and Daniel were immersed in their own thoughts. Valeda was too afraid of what he would hear from Daniel any minute, but was also very curious about what Daniel was planning.
'Ah... I also had to tell Daniel about my memory of returning, though not perfect, ' Valeda thought.
About fifteen minutes later, they finally finished their meal. Daniel didn't mean to waste time, so he didn't wait for some undigested food in his stomach to start the conversation.
"I'm sorry to have dragged you this far" Daniel began.
Valeda shook his head quickly. He didn't really mind what Daniel did. Valeda believes what Daniel did was not a bad thing. However, he was speechless. At first, Valeda was convinced that he was good at judging people. His confidence has recently declined. But he was too afraid to speak his thoughts from his own mouth.
"Actually, I've known you since the first time I saw you" Daniel said. But, when he caught the clueless look on his face from Valeda, Daniel quickly continued. "It's not because you're a famous person, it's not because your face often appears in newspapers, magazines, and other electronic media."
"Then, you mean, you recognize me because we've met before?" terkah Valeda's. "But, isn't that when we're both little? My face has changed so much, right? I don't even recognize you."
Daniel smiled faintly. There was happiness and sadness in his smile. "Maybe you don't remember because you were so little back then. But I loved you more than anything when we were kids. I feel so happy to be by your side."
Valeda's face immediately met with red. He could feel the hot steam coming out of his ears. "W-what made you feel that way about me?" tanyanya.
"Because you're not looking down on me. You treat me like a normal human being. Not as a monster." Daniel looked far ahead, as if reminiscing about the times he was talking about now. "I'm not like any other kid. My thoughts are different and I like to do things beyond expectations. The teachers didn't like me because I was different and too smart. Of course my parents were always on my side, but the world out there was different. What was in front of me at that time was terrifying. But..." Daniel turned to Valeda who was sitting quietly next to him, "you want to accept me. You play with me."
"I know, the fire made everything fall apart. Those beautiful days must finally end as well. But, the fact that your father ruined my family, even after my father was no longer working for your father, made me angry. I'm upset. Real angry. So angry, I was even able to burn your father alive."
The feathers of Valeda bristled when it heard Daniel's confession. He swallowed with difficulty.
"I hate your father, but I love you so much. When I met you, it was that feeling that made me recognize you. You always live in my heart, between anger and love." Daniel stroked Valeda's hair full of affection. "Initially, I wanted revenge. I want your father to feel how painful it is to lose something most precious."
Valeda is not evasive. He knows the story behind Daniel's heartache. How he lost his mother, his father, even his sister. Valeda can understand the grudge Daniel has.
"But once you are again, everything is gone... I just want to be happy with you. I want to protect you as much as possible." Daniel's voice is deep. Her eye lashes implied something serious this time. "Until someone bullies us."
Valeda still did not want to mention the name of the person he suspected so blatantly. "What's your plan?" ask Valeda.
"Make him angry. Most angry people will be careless. At that time I will get proof of all his actions" replied Daniel.
"Are you sure he's the one?" Valeda is still in doubt. In fact, he had hoped that his conjecture was wrong.
"He had to fall into my trap first to be the culprit," Daniel replied briefly.
"What can I do now?"
Daniel shrugged his shoulders. "Waiting?"

PRANGS!!!
The sound of broken glass echoed within the large-sized room filled with luxury items. The room was half destroyed. Fractions of different types of glass were scattered around every corner. Three people dressed in all black in the middle of the room, were full of injuries. Whether it's glass scratches, and also blunt force punches. Meanwhile, the person who made the room chaotic, stood in front of his work desk with a flushed face.
"ACTUALLY, WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING!?" screeched in an annoyed tone. He grabbed a wooden statue the size of his arm, then threw it at one of the men standing not far from him.
The statue hit the head of the target, making the man stagger and then collapse. Fresh blood dripped from his temple. But he hurriedly got up and stood up straight again. He tried not to heed the throbbing pain in his head.
"YYYYYYARRGGGHHH!!!" yells.
"Tu-Master, we'll finish it quickly!" said one of the men. It is undeniable that he is afraid of his master. He wanted to run away immediately, yet he was hired indeed for this matter.
His master's eyes flashed hearing that. He realized that his master would not accept any reason. Although he was not the one who was wrong, his master would still vent his anger on him.
"Well," his master hissed, making the atmosphere of the room colder. "One more chance. Impress me!"
