I arrived home and as usual with a still quiet atmosphere and no one. I decided to run for a while when I got home and when I was out of breath. I grabbed the lemon water I bought. The tiredness that came to me made me decide to sit for a moment on the terrace while staring at the quiet atmosphere of the night.
Unlike teenagers in general who decide to go out when the weekend night comes, for myself I prefer to stay at home. Immediately after deciding to clean up I put on my pajamas and took the book from the top of my dressing table. I spent the night reading to sleep.
When I opened my eyes again in the morning, I was a little relieved that I woke up right before the alarm went off. I immediately checked my alarm and made sure that he didn't change the wrong number. Because if I get knocked down and the alarm goes off at the wrong time, my mom will come to me and scold me.
The atmosphere of the house still looked dark when I finished taking a shower. I decided to leave the house early because if I just stayed home with my mom and Gio it really makes me feel uncomfortable. Actually the reason I got out early was so I wouldn't get riled up in the morning.
I only wear shirts and culottes and sneakers that I rarely wear. I also brought bread and water for lunch today. Don't forget to bring geography books and picture books to complete the homework Miss Nisa gave me, and I'll also have to start studying for a replay next week. I do as much as possible to complete all the tasks given immediately because I do not know what will happen if I do it later.
When I stepped out of the house, I just felt that it was too early for me to leave. If I go straight to the store, it's not open yet. I decided to stop by the cafe. I went in and ordered coffee as usual, although I always had coffee but I was never in the addiction stage. That's what I'm grateful for until now, it's just that I've started to get addicted to the atmosphere at the Dian cafe. A place where everyone looks familiar and cheerful. This place also has the characteristics of a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
I glanced around the room and it seemed like Mr. Aidan was also as thoughtful as I was with a cup of coffee in front of him. It seems that he will start running in the morning because now he only wears a shirt and shorts combined with his running shoes. It looks different and looks fresh.
"You want sport?" I asked, as I stood right next to him.
Mr. Aidan jumped in shock, he even dropped the newspaper he was reading.
"Aretta! Make a surprise," he growled, then smiled kindly, "it seems not to be. Today is too beautiful to be used for sports," he said, pointing out the window where the sun was shining beautifully.
"It's a pity that" I answered, then walked away to the counter table and ordered my coffee. I decided to sit next to Mr. Aidan. It feels strange if I sit somewhere else while I know this man well.
"Why so dear?" tanyakanya.
"Run to burn calories, increase enthusiasm at the same time because it produces endorphins as a trigger for happiness" I explained. I don't know when I started chatting casually with him. This guy is good and looking at the same time.
"OK okay! I'm gonna run! But not now because we have to work an hour early."
"Where is the time to go forward? Isn't it 09:00? Will you join me as well?" many streak.
"Ehm... No that's. You see, Oma Dewi said, he would not ask for help again with his grandson. I also know how it works."
To be honest, it would be awkward to work with Mr. Aidan there. But I didn't really refuse the help he was going to give.
"Oma said I should get you. As you know Saturdays and Sundays are the peak of crowded stores because the bookstore is the only complete store here" said Mr. Aidan, "actually, today there will be a book that comes, not earlier. The intention was only I would help settle it but because you are already here why not go straight to the store anyway."
I nodded in agreement.
Mr. Aidan and I continued our chat, this time he talked a lot about tourist places that must be visited. He also recommended many restaurants and food stalls here, except food stalls on the corner of the road that made him poisoned for using expired ingredients. And there are still many recommended places that seem impossible to go one by one.
Our conversation went pretty smoothly until we were almost lulled. I glanced at my watch, 10 minutes left and I forced Mr. Aidan to walk to the store immediately.
We walked together and when we reached the store we saw Oma Dewi who was already sitting on the counter while reading a book. When Mr. Aidan and I entered, he put the book down and turned to us with a big smile on his face.
"How come you guys can come together? Do you know each other?"
Mr. Aidan gave a brief kiss on Omanya's cheek before replying, "Aretta is Aidan's student at Oma school" he explained.
Oma Dewi nodded while giving a suspicious smile. He seemed to be in disbelief at what his granddaughter said. After that he looked at me with a meaningful smile.
"Because you've reached Oma will just go straight. The new book was placed in the warehouse. There's a stock of novels and some books of knowledge. Don't forget to arrange it on the shelf. Oma want the arisan used to run out it rest at home," said Oma Dewi while looking for her bag.
"Yes. Oma don't worry. Someone sent you today, right?" Mr. Aidan asked before he left the store.
"There's."
As soon as Oma Dewi left, the first customer came. Mr. Aidan asked me to stand guard at the counter and he chose to help the customer search for the book and then bring the books to pay at my place. For several hours our duty is only to serve customers and accept payment. True what he said last weekend was the busiest time in this store. Fortunately, I was not stupid and refused his help. If that happens, wouldn't I be overwhelmed today.
