Aidan also immediately took the place next to me. He opened his own parcel and directly devoured it, "So how does it go about your Papa?" He started the conversation by discussing Papa who was actually very reluctant for me to discuss.
"Gue told Gio and he said he wanted to see Papa too. He also made a plan so we could meet the three." Aidan nodded his head, it seemed that he was quite sensitive to the reluctance I showed and he immediately changed the subject.
"Do you remember Denis? Temen I have a simple stall?" she asked, "She just came home from vacation and she took me to her house. He also hates you. I think he likes you." I laughed out loud hearing such an absurd story from him.
"No way," I said.
"Why is it not possible?" Aidan asked while displaying a look of astonished face.
"Please look at me! I'm just an ex-girl who managed to diet. If he knew for sure he'd be ilfil."
Rendi who was just busy with her food immediately laughed loudly, "Gadis gembrot?" he asked, "gue should have seen your appearance."
"Unfortunately you're too late to know" I said sneering at him and it made Rendi snort. Then I turned back to look at Aidan, "I don't dislike people who are interested in me but the problem is I want people who really accept me for who I am."
"But how can you know if you do not try to ngedate first with him," said Aidan.
"Make now I will refuse because I have to strengthen myself first to face my own family. Let alone make a date or ngedate, make regardless of my own problems I still have not found a way out." It's true for now I just want to focus on forming a new version of Areta first. For the others let's leave.
That's how my lunch break ended up being pretty fun. This was the routine I had been waiting for the most because it was only at lunch that I had someone willing to talk to me at length.
The rest of the next class I can pass well, but somehow the disgusting memories with the Lord were difficult for me to fill. That trashy guy like him really ruined my mood. When in the end I managed to finish school that day, I immediately rushed towards the bookstore. Along the way I vented my annoyance at the small stones and kicked them until they scattered. At least it can take away my emotions.
The journey filled with emotions finally led me to the bookstore. I sighed softly before entering and pushed to open the glass door. The bell above the door rang that made, Goddess suddenly smiled. He welcomed.
"Hello Aretta," her voice sounded limp as she called out to me. Oma came out from behind the counter and it turned out that she was wearing a pair of groups to help support her body in order to walk. The group tucked under his arm was clanking softly on the floor.
"Thank you Aretta. Though Aidan has forbidden Oma to make work but how can Om absent when the bookstore has begun to deserted visitors. I think people prefer to buy books online now and that makes Oma in a difficult position," worried look It emanated from his vegetable eyes. His voice sounded tired too. I wish I could help her but I'm sure there's little I can do.
"Oma is sick, Aretta," she said bluntly, "Oma has been sick for a long time and Oma doesn't know when she's going to survive" the news she gave me was like the deadliest blow ever. Just thinking if I was going to lose her alone had made me cry. She was the kind of grandmother I never had.
"Don't cry. You know, Oma was even grateful that oma could go faster. So Oma can rest with Oma's husband. But before that, Oma wants you to kabulin Oma's one request." I nodded quickly. I will try to help him as much as I can.
"Oma has a dream to make this store bigger. Oma wants to make a cafe that also rents books. According to Oma this is a business that we can start immediately because our sales are again declining. So what Oma wants you to help make Oma's wish come true. Oma already has a deposit and you have to handle everything. Later this effort will live people on behalf of you." My tears are flowing. I have experienced the bitterness of injustice in my life and the trust from Oma makes me grateful. He was very generous and I felt very touched.
"Aretta will do Oma's wish" I said determinedly. He pulled me into his arms and he said a lot of thanks that I should have said that.
"Oma will talk to Aidan and Oma also wants you to always be on Aidan's side." I wanted to protest but it coincided with Aidan entering the store. He seemed surprised to find out that the store was unlocked.
"Oma! Aidan told Oma to take a break at home." He sounded angry but was immediately cut off by Oma while gesturing for Aidan to help him.
"Help Oma because we need to talk. Cashier to keep Aretta's company."
They both omitted the staff room and I stayed here alone. I did everything I could. Like sorting books, composing, and serving incoming customers. Seeing a character that was no longer crowded made me speechless. I checked the sales records and what Oma Dewi said was true. Sales have really dropped drastically.
It turned out that their conversation was very time consuming as everything was finished coinciding with the closing hours of the store. Aidan and Oma Dewi appeared but the look on their faces was full of gaps. Aidan put on a flat face with a gaze that held a sense of disbelief while Oma put on a face full of relief. Silence helped Oma to get into the cab and then ordered me to close the shop.
He gestured me to keep following him and along the way there was only silence accompanying us. Aidan took me home. He let me in and sat down. Now he looks so messy.
The few minutes that were missed were filled only by silence. The man dissolved in his mind until I had no chance to calm him down. Aidan then moved from where he picked up a soda and a bottle of alcohol. He handed me a soda can.
"I think it's time I made up a story about my parents" he said suddenly.
