22. Fragrant

The furore in Valeda's office lasted a long time. Valeda, a workaholic, falls in love with a simple man who is nobody. In fact, because of his love, Valeda gave an important role in the company to the man.

Valeda took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly, before following Daniel into the car.

"I'm sorry, I'm still thinking about my job at the office" Valeda said as she sat next to Daniel.

"If Miss is busy, it shouldn't force itself to go to the orphanage" Daniel replied.

"Mrs Emely is moving slowly this time," Kris commented.

Valeda was silent for a few seconds. He thought the same thing. "I'm starting to worry if Mama's like that."

"Could it be that Madame Emely is rethinking about a blind date for Miss?" terka Daniel's.

"No way!" Valeda shuddered in horror. "I've made this great drama. There's no way Mama still has any intention of telling me to go on a blind date again. Don't fret!" valeda Protest.

Valeda glanced at Kris from the rearview mirror, coincidentally Kris also replied to Valeda's glance. They both have complete parents. Neither Valeda nor Kris knew how to comfort a friend who had no parents.

"Don't bother to entertain" Daniel added. "That's long gone. I'm not so sad anymore."

Valeda breathed a sigh of relief hearing Daniel say so. Valeda is not the kind of person who is good at small talk, let alone entertain people.

"I mean, while Miss's parents are still complete, it's good that Miss tries to continue to convince them that Miss can be responsible for what Miss chooses" Daniel said.

"I agree with Miss Val" Kris said. "I wouldn't even go inside her house if one of Miss Val's sisters was home."

Daniel scratched his head awkwardly. "I'm sorry, I'm too busy working on this and that" Daniel replied.

Without feeling it, their long journey was simply missed. Valeda and Daniel were busy discussing their likes and the things they used to do.

The children of the orphanage who knew of Valeda's arrival, welcomed Valeda at the front door. It's not complete, but it's mostly there. Some of them are still busy with school so that until the afternoon they have not returned to the orphanage.

"East, kids!" Valeda waved cheerfully at the orphanage dwellers waiting for him with sparkling eyes.

Valeda smiled amusedly hearing them answer like they were replying to their teacher's greeting at school. "Today, Brother will help Brother Dan cook for our dinner. You have to eat a lot, yeah!"

"Yeah!" answer them loudly.

Beautiful, Lia, and Nana who saw Kris carrying a lot of groceries, immediately approached Kris and took each one shopping bag. The originally silent rose, reached out with her hand, asking Kris to give her something to carry as well.

"Be careful, yes," Kris handed a pack of minced meat to the Rose.

The rose was happy because Kris had entrusted her something to carry. She actually stepped carefully towards the kitchen, following her other three older brothers.

"Please," Daniel invites Valeda to go into his orphanage. "Before, did Miss ever cook?"

"Miss?" Daniel tucked Valeda's hair behind his ear. "Miss is okay?"
