Aretta & Secrets

Aretta & Secrets
Aidan's Pov

I drove around in the car as I entered the wrong turn. Suddenly, a thought just flashed through my head. Am I crazy? I mean, amidst the uncertainty and with no real evidence, I'm trying to find Aretta just because there's a guy in her neck. Doesn't mean they're the kidnappers, does it?

I looked down, at the address written on the paper note and recalled how crazy I was when I wrote it. But at the time it all made sense. I even argue a lot in my mind if this is worth a try. At least I should be looking because I might be able to find Aretta when I go around.

I went back wrong and now I don't know exactly where I am. I turned my head and instead found myself in one of the student houses I suspected. I searched his house number and when I found him I pulled over and pecked at my car engine. Akh peeked out the window to look towards his house, noticing that there was no garage attached to his rum. Only a small car port can accommodate one car. His license plate number is 'B7651TU' which I know is his which he often told me about at school.

I sighed again and thought that there was no way the man had kidnapped Aretta. I ducked when suddenly a car came up from behind me and stopped in the driveway, and his parents came out. I've met them before in a meeting that talked about Dean's behavior at school and they looked like good people. After all their car plate is B2402UI. I beat the steering wheel in frustration when I found out that I had not managed to find any signs of Aretta.

There might be more opportunities. Just a matter of time and how long I searched, the girl would definitely be found. I turned my car back on when I saw Dean's parents walking hand in hand. If you are not in this condition I will definitely smile at the harmony of the two.

I returned to drive my car. I found a shortcut to the house of Rizal, one of the students I suspected, while thinking about Aretta. I was imagining him and I walking together hand in hand with eyes staring at each other, as if nothing mattered in this world except the two of us. He and I would open the door of our house and take off our shoes and prepare dinner together. I prepared her favorite meal and we would sit together in the tv room after finishing the meal to spend some time together.

After that I'll be in charge of washing dishes because I won't let him get tired. And that night I'll carry him to our bed. I really wish we could do that over and over again for the rest of our lives.

I sighed again and clutched the steering wheel hard as waves of pain invaded me. Being away from Aretta feels really bad, and if I knew what was happening to her now, I wish I was in the same place as her just to keep her safe.

I turned sharply to the street that led to Rizal's house, and as before I went back to look for his house number which was on the right side of the road. It was 13 and according to some people it was an unlucky number. Like I did at Dean's house, I started exploring his house in search of his car. A dark blue car parked comfortably in front of the house, the classic style of the car is already favored by aged people.

I turned around in my chair to look back. I went back to find out if there was another garage where the other cars were stored and I found a driveway leading to the back of the house.

I growled in frustration but still removed my seatbelt to get out of the car. Before I stepped towards that place, I decided to take the hoodie I had stored in the back of the car. I used it to cover my face so as not to get caught by CCTV.

I walked down that little street and there was no way to know if Rizal and his family were home. I decided to run as if I was exercising and I managed to find another carport there that could hold a car again.

I came back unlucky.

Now I felt like punching something, but to prevent me from getting caught, I decided to run back to the car and get in through the passenger seat.

I looked around nervously, and fortunately there was no one to be seen here. I chose to leave her home.

The two failures I have received have upset me. There was only one house left on the list, and I wasn't sure it would also give me the results I wanted. But if Aretta was there it was a blessing to me, even though I knew it was my coworker's house.

I began to follow the instructions I knew from my memory and now I found myself sitting in a car watching the house of God. The house is a fairly normal house with white wooden fences and perfectly maintained lawns. I checked her rose from my seat and began to wonder how she had enough time to keep it looking perfect.

God had a garage that fused in front of his house, and no doubt his car must have been there. I stepped out of the car and leaned back while staring at the house. I couldn't see any movement from the windshield window of the car and I wondered how I could see the license plate of the car. Maybe I'll end up sitting here all night waiting for him to come out. I looked around and looked into the car again whether I could stay or not.

My mind and my head were attacking each other to ask for my sanity. But suspicion dominated more and more made me choose to stay.

I heard a voice that made me look up. I sharpened my hearing again while looking at the sound. And it turns out that voice is no longer heard.

I almost gave up and was going back to the car when the voice sounded again. It was a short, high-pitched screaming sound that resembled a scream. I followed her direction and heard her coming from the house in front of me. Is that the voice of God's new girlfriend? But why is that voice similar to Aretta's?

I also ran straight away.
