I'mawakened. My eyes opened and I blinked quickly to focus. But what I found was a pitch-black feel that made me question in my heart whether or not I really woke up. I tried to feel my surroundings and I began to realize that I was lying on something soft. It was a bed.

I got up and refused to touch her further. Who knows what this bed will be used for.

Strangely in this darkness I am not afraid. I couldn't look around, but there was nothing in this room that triggered my fear.

There was no sound and no light. I decided to move, put my feet on the floor and try to find anything that might be used as a reference to where I was being held. I kneeled slowly, then groaned softly as my injured knee touched the floor.

I put my hands on the floor, but I got a stabbing pain and switched off my senses for a moment. I clasped my hand tightly as the pain began to travel to my wrist. I can now recall most of the events I experienced and as I leaned back, all the pain slowly came together.

Remembering the incident only made me even more angry, instead of scared or upset. Only anger remains. I was given three chances to run, but none of them made it through. I was too slow, too weak even just to run inside the store. I felt like an undead when I faced the incident where I was thrown easily into the trunk and more unfortunate, there was no one around me at that time.

As soon as my eyes were fixed with brown eyes glittering in the darkness, I began to realize that my stupidity was in his favor. He hit me, and he didn't even look at feathers. I should have been a little more vigilant when I found out he sent me a threatening letter. It seems the man was waiting for the right time to take me and now he's succeeding. Successfully kidnapped and held me in a place I did not know where I was.

I cussed on my stupidity that boldly went out alone. Plus the path I chose was a very lonely one. My choice made Mr. God free. He was wearing a mask, but I was already too familiar with his gaze. Only a glance can I recognize him.

I should have been aware of the situation around. If Mr. God had not interfered, he would have already had a plan. I am too relaxed indeed and assume what I fear is only one impossible thing to happen. And in the end, I myself am miserable.

I wanted to fool myself, but being in a dark room without light was already a sad punishment in my opinion.

I knelt down again, but this time I hugged my wrist to my chest as I had to edit slumped on this cold floor. It was cold concrete that felt like a layer of ice was purposely placed there. Small stones and sand were stuck on my knees as I stepped. No matter how much I blinked, the darkness did not even fade away at all or turn into light. I shuffled again, but somehow now I felt something in front of me. I sat down and leaned against my heels while extending my hand forward to feel my surroundings.

I feel like a fool when hands are regular into the air but find nothing. I tried to go back to the left and now I feel like I'm swiping something rough. I took a breath from the sudden contact and rubbed my arms and legs slowly to relieve the pain. I stretched out my hand again, still hugging my aching arm and allowing my fine arm to find out.

Unlike the cold ground, the surface I touched this time felt warmer. I knew it was a piece of wood because the flakes were on my skin. My hands rose higher and higher following the skeleton. Now I'm sure it's a ladder. I wonder how many stairs there are and I try to keep fumbling. Slowly but surely, I tried to crawl up the stairs.

I try to climb the stairs as quietly as possible. If it's a little wrong, plus if the man is out there, I'll definitely be back and get punished. I managed to climb the stairs. Step by step, but there are times when I make a thumping sound because it is still difficult to control my strength. Despite the pain, I still ignored it because I had to stay focused.

I tried to kneel even higher so that I could touch the doorknob perfectly. I really hope the room is unlocked. And my expression instantly changed when I found out that the door was locked.

That's when I realized I was stuck in this dark hole. The first thing I thought about was crying. But I'm sure crying won't help in this situation either, but when I find a locked door makes me feel defeated and I can't help my eyes start to glaze over. I looked down at the top step and pressed my head against the door.

There was a small light coming in from under the door, though it still looked dark. I approached and peered down to look between the small gaps.

I couldn't see anything from the dark light emitted outside, but I could faintly see something. I saw a washing machine across the small hallway and also a pile of laundry. That's not what I want to know. I slumped back down the stairs.

"What should you do now?" I bowed at my place. I have to get out of this place, but how? Pintunta's locked and again I haven't found a window. Do I have to wait for the man to come down and take a chance to escape?

I crossed out all the ideas that there was no way out of it, if indeed I managed to get out of this room, not necessarily I can get out of this house. I didn't memorize the house plan and it felt very impossible to do.

But I don't want to give up that fast.

I sighed again but immediately stopped when I heard the sound of footsteps above my head. The floor creaked and the steps were quite hard, then it got louder. I slowly went down the stairs, one by one. Even when I hadn't managed to get off the stairs, that person had already entered.

"Hallo darling. I know you won't shut up." He spoke in a cheerful tone while clapping happily. I tried to leave quickly, freeing myself from the man.

The Lord went down the stairs slowly, but threatened to make my heart beat in fear. I finally got back to touching the concrete and it gave my body goosebumps. The cold even seeps into the bone.

I looked down and the click made me look up. The lights in the living room, it suddenly cut my view to be blurry because it was immediately turned on by the lights.

"Don't close your face." He growled as I covered my face because of the glare.
