I held my steps as a warm touch held my wrist.
"Sit down" said Mr. Aidan, "you shouldn't be angry with Rendi just because he and I decided on this. We're worried and you'll keep your mouth shut. If you do consider him your friend, you should be grateful because he is considerate of you. Quickly finish your food, otherwise I will finish your problem," threatened the man.
I can't believe Mr. Aidan even threatened me like this. Wasn't he just being soft yesterday? But today he looked more like he was stabbing me in the back.
I quickly complied and sat down and ate. It tastes good, but I don't say it clearly. I only focused on my food because the two men were still staring at me, following my every move that took a mouthful and chewed.
"Don't look!" I snapped at both. Their attitude really makes me nervous. I just took the next bribe when the two men started chatting.
"Pak it-" Rendi's sentence was interrupted by Mr. Aidan's voice.
"You two can call me Aidan. It was strange to be called sir when we had lunch together" he said.
I breathe out slowly. It turns out that the call didn't just happen to me. It seems I'm the only one who thinks more. I just kept quiet and didn't try to get into their conversation
"That's a casual word, sir?" Randy asked.
"Can. As long as there is only us" replied Mr. Aidan straightforwardly.
"So, I just want to say you can tell us about yourself."
I turned my head while looking at Rendi. This brat, he was too relaxed even that could be called impolite. Where there are students who are insolent use me lo to his teacher. I glanced at Mr. Aidan who just nodded looking no problem.
"What's the story about?"
"Usually those teachers liked the stories of their pleasant lives the most. You know what I mean. Usually it is a way to attract the interest of students and make students their same interest. But as far as I was taught you, you never told me anything about your life. I don't feel touched that. Keep because in the future we will often have lunch together, I just want us familiar."
I disagree with the use of the sentence that Rendi used, but I agree with the content of the sentence. I glanced at Mr. Aidan who seemed to be thinking. Did he really not feel bothered by this awkward state? Am I not the only one who feels awkward?
"Gue was born here" he said. I looked quickly at him. It was strange to hear him use me lo, "but moved out of town when he was thirteen. After graduating from college and getting a teacher certification, I returned to this city and taught to be a geography teacher at a newly built school. Fyi, I'm here from the school built," he explained.
"Keep what does it feel like?" this time the question was shown to me, "how was your first week when you moved here? Do you find something? During my school the atmosphere was too quiet and there was nothing interesting. So I want to know from your point of view" she said.
"There is nothing special, just like school in general," I said. Obviously it was a lie. I've been threatened not to talk about the taboo actions of the Lord and I have to keep my mouth shut if I want to survive.
"But I found a job here. Later in the afternoon I have started work," I said as I glanced at Mr. Aidan with the tip of my eye. I can see him smiling a little bit, "gue likes books and I hope I can work long hours until I graduate school" I continued. And start taking a bite of rice to tell them I'm done telling them.
"You're gonna have fun at your current job." Mr. Aidan said so. Quite confident and agreed directly by Rendi who does not know if I work in the place of Omanya Pak Aidan.
Mr. Aidan and Rendi have been involved in a conversation about geography that discusses the climate and income of the population in the European country there. I'm not hoarding. Just listening while trying to finish my food.
Half the portion of the rice box that Mr. Aidan bought has moved into my stomach. I'm already full. I carefully put the rest on the table and hoped that what I was doing would go undetected by the two men. But it seemed like these two men had high vigilance, because when I tried to put the box into plastic, the views of both of them immediately turned towards me.
"Arettw," the hissing made my movement stop, "you will not let me go from here until you finish the rice," he recalled.
I immediately grabbed back the rice box and quickly ate it back. I don't want to finish this meal, but I'd rather not be stuck here with Mr. Aidan. I scowl and hiss. Mr. Aidan and I don't seem to be a good fit to be friends.
I quickly finished the rest of the food. Forgetting the two creatures who had returned was engrossed in their chatter. And it seems, later I have to run longer because today has spent this chicken. I don't want to ruin the diet that I've built so hard.
The break time is over. Me and them didn't really notice the sound of the bell. We just look at the other kids, who are now starting to move on to their respective classes. Rendi and I finally decided to go first to Mr. Aidan to take a lesson in the next class. But my arm was immediately restrained and made me turn to him.
"Why else, sir? I'm afraid late," I complained.
"Barength. The one who taught your class later was me."
I grinned and let him step out together. When I got to class, I waved at Rendi. That guy's not my class for lessons now. While Mr. Aidan is still waiting for me to finish my goodbye.
When I came in, he came in too. Fortunately the class children were too busy themselves so did not notice if Mr. Aidan and I entered the class together.
Mr. Aidan started the class and it managed to eliminate the sound of bees that had previously been heard filling the room. I admit that all the students here do not pay much attention to the teacher. Only a few and even that managed to attract their attention. The bullying I had discussed with the principal before also seemed not very effective. The individualism they build makes them unwilling to care about the surroundings. So, even if there is a case of bullying it will never get to the teacher's ears unless the teachers themselves intervene to check.
