Aretta & Secrets

Aretta & Secrets
Night Jogging

"Aretta?" I heard Mr. Aidan calling me.

"Yes" I replied. But my voice sounded a little shaky. I immediately walked back to the counter with the Lord Sir who was also following me from behind. Mr. Aidan looked relieved when he found me, and his face suddenly turned hard when he met the Lord.

"God!" yells.

"Aidan. I like the concept of your store, I just stopped by to find a reading book," he said while lifting a book. But it was not the book he had chosen before. This book had already changed to 'Material Biology Learning'.

The Lord put the book on the counter table while taking out his wallet. Because Mr. Aidan is at the cashier table so the man helped complete the payment process.

I was just standing near them. My body is still shaking and a little relieved to be helped by the presence of Mr. Aidan. If now I am in front of the cashier table, I am not sure if I can complete this payment process properly, because just to look into the eyes of Lord God alone I feel I am unable to.

"Bye Aidan, Aretta." The man walked out of the shop cheerfully, like nothing had happened before. The sound of a bell above the door as a marker if the creature had disappeared along with the dark air he brought before.

Relief approached me. His departure really helped me to come back to life. I'm lucky today, if Mr. Aidan had been 1 minute late, something bad would have happened to me. The man never messed with his threat.

"Based on a freak. Why can schools accept people like that," said Mr. Aidan. I looked at him, a little surprised by his chirping. Just this time I met a person who was not fooled by the looks of the Lord.

All this time I only met people who glorified him.

Looking good and changing personality at certain times really hypnotizes almost everyone.

The talk about God stopped. The clock has shown almost 07:00 p.m. Mr. Aidan decided to immediately get ready to close the store. I helped him to tidy up the book, re-preserved the empty book, and returned the book that was not in the place it should be.

Mr. Aidan was seen often sighing harshly when he found a book that was out of place. We spent a long time just tidying up the books. He locked the shop twice before he decided to go home.

The sun has turned into the moon. The warm wind had turned cold and made me shiver a little because today I was wearing only a short-sleeved shirt.

"If I say goodbye. Good night," I said, then turned my body around and began to step towards the house. Mr. Aidan was still in front of the shop, the man seemed to be thinking about something.

"Aretta's. Let's go home together. I'll take you home. It's late at night and a lot of it around here" he bargained.

I do not understand the way I think at this time, because when my sanity returned I was in Mr. Aidan's car and was telling him my home address.

Mr. Aidan himself just nodded. He started driving his car out of the alley next to the store where it was parked. B

several times I saw him rubbing his palms together. It looks like he's also in the cold. I glanced at him and only realized that he was still wearing the short shirt and shorts he used this morning. This time he changed his shoes to sandals.

"Aren't you running?" my question, while pointing towards clothes that he still has not changed.

Mr. Aidan looked down to look at himself, then he smiled slowly and looked back at the road.

"The plan is to run away when we get home."

We passed through trees that swayed in the wind. The cold weather makes everyone race to stay at home which makes the streets even quieter. But it does not seem to dampen the spirit of teenagers who want to go out. Because along the way that looks only a collection of young children without any middle-aged creatures.

I directed Mr. Aidan to head to the area where I live. We arrived and he turned off the engine. Something he wouldn't have to do if he had come to take me home.

"Thank you for the ride. Bye," I said before jumping out of the car. Just now I was about to close the car door when he suddenly called out to me.

"You want to go home?" tanyakanya.

"No. I want some bad sports. Most run around the complex 2 rounds."

Mr. Aidan seemed to be silent and thoughtful. He seemed to be weighing something.

"Why run the night anyway," he grumbled, "beg! You run away just like me. It's night must be prone. I'll take you home for your mastiin to arrive safely. If this is the story, I will not know you are safe, do not nyampe house again." He followed me, opened the car door and got out. After putting on his shoes back Mr. Aidan completely locked the door of his car.

I started to wonder in my heart. Is it a good idea to run together? It would actually be safer for me, but would he be able to follow me?

"Are you sure you can come with me?" many ensure.

Mr. Aidan nodded and chuckled, "You want a bet?"

"Ehm ... I thought about it."

After saying that I immediately ran to the house. I put all my stuff in my room and changed my clothes. The house is still in a quiet condition so I'll be safe for now.

Mr. Aidan is still waiting there. I walked closer while stretching my muscles. Making sure all the parts got light training so I wouldn't cramp up the next day.

"Where do you run to?" I asked as soon as we started running.

I'm heading ahead. That's the direction I usually take when I run.

We started running at a slow speed. He and I both use earphones. Music runs in my ears which adds to my spirit, and it makes me run faster. It turns out that Mr. Aidan managed to keep up with my run. He even increased his running speed as if he was challenging me.

I'm guiding the route this time. Get out of the housing complex through the city library, government buildings, and into the streets are getting smaller.

I was about to turn when a hand pulled my arm tight.

"Don't go through there" he said. His face looks bad. It was like she was hiding something there.

I didn't want to argue and decided to follow his choice. I turned my body around and ran back to the crowded streets. This time we were almost on the main road. Some passing cars accidentally highlighted us and made the shadow turn big then shrink back.

We finally decided to take a rest in the park. I'm really curious about why we didn't take that road.
