Valeda decided not to challenge Daniel any further. Valeda caught the serious look that Daniel cast.

"Are you right not to have breakfast with me?" ask Valeda again.

"Not not want. But I had breakfast. I want to do a few more things at the office. Then there's class later in the afternoon." Daniel took Valeda's hand off. "Don't set the AC too cold and eat too much!" order Daniel before actually leaving Valeda alone again in his apartment.

Valeda's mood went bad. Daniel just left. They haven't even fixed up properly.

"Yes! Up yours! What's important about our relationship!" valeda exclaimed, though Daniel had gone far away and could not have heard.

Valeda returned to the room to change clothes. She's going to dress as pretty as she can today. Valeda decides to enjoy his day off and forget about the problems that arise because of a Daniel. She chose her favorite pink mini dress as a cover. Then, go outside her apartment.

"Ah yes... I told Kris to leave" Valeda murmured as he reached the lobby of his apartment. Valeda pulled out her phone and called someone to pick her up. "Who knows he's free" said Valeda.

Long Valeda waited, until finally his phone was connected to the intended person. "Hi, Love! Tumben you called?" greet the man across.

"Morning, Rangga," Valeda said hello. "I'm sorry I interfered. Are you busy?" ask Valeda.

"Not if it's for you."

Rangga's answer made Valeda's mood rise. His best friend is reliable. Valeda knew, even though he did not ask if Rangga was busy or not, Rangga would come to him whenever Valeda wanted to. And Valeda will do the same for his best friend.

"I'm on leave" Valeda began. "Ka-"

"I'll be there. Give me ten minutes" cut Rangga.

"Oh, are you around my apartment?" ask Valeda.

"Yes. I happen to be buying something around your place. Wait for me, yeah!"

Valeda smiled slightly. "okay." Valeda put his phone back in his bag. He went to the sofa that was near the exit and decided to wait for Rangga there.

While daydreaming and letting her mind go wherever she likes, guilt suddenly comes to Valeda.

"Wait on! It's not like I'm having an affair with Rangga, is it?" he muttered while rubbing his pointed chin. "No, no! Daniel and I didn't have a special relationship in the first place, so there was no harm in meeting my best friend" Valeda assured her decision.

(Ten minutes later.).

"Love!" Rangga called from the entrance of the apartment as soon as he saw Valeda there.

Valeda withdrew his gaze from the magazine in his hand and looked up towards the entrance. "Hi, Ranges!" swipe back, then put the magazine into its place. Valeda hurriedly approached Rangga. "Wow! You actually came in ten minutes!" praise Valeda.

Rangga offered a bouquet of red roses. "Make you, your favorite flower" said Rangga.

Valeda accepted it with pleasure. 'This child is good at making my feelings improve, ' Valeda's mind is happy. "Makasi, Ga. Repot everything."

"So, what are you asking me to come here for?" ask Rangga.

Valeda laughed softly hearing that. "You haven't changed, have you? Always come hastily to me, even if you don't know why."

"I'm afraid you've changed your mind. So I came as soon as I could." Rangga finally realized with the appearance of Valeda. "You dandan?" tanyakanya. "Do you want me to take you to your boyfriend's? But aren't you an office? Is this some kind of surprise?"

"You're asking too many questions, Ga!" Valeda punched Rangga's arm slowly. "Come on, accompany me to breakfast!" Valeda walked first to Rangga's car parked in front of the lobby.

Rangga immediately aligns his steps with Valeda, then opens Valeda's door. "Please," he said.

Valeda got into the car. "Thank you" he answered.

Rangga's car drove to the place Valeda mentioned to enjoy a fairly late breakfast. During the trip, Valeda did not say much. He looked out the window, back to daydreaming.

"You got a problem?" ask Rangga.

"What problems can bother me?" answer Valeda flat.

Rangga pulled the handbrake and turned to the woman on his left. "Daniel."

Valeda turned his head when Rangga mentioned Daniel's name. "Why is he a problem for me?" ask Valeda.

"Daniel doesn't like me, does she?" guess Rangga, even though he doesn't need an answer from Valeda. Rangga knew that was certain. "From the beginning, he didn't like me."

"I don't think so" said Valeda.

Rangga laughed softly. "Yes, she is," Rangga assured. "He's like he'll pounce on me if I take you away." Rangga rubbed Valeda's head. "I didn't think you'd find someone so soon."

Valeda bit her lower lip. He could not say about the secret of his contract to Rangga though. Rangga is indeed his best friend, but it could have backfired in his plan. Valeda wants to keep this all right.

"But I can't say he's a good man. I don't know him" added Rangga. "Do you want to talk about Daniel?"

Valeda. "No. I don't want to talk about him."

"Oooh, apparently you guys are having a problem," Rangga drew a conclusion.

Valeda couldn't tell the real problem. He couldn't possibly say that he was suspicious about the burn scar on Daniel's neck.

"The beginning of dating is difficult, but it will pass if the love between you is strong," Rangga gave advice.

"You're good at talking. How many women have been your victims?" asked Valeda while giggling amusedly. As Valeda remembers, Rangga never had a lover let alone a courtship.

"Look, I love sincerely" said Rangga.

"really?" Valeda becomes a punishment. "Who is that woman? You never told me about him."

"It's a man's business. There's no point in you knowing who he is" Rangga rubbed Valeda's head again.

Valeda brushed off Rangga's hand. "Hey, I've been doing my hair for almost half an hour!" his protest. "But, Ga, I can help you get that woman."

Rangga sighed. "My love has been a one-handed love for years. I want to let it be that way."

"What's!? Years and I don't know anything!?" great-grandson Valeda. "That means I know this woman, right? We were together since childhood. I must know who he is."

"Yes, you do know who he is. But don't try to help me!" rangga's orders. "Now, we should focus on you, Love. You called me on leave, which means you need an impingement to change your mood, right?"

Valeda regained consciousness of the problem. He leaned lethargic on the car seat while sighing. "You're right. I should have had fun today."

"Hmmm, after eating, let's go to the zoo. Then have lunch together. After that we can try rafting."

"But I'm wearing a dress" Valeda lamented.

"We can buy clothes that suit you later." Rangga pulled over at a restaurant owned by Valeda. "Today, have fun! I'm gonna take a lot of photos for me to remember."

Valeda held Rangga's hand. "thank you. You're my best friend."

Rangga smiled widely. "Yes, I know."
