I quickly got out of the house as soon as I finished all my business. Aidan's threat is still ringing and I don't want him to come to me. After locking the fence I immediately ran towards him. The driver's window was open and it made it easy for me to talk without knocking on the door.
"I can walk from here because I want to stop by Daia," I said.
"I know you've never been absent to stop by. Come in. I'll go in there, too." He didn't bully me and instead asked me to come in right away.
I complied and he started the engine as soon as I sat there comfortably. Our short walk was filled only by a gripping silence.
Aidan had looked calm, even now the man could hum softly. The streets were already crowded and Daia looked as ready as ever. Aidan parked his car in a normal place and we started heading out to the cafe.
"Sit. Let me order the coffee," I said firmly. Aidan turned his head and frowned disapprovingly but my heart responded with another phrase, "you've done a lot for me and this is all I can do for you." He complied and immediately stepped into our favorite spot. After seeing her sit down I immediately turned towards the counter to order.
I found Rafa who was ready there. The woman seemed very happy to see me again because her smile seemed so wide when our eyes met.
"Gue ordered two black coffees" I told him.
"Ready." Rafa instantly accepted my order and turned around to prepare. A few minutes later he came back with two cups that had different models. I received a tray from Rafa.
"Later we'll have lunch together, right?" many ensure. I'm afraid he's canceled our show.
"So dong. What kind of park near the perpus?"
I nodded and smiled, then stepped away towards the table that Aidan had filled. I handed one of the cups to the front.
I looked at her for a moment before speaking, "Thank you Aidan for letting me stay at your house last night. I don't know what would happen to me if I went home. Thanks again, but I beg you not to interfere with my problems. I'm not sure I can still stay strong if you suddenly care like a gini lagi. And one more thing, I beg you not to let anyone else know but you." I'm not going to hide anything from him anymore. This man already knows what happened to me and if I decide to dodge, what Aidan has will be even more suspicious and he will certainly dig further for information that he should not know.
I gave her a clear barrier so she wouldn't make me wish. I don't want a dependency that will eventually make it difficult for myself and make my life worse.
Even though I'm at my lowest point now, I still don't want to make him a backrest. I will just live my life as usual.
"It's okay. I'm not going to talk to anyone, but you have to remember I'll always be here if you need someone to tell a story. Okay well? You just have to get used to it and think that I'm your friend, a friend you can talk to and tell stories about. Don't consider me a teacher." Aidan is an expert at changing the mood and I'm very grateful that he's not stubborn. I'm not used to receiving help and Aidan's helping hand I can't reach that easily.
Each of us sipped our own coffee. It was still quite a long time until the school bell came in and we used the opportunity to chat more. I asked her about her favorite movie genre and I glanced at her when she said she didn't like comedy.
Aidan chuckled at me who was so distrustful of that fact.
"I prefer the adventure genre" he said. Hearing that I just rolled my eyes and smiled faintly without him noticing.
"You're like a guy" I said, eventually giving up on the reason why he dislikes comedy so much.
His laughter broke, "I'm an Aretta guy" he said after winning, "and you're definitely like a girl in general who likes comedy. Don't deny it because my guess must be right" he said in a teasing tone.
"Really! I also like the romantic genre. I like to see how they express love for each other and how they treat their partners with loving treatment. If you see a movie like that I want to be in the future will have a partner like that. Although impossible but there is no harm in hoping, right? Most of those movies aren't as beautiful as reality."
Aidan's facial expression changed instantly and his teasing expression turned more serious. I immediately lowered my head down and bit my lips thin. It felt embarrassed because I had unknowingly confided in Aidan, my own teacher.
"There's no harm in falling in love with Aretta. You will definitely meet a partner who will accept you as you are later. I guarantee that."
I smiled faintly at the words from Aidan. The man could have calmed me down with just such an uncertain sentence.
"Thank you again. I'm going to road school with Rafa. See you later in the first hour."
Before I actually left, I left my cherry smile for Aidan to believe that I was okay. I can't stay here for long I'll open my mouth and tell you a lot about myself that nobody else should know about.
My footsteps led me to the counter. I tried to find Rafa and luckily the woman had also come out of the staff room while carrying her backpack.
"Hi! Want to go to school together?" I asked, as he stepped out of the counter separating the distance between us.
"Can. I'll take your bike, will I go bonceng?" says slowly.
"If you don't take care of me." He immediately smiled brightly and took me to the motorbike parking lot. Brown Honda Scoopy is the choice.
Rafa looks very seen riding his motorcycle, the girl does not even look nervous when there is a big car speeding on the side.
"Gue can ask me something" he said suddenly and made me have to put my ears on standby in order to hear what he said.
